Zak, are Jesse, James, and Meowth from Team Rocket poachers? Not only they plan to steal Tyranitar for the boss, they also poach that pokemon to make it easier to steal Tyranitar for the boss. I want to see them arrested.

I don't think that they'd have Jesse, James and Meowth responsible for hurting the Tyranitar....

No, JJ&M are not the poachers in the Tyranitar ep. That honor goes to a pair who are apparently referred to as the "Pokemon Hunter Brothers".

-Ash and co meet the Tyranitar in the mountains, and return Larvitar safely home. They also meet the poachers, which have learned their lesson.
So, Ash doesn't have Larvitar anymore, right?
Could the famous crying scene be on that episode?

Super work, Zak! Now we can finally see a Meganium when Casey returns! Sweet! ;) Pity that Ash's Cyndaquil didn't get to evolve. Now makes you wonder how Ash will get through the Johto League if he has to face power Pokemon in the process. He so could have used Charizard. But then again, maybe Cyndaquil and/or Totodile will evolve during the comp. It happened with Kingler.

The ep's Japanese subtitle is "The Ninetales in the Fog". (dunno the english name).

O.o;; You actually listed all the Master Quest Episode! At least, it clears two rumors, like the one where Misty captures a Corsola by herself. My friend told me that Misty exchanged her Poliwhirl for a Corsola. The other was Bulbasaur was going to leave to keep two gangs of pokemons aways from each other.

Didn't you watch the espisode where the company met Sakura again? In the middle of the espisode, Misty told Sakura how she got her Corsola while they were having a pokemon battle. There was also espisode of Bulbasaur aired last week from Monday to Friday. They like skipped a bunch of espisodes. I was totally confused...

Ash's adventures in Johto seem to last longer than the entire kanto and orange islands episodes put together. I hope after all this the Johto league won't be like the indigo league where two battles(rockand ice field)got cut down to virtually nothing. I'd like to see all of them six on six battles.

Will PokéMon Ruby Version and Saphire Version be out in the UK by then? Usually, they don't release a new PokéMon without having releasing the new versions.

Actually we had seen loadsa GS pokemon in the anime and movies before the release of GS. Marill, snubbull, slowking, Lugia and of course togepi were in the orange islands and kanto episodes and the first two movies. But if sky one keep showing one new ep a week (and probably have a big huge break in the middle) then I think R/S will have long been released by the timethat one airs.

I also think that by the time johtos finally over, theyre gonna have R/S released for like months or weeks. lol, This might even cause the games to be released later then the official date in typical nintendo fashion. There either gonna cut down a few episodes in johto or cause ash to lose in johto to make it quick or theyll change the release to a later date. Id rather have the anime cut short then the games being released later personally

Yes, pknewmaster, Squirtle and Charizard do return (at least temporarily) to Ash's team. This is a pretty good thing as his GSC Pokémon are rather busy continually falling down on the job. Pikachu seems to be having a dip in his performance too.

They've already started showing these episodes on YTV. In todays episode Misty got her Corsoloa. Yesterdays was about the Chinchou. The island in the one about the fat Pidgeys is called "Pudgey Pidgey Island."

TechnoSamurai, if KidsWB would stop getting high from sniffing Yugioh cards, they'd put double episodes of pokemon on saturdays and fix that.

Hope Yuuki (White haired guy in RuSa) makes an appearance some time. Maybe even Kenta and Marina will appear in RuSa. I highly doubt it though, as I'd have no clue why'd they'd visit.

So Haruka's father is the Touka City Gym leader! No wonder he visited me after I defeated the Elite Four at my house when I played as Haruka in an imported Ruby version. I'm like, 'wt* are you doing here???' :P

So he's the father... and that little kid outside the house is the lil' brother... the Game/TV Series actually makes sense when put together.

Well, Mookie, I would say that there is a 99.9% chance of seeing any given Ru/Sa-version Pokémon. Remember that the main purpose for the Advance Generation season is to showcase the new game locations and the new Pokémon.

However, it isn't a certainty. After all, we've never seen Togetic or Porygon 2 from GSC. Thanks to 4Kids' decision not to dub 'Electric Soldier Pokémon', those of us without access to the subs haven't seen Porygon from RBY either.

