PokeMasters Oekaki

NO Nudity. We want people in school to be able to come here too.
Spend at least 20 minutes on a picture.
Do not submit more than 4 pictures a day, that should be sufficient enough.
No excessive use of comments.
No flaming someone else's art.

Pokemasters Oekaki has some new features!

Safety Saves: You can save up to one in-progress picture if you're worried about crashing while you're afk. Your unfinished picture will not show up on the main oekaki board, and when you are ready to finish your picture just click on Draw and continue your picture!
Public Drawings: You can now draw lineart and post it for your fellow artists to color! After you have finished your drawing and upload it, you can choose from three choices: none, password protect, or public. If you choose public, your art will be available for everyone to modify. Just click Retouch if you're interested in working on a picture.
Uploading: If you lost your picture through the applet due to loss of connection, your computer freezing, etc, you can upload your picture to the oekaki (remember to safety save or print screen often!). Uploading is ONLY for pictures that have been lost and can't be recovered through Picture Recovery. Ask an admin if you would like upload access. :)

HEY I'm still here, lols. Not really updating much because..well, there's not much to update on? By the way, I don't know if I mentioned it before, but we now have CHIBI PAINT. It's the new applet! I haven't tried it myself but I've seen some pretty impressive oekaki pictures using it. Anyway, I hope everyone's enjoying their holidays so far; almost New Years! As usual, feel free to send me messages about your birthday or a weekly theme :)

Hey everyone! New weekly theme - I know I've been rather slow on updating them. Speaking of themes, I don't really have any new ones. For anyone who joined at Isle Aikaki (found at aikastrife.ai.funpic.org/oekaki), it is now being hosted on okekakiart.com/isleaikaki ! Best part is, there are no ads and the new Chibi Painter applet is included. :) I'll still of course be managing this oekaki. By the way, my name is under CandySweets at the oekaki board~
New Theme of the Week! Pokemon wearing clothes. :) I've started the schedule for the rest of the month, but I'm always accepting new ideas. Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far; you're all very creative. :D As for me, winter break is officially over - school starts for me on Tuesday. I'll still be keeping an eye on the board. ;)

First update of the year! WHOO! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! Hope you all enjoyed your winter break/holiday season and are prepared for the new year. :) Anyway, I mentioned this in one of my recent posts, and it seems like everyone agrees with the weekly theme. If you would like to contribute, send me a message with your idea! Depending on the content, I will either accept it or not - don't list too many ideas, because we'd like everyone to have a chance to contribute. ;) I'll post up the theme every Monday, Pacific time. It will last an entire week. If there are any other questions, feel free to let me know - once we start getting ideas, I'll start posting the theme information under the updates.

Edit - OMG, two months later... Did I actually make an image with some sort of background? Wooooooooow. Did I totally skimp on shading the background? Yeah... v_v

Anyway, go elf punk! Yet another character I made for an RP world. It's sort of a cross between Artemis Fowl and S.O.L.A.R. This is Shiori Nar'taonel, First Saerin of the Nevarim. That means she's an assassin. *Stabbity Death!*

Edit: So uh... This is my Blood Elf Death Knight on WoW. I made this for a card that I gave to my boyfriend along with a present (Bleach season 3) and didn't realize til just now that I completely forgot her pointy ears. Possible future edit, but the card's already been given soooo... Maybe not.

@Jolteon - Thanks. :3 The fire effect on the paws is just watercolor with the opacity turned down on that layer. The background is the same watercolor with a textured brush layered over it afterwards.

There were going to be maple leaves on the ground too, but uh... I got tired of working on it. I also discovered very shortly in that I can't draw clothing folds well enough to do a skirt in this position so... pants.

For darkmew's Anthro Contest.

There's way too much history behind this character for me to go into here, so I'll hit all the points that are important to the image:

This is Dusk Reon, an old Umbreon Morph character I created for the Prism Isles RPG, but who ended up at the Atlas Mountain RPG when Prism shut down. Some of you who've been around for a while may remember her, as she was the very first thing I drew upon joining this Oekaki. Her lore is based on the PokeMorph Mush setting, as were all PokeMorphs in Atlas Mountain. She's a freeborn second gen, and in this setting it's common for a PokeMorph to keep their Pokeball, or in Dusk's case (since she is a freeborn) her parents' (she has both but only one is shown here). It's required to be deactivated on PokeMorph Island though, which is why the center lens is black instead of white. She uses it as a kind of stress ball, thus the cracks. While she looks most intimidating here (or was supposed to... -_-), she's usually very happy and kind, but she's challenging someone who's likely said something offensive about Morphs. Her rings are normally white instead of yellow, but stress induced energy charge = blue. Finally, the scar over her eye was given to her by one of her siblings (she was adopted by and lived with the Kimono Girls after her parents' deaths) when she retrieved the Dark Stone on Atlas and briefly lost her mind. Yay!

Peg-leg Pete strikes again!

My sister's girl scout leader had a quadriplegic cat. His name was Peg-Leg Pete. He had a flat stand with wheels for back legs and a pair of peg legs in the front and he would roll around on his little scooter butt and beg for treats and love. I can't imagine how happy Pete would've been to have four legs, even if they were all pegged-y.
