That would be a Trill actually. The Vulcan is on the far left in a science blue variant of the First Contact/late DS9 uniform. The Trill on the far right is wearing one of the original uniforms made for the game.
So how does the game work? Do you have to crew your ship with players? Can you just go around blowing up other ships?
Just saw your message....you make your ship/captain. Your crew is AI controled in ground missions and have a basic set of orders you can issue. In space you can control your ship and explore at will. Starfleet will however give you missions that you can accept. Larger missions and space battles will need a fleet to complete (this would be your party in other MMO's). If you have to beam down to the ground while grouped up the AI controled crew members get replaced with other players. As for ships you can fly anything avalible to you but it's usually best to go with a craft that fits your playstyle and career path for your captain. There are smaller tactical ships (like the Defiant), science vessels (such as Voyager) and engineering ships that are a cross between the two (the various versions of the Enterprise).