But its a water Pokemon and its really powerful. A Gyarados could help power up Misty's team. And when after a year she returns to Ash they can battle and Ash will actually face a challenge. Ash didn't beat Haruka's dad oh man. Houen is going to be long now they have to back track. Why didn't Ash just call prof. oak up and asked for some of his other Pokemon? I know he wants to start over and all but backing tracking isn't a good idea. Then again that could be the prefect time to ditch Haruka and Masato when they return to the gym. Haruka could be a good trainer then and she and Masato leaves Ash to take on the gym. And that's a prefect time to bring Misty back before the Houen champion. :D

Any more information on how, when and why Jesse and James "give up" Arbok and Weezing? What episode does it happen in? What happens to them - do they get released into the wild, or lost, or abandoned or something?

It happens in the episode Team Rocket Goodbye to Troublemakers! <Ive heard so many names for this episode!>
There is a poacher around that caged a lot of Ekans and Koffing. Meowth manages to open those cages, and J&J tell Arbok and Weezing to go and be with their own kind, to protect E&K. They are sad to go, and TR is sad to make them go, but its for a good cause. James gets Sabonea at the end of the episode.

Um pokefreak04, I think that Rocketboy was referring to the gyarados in the Misty special, rather than the red gyarados at the Lake of Rage. Did Misty catch it? The only summary I've seen was EXTREMELY confusing, though it implied that she did get gyarados.

Alright, here goes:

-Ash meets Professor Elm on a ship with a Corsola, and finds out about the Whirl Is. Minileague.
-Later, they come to an Island with some fat Pidgey...
-Next, an Island with a big lake full of Chinchou
-Next, an Island with a lot of Corsola, one of which Misty catches in her Lure Ball.
-Next they visit a sunken ship guarded by Mantine, and find the Silver Wing, and give it to some girl to hold for a while.
-Then, they meet a trainer who's gonna participate in the tourney, who has a tank of Remoraid, one of which evolves after battling Misty's Corsola.
-Ash and Misty make it to the semifinals. Ash beats a Kingdra trainer, and Misty beats a Qwilfish trainer.
-Ash sends Bayleef to Oak and gets Kingler for the final match against Misty.
-Ash and Misty face off in a 2 vs 2 battle, first Poliwhirl beats Totodile with some special strategy Misty uses, then Kingler easily hurts Poliwhirl with its claw, but then Psyduck gets a headache from Kingler's claw, and Misty wins.
-Ash switches Kingler back for Bayleef, who seems to be having trouble getting along with Oak.
-Misty has to battle another trainer in a 2 on 2. First round, Gyarados vs Poliwhirl, and Poliwhirl easily gets KO'ed, but then Misty uses Corsola which beats Gyardos with a Spike cannon, but then her opponent's Chinchou somehow beats Corsola.
-Misty's opponent needs to battle one more person in a 1 on 1 to win. Misty's ex-opponent uses Golduck, and HER opponent uses Feraligatr. Feraligatr wins the match and the tourney, getting the Mystic Water.
-Ash and the others visit some island inhabited by Diglett, and somehow save them, and get the Silver Wing again as a reward.
-Then, they go to an island where people make merchandise and jewlery resembling the silver wing. J&J rob the jewlery shop... blah blah blah.
-Then they meet Richie, with a new Pupitar and Zippo as a Charmeleon.
-They see Lugia and its baby, who gets captured by Butch and Cassidy and a TR scientist. Eventually they help save Lugia in an amazing 3-parter.
-B&C use Hitmontop and Houndour this time, which the new scientist uses Electabuzz.
-After the whole Lugia thing, they take the Hoothoot Airline back to mainland.
-Ash battles Jasmine, starting with Pikachu and Magnemite going after eachother, and Pikachu winning. Then she takes out Steelix which easily beats Pikachu. Cyndaquil, however beats Steelix, giving Ash the Mineral badge.
-Ash sends Bulba to Oak to settle a dispute going on in the garden. This gives Ash a space for a Pokemon.
-They go back to Ecruteak City, and Meet the Eevee sisters, and Sakura's Eevee has evolved into Espeon.
-They re-meet Morty, and also meet Eusine, and learn a bit more of the legend of Ho-oh.
-Eusine takes a shot at Suicune in the Tin Tower, using his Alakazam that he trained especially to battle it. However, he fails.
-Ash meets Gary again, as they face off in a Pokemon race, Ash using Bayleef and, Gary using Arcanine. Ash wins the race and gets a Pokemon egg.
-The egg accidently gets Teleported away by Togepi, but the local Jenny uses her Jumpluff to track it down.
-The egg hatches into a Phanpy.
-Delibird starts following J&J.
-Ash and the others reach Mt. Mortar, and meet a ghost of a friend of one of Brock's ancestors. She has a Ninetales that belonged to that ancestor, and its still living. Some of Brock's past is revealed.
-Then they meet the Karate King Kiyo, who has a bit of trouble with his Tyrogue, Ash and the others help, blah blah blah...
-Ash and the others come to a weather station and meet the weather girl who is using Xatu to predict thew weather. Delibird makes a re-appearance.
-Then they get to the Lake of Rage, and Meet Lance, as well as the Red Gyarados. A group of TR scientists steal it and make it mad...
-The RG goes on a rampage through Mahogany Town, and they all try to stop it, especially Lance, who is working his hardest using his Dragonite, but then Pryce comes along and helps him by freezing it with his Dewgong, followed by Lance capturing it.
-Pryce tells Ash ad co a story of how he used to have a Piloswine that abandoned him at a young age.
-Ash and the others go with Pryce into an Ice Cave, and find that Piloswine frozen, and Pryce recovers it and gets it back.
-Ash and Pryce now have their battle. First round being Dewgong vs Cyndaquil, who easily wins. Then Piloswine, with his Ground type resistance to Fire, tramples Cyndaquil. Pikachu then nearly beats Piloswine, but Pryce throws in the towel, not wanting Piloswine to get hurt. Ash recieves the Glacier badge.
-Ash and co help settle a dispute between some Vileplume and Bellossom in a meadow.
-Ash and co help a Fire-Pokemon-obsessed trainer catch a Magcargo.
-Ash and co meet a witch, and help her gather ingredients for a potion which turns Ash into a Pikachu. Ash later automatically turns back, with the spell worn off.
-Ash and co come to a lake, with a Crystal in the center which provides recovery for Electric Pokemon. Zapdos comes by and gets hurt by J&J's machines, and later recovers in the lake.
-Ash and co meet a singer, who has twin Igglybuff co-singers in her concert. Jigglypuff from long ago mkes a return.

