The child comes out of mom’s pouch in this Mega Evolution.
The below video is from the opening ceremonies of the Pokemon World Championships in Vancouver, Canada. Around 9:29 they reveal that Kangaskhan will evolve into Mega Kangaskhan.
In this evolution, the child comes out of mom’s pouch and will help in attacks with the new ability Parental Bond. This lets Mega Kangaskhan attack twice.

Mega Evolutions in Pokemon X and Y

Remember that new Mewtwo form that was revealed months ago? Well apparently according to the latest CoroCoro magazine and video released by Nintendo, that is a new type of Pokemon evolution called a “Mega Evolution”.
Blaziken evolving into Mega Blaziken
Mega Evolution can only happen during a Pokemon battle when the Pokemon is holding a “Mega Stone”. Mega Stones are not available during normal gameplay according to the video. There will be distribution events that you can get ahold of Pokemon holding Mega Stones. You will be able to get Torchic holding a Mega Stone when Pokemon X and Y is released on October 12th.
