[GAME] Rule the Roost, Version 2

I copypasted these rules from the old version by Lady Vulpix.

Rule the roost - Zak approved
...And vaguely inspired by shazza.

This game is all about rules, and everyone shall make them (and follow them). So if you feel you'd like to make some rules, now's your chance.

Here's how it works:

1. Each post must contain a new rule, which shall apply to the following posts.
2. Each post must (at least try to) follow all the active rules.
3. If someone messes up (either by breaking a rule or by making a rule that contradicts another which is active at the time), the game starts over and the next poster must make the first new rule.

Needless to say, the PCG rules and General TPM rules are always active.

Aside from the rules, the posts may contain whatever you want (we could even try to hold a conversation while playing, but that's not compulsory unless someone decides it is).

That's it for the introduction. Let's start playing.


First rule: Every post must contain a name of a Pokemon, even if you are as slow as a Slowpoke to produce it.

I vaguely remember this game, so here I am in an Alakazam costume to make something new appear for you guys.

New rule: No using a Pokemon that has a type advantage over the Pokemon in the previous post (so for the next poster, you cannot mention a Pokemon that is a Bug, Ghost, or Dark type).

Let's make things a little more interesting, shall we?

Just naming a Pokemon is not enough. You must list all the Pokemon used so far, and add a Pokemon that was not used before.

Previously used Pokemon: Slowpoke, Alakazam.
New Pokemon: Vulpix.

Sorry Lady Vulpix, but has this game been away for such a long time that you're not cautious? If I now list Slowpoke, Alakazam and Vulpix I have already mentioned Slowpoke, which does have a Type Advantage over Vulpix!! So shall we start over? The first rule is that you must mention a Pokemon move in all caps and no repeats, or else we might see HYPER BEAMs all over the place!

Well, that was quick, but just for the record Mikachu, I didn't say anything about not posting a Pokemon if it has a type disadvantage against one of the previous Pokemon (I only meant the one that was posted immediately before it). Just wanted to clear that up.

With my EXTREME SPEED, I will now ascend to the top of this roost.

New rule: You must use at least three of the symbols generated by pressing Shift + one of the number keys (aka !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (, or ))

This seems like a simple (yet potentially labor-intensive) ENDEAVOR.

Rule #3: Every post after this can only contain a maximum of 24 different letters (That's not to say your post can only contain 24 letters, but rather that you can't use two letters of your choosing out of the alphabet in your post.)

I thought the new Pokemon you added could not be SE against the last one. I didn't think that would apply to every Pokemon mentioned in your post.

I used 2 *s and 2 !s, that's 4 symbols! You keep interpreting the rules in ways that favor you. That is unfair.