-Ash and co come to a battle park, and Ash faces off against a Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastiose.
-Misty's Politoed learns some cherleading moves.
-Ash and co go through the Ice Cave, and meet a Joy who likes Ice Pokemon. Apparently she knows the tanned Joy from Orange islands.
-Ash and co get to Blackthorn City and meet Clair, and learn about her Dragon cultures, and the importance of the Dragon Fang. She has a Gyarados which protects her Dratini from theives. Dratini evolves later while beating TR.
-Ash and Clair start their match, and Ash has trouble getting past Clair's Kingdra. Suddenly, J&J steal the Dragon Fang from the storage room which starts the alarm.
-Ash and co and Clair chase them all the way to the Dragon's Den, but before they can do anything, TR's Dragon Fang attracts a Dragonite, which makes a friend and blasts Ash and co out of there! Later, TR upset the Dragonite, which goes on a rampage through Blackthorn.
-Ash's Charizard comes back with Liza, as it and Dragonair work together to beat Dragonite.
-Ash and Clair now have their match. First round is Snorlax vs Kingdra, and Snorlax wins with Ice Punch. Gyarados knocks Snorlax out with Dragonbreath, so Ash has Pikachu easily beat Gyarados. Dragonair somehow knocks Pikachu out, so Charizard and Dragonair face off in the final round and Charizard wins, giving Ash the Rising Badge.
-Charizard flies off with Liza back to the Charicific Valley .
-Ash learns that he has to now go to New Bark Town and register for the Silver Convention in Silver City, which is near Silver Mountain.
-Wynaut makes an appearance in the series, as TR steals Ash's badges, and Wynaut brings them back to him.
-Ash and the others come to an unauthorized Gym, which likes Water Pokemon. Apparently the leader there knows Misty's Sisters. Him and Misty have a great battle.
-Ash calls Elm to tell him of the news. Elm also says he has a mission for Ash: To go to the Pokemon Oceanography institute, and pick up an Egg and bring it to him to study.
-Ash and co go to the Oceanography instiute and pick up the egg. Also, they happen to see Ash's Lapras from the Orange Islands, together with its pack! Ash helps his Lapras become the new leader.
-The egg hatches into a Larvitar, and they bring it to the Pokemon center when they find out it's been through hell as an egg. Stolen by poachers from Mt. Silver, and getting delivered through the city nearly breaking.
-Ash decides to babysit Larvitar and temporarily keep it with him until they get to Mt. Silver.
-Ash and co come to a hot spring, and heal their Pokemon. The Water-Resistant Pokemon take a sandbath instead.
-Ash and co meet a trainer who is just as much of a fanatic of Entei as Eusine is of Suicune. This guy has a Misdreavus especially trained to battle Entei. At the end he sees Entei and battles him and fails.
-Brock's Pineco evolves to Forretress.
-Ash and co come to another lake inhabited by Slowpoke, and hear a legend about Slowking. They help a trainer's Slowpoke evolve to Slowking.
-Ash and co meet up with Kasey again, who now has a fully evolved Meganium! Later they meet a wild Elekid, who makes friends with Larvitar. Kasey captures it.
-James meets the Magikarp salesman again, and this time he tricks him into trading his Victreebel for a Weepinbell(saying it has a good Sweet Scent). Weepinbell later evolves (without a Leaf Stone o_O) and causes trouble and leaves. Now James has only Weezing.
-Ash and co meet a Magby trainer headed for the silver convention. They help his Magby evolve into Magmar by batting with Larvitar.
-Ash sees a Quilava trainer, and wishes his Cyndaquil would evolve, which it doesn't.
-Ash and co meet some Unown while hiking in the mountains, which take him to a dimension where they live Larvitar's past life, how it was separated from its Tyranitar mother by evil poachers and ended up with Ash.
-Ash and co meet the Tyranitar in the mountains, and return Larvitar safely home. They also meet the poachers, which have learned their lesson.
-Ash and co get to Silver City, and learn about the Ho-oh and Sacred Fire tradition. However, they can't reach the Fire because it's guarded by a Sneasel ans its cohorts, Machoke and Machop!
-Ash makes a new friend that's gonna be in the league, by the name of Hazuki. Together they help get past the Sneasel, as Hazuki captures it. As Hazuki battles, he uses a Houndoom, and a new Pokemon-- Bashamo!!
-Ash enters the league, makes peace with Gary, and faces a Furret trainer in the qualifying rounds, and wins.
-Ash meets a girl named Moe, who specializes in fire Pokemon, and happens to have a crush on him!
-Squirtle returns with Jenny!
-Ash faces Moe in the league prelimenaries first round, in a 3 on 3. Ash wants to use Kingler, but it apparently got injured, so instead he uses Squirtle, Totodile, and Phanpy. Moe uses Slugma, Electabuzz(yes, a non fire type), and Quilava. Ash wins the battle.
-Moe's Slugma evolves to Magcargo.
-Ash meets Jun'ichi, the Meganium trainer from the Raikou special. Then, he gets to battle him in a 3 on 3, where Ash uses Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, and Pikachu, and Jun'ichi uses Azumarill, a Shiny Magneton, and Meganium. Bulbasaur and Meganium make the match a draw, however, Ash has more points, so he heads for the finals.
-Brock calls Liza on the cell, and she delivers Ash's Charizard over.
-Gary's starter is revealed to be a Squirtle.
-Ash and Gary have a 6 on 6 battle. Ash uses Tauros, Heracross, Bayleef, Snorlax, Muk, and Charizard in that order. Gary uses Magmar, Arcanine, Nidoqueen, Scizor, Golem, and Blastoise, in that order. Charizard beats Blastoise by melting up the field.
-Ash faces the quarterfinals in a 6 on 6 battle with his other friend Hazuki. Ash uses Pikachu, Totodile, Noctowl, Snorlax, Bayleef, and Charizard, in that order, while Hazuki uses, in this order, Kecleon, Sneasel, Hypno, Steelix, Houndoom, Bashamo. After a dramatic battle, Bashamo beats Charizard with a new attack, Blaze Kick!
-Hazuki loses the semifinals to a Rhydon trainer named Toshiya, who wins the Silver Convention to a Rapidash trainer.
-Ash gets his Pokedex upgraded at the nearby center.
-Ash and Gary rascue three lost Misdreavus in the city, and guide them back home to the forest.
-Hazuki tells Ash about Houen and Odamaki, inspiring him to want to go there.
-Gary quits training, and decides to dedicate his life to studying Pokemon with Oak and Tracey.
-As Ash heads back to Viridian City, Brock needs to go home, so he heads to Pewter, giving Ash a fork and spoon to remember him.
-When they get there, Misty gets a message that her sisters won a lottery and need to go on vacation, so Misty needs to protect the Gym. Misty then gives Ash a handkerchief to remember her by.
-Joy gives Misty the repaired bike before she leaves.... encountering three big bullies who train Hitmons... but she battles her way through.
-Ash, on the other hand, gets attacked by Team Rocket, and later saves himself using the items... then, he gets back home, and gives Oak all his Pokemon except Pikachu, as he takes the ferry to Houen... TR, of course, follow...
-Ash and Pikachu save a quarrel between some Pokemon on the ship.
-J&J kidnap Pikachu, and use a HUGE magnet to absorb a lot of his energy! Luckily, some Haunters (who happen to be lurking in the ship) come, destroy the magnet, and blast them off! However, Pikachu is still suffering sever damage...!

On the side.....
-In Pewter City, Brock's father quits Gym training, and gives the Gym to Jiroo, his second oldest son. Brock gives Jiroo all his Pokemon except Forretress. Brock's Mom is revealed to be alive. She trains Water Pokemon
-Misty saves her Gym from a huge rage-happy Gyarados on the loose.

ADVANCE GENERATION

-Haruka, a young girl from Mishiro Town, is also aiming to become a trainer, like her father, as she heads toward Odamaki's lab.
-Ash gets there, and immediately seeks help from Odamaki, since there is no Pokemon center in Mishiro Town... but Pikachu overreacts and doesn't like the treatment, so he escapes... Ash and Odamaki set off to look for Pikachu.
-Haruka gets to Odamaki's lab, and finds him gone, so his assistant tells her where he went. She then finds him, and saves him from a bunch of Pochiena, by randomly throwing a Pokeball and following instructions from Odamaki to command Mudkip.
-Ash and Pikachu then get attacked by TR, who accidently heal him and get blasted off.
-Pikachu accidently zaps Haruka's bike, but she manages to forgive him.
-Back at the lab, Haruka chooses Torchic as her first Pokemon.
-Odamaki and his assistant tell of the Houen league.
-As they start their journey, Haruka tries to capture a wild Azurill and fails.
-Ash and Haruka get to Kotoki Town, and meet a man called Umezu and visit the Kotoki ruins.
-Then they meet Team Magma, who have a Houndoom... they also learn about Team Aqua.
-Ash, Haruka, and Umezu help recover the "four keys" and in the ruins, they discover an ancient Pokemon- Jiiransu!
-Ash and Haruka get to Touka city, and meet Haruka's father, Senri, who trains a Yarukimono and happens to be the Gym leader. Ash battles him, and loses, and decides to come back later.
-Ash meets the rest of Haruka's family, her Mom, Mitsuko, and her brother, Masato. Masato joins them along the way.
-Ash and co travel to Touka forest, and encounter a flock of Subame that steal food, one of which Ash managed to capture.
-Brock rejoins the group.
-Ash and co meet a Mudkip trainer, that likes to dress up as different Pokemon so he can know their feelings. He happened to be the one to start with Odamaki's Mudkip. Ash and co help him capture a wild Jiguzaguma.
-J&J give up Arbok and Weezing. and James gets Sabonea.

Um, as of yet, I don't know of any sites that have the episode guide available. Yet, maybe Zak or Murg would know of a Japanese site that has a summary of the Kasumi special and also the Takeshi special.

I love team rocket episodes, and it's great when they show their good side.

On the other hand, it sucks that they only ever get one or two pokemon at a time. Everyone else gets a whole team! Hardly seems fair if Jesse Keeps wobbuffet and gets habuneeku while james loses victreebel and gets an unevolved cacnea. I like the idea of him with a Nokutasu someday, though.

Really? I want James to get it, but then again, it fits in with the cute factor, so Haruka (why does everyone call her May, it's not confirmed yet!) might catch it as well. Then again, if I got to pick who should get Numel, Ash or Haruka, I would pick Ash, since Haruka already has a fire type.

Oops! DUH! She does have a Fire type. Yeah, I want Ash to have this team:

Pikachu- I don't know, I just think he really needs one
Taillow- Evolves into Swellow later to carry the torch for Pidgeotto and Shining Noctowl
Treecko- Then Grovyle, then Jucain. It has a badass attitude, so why NOT evolve?
Numel- Needs a Fire-type; Torkoal doesn't suit him. No other Hoenn Fire Pokemon to choose from
Corphish- Water-type that can travel on land
Gulpin or Aron

Jaffa
4th March 2003, 04:01 PM
If ash follows suit he's gotta get a water typ like wailmer... Numel... Cos it's the only good fire type in Hoenn... He's got the grass and the bird... He just needs something strong (Aron, Or Makuhita) or completely hopeless... (Hinbasu, SLUGMA perhaps...)

But then he could catch a sandshrew or something... Meh, It's impossible to be sure what Ash is gonna catch...

I just hope it's interesting enough... And what happens when this is over? What then... Ash gives up... Sinks into the background and the quest follows another trainer?

God, I'm getting paranoid... EEEEK!

Ash getting Hinbasu?

No, I'd prefer Brock getting it. After all, they'd just make an episode about how beauty is only skin deep, and since Brock is now currently training water types, I wouldn't see anything wrong with it.

In discussing which Ru/Sa-version water-type that Ash will capture, it is important to remember that, with the exception of Lapras, Ash has never caught a true waterbourne water-type like Goldeen or Lanturn. He has always caught amphibious water-types like Squirtle and Totodile. This is because he spends most of his time walking inland, and a Pokémon that can't move out of water would be useless to him.

So, whatever Ru/Sa-version water-type that Ash catches, you can be sure it will be an amphibious one. I support the lobster-like one that I've seen. Name, anyone?

I also think that Ash should catch a Magcargo as his fire-type. Although it is technically a GSC Pokémon, it still appears in Ru/Sa, and I think that it would be funny for him to have such a caustic and dangerous beast around. I would also like to see a Magcargo use Rollout... 8)

Hanada Tattsu

Yeah, the red water type Ben was talking about (BTW, his name to my knowledge is Heigani, and its evolution is Shizarigar) seems to be perfect for Ash. And if he gets Heigani and it evolves, Ash will have a part dark type on his team, a type that he has never trained before.

BTW, Heigani looks like this: http://www.pokemasters.net/images/games/ruby_sapphire/rs129.png, and Shizarigar looks like this:http://www.pokemasters.net/images/games/ruby_sapphire/rs130.png.

Seems good for Ash, don't you think?

EDIT: Added some text before the pics.

i think Corphish (Heigani) would suit ash, but not the evo. It's just toooooo bad-a$$ for Ashy boy!

I suppose Marcargo would be cool, but i dont think Ash will get nemore Pokies, since the intro shows no signs of that. I've just seen Ash use Taillow, Treecko and Pika. I cant remember if any of his old Pokes are in or not...but we still have Mudkip for Brock to get!

Shiny Marill, you have a point, but remember in the intro there's one shot of Jessie, James and Meowth? Seviper is biting Jessie's hair, and Cacnea is hugging James, and Wobuffet is also annoying Jessie.

We do know however, that Jessie catches Wurmple, but we don't see it with her in the intro. That doesn't mean that she doesn't catch it. I hope Ash gets more Pokemon, cause that'll be boring if he's gonna compete in the league with those 3 Pokemon.

I think it is kind of kawaii how both Haruka and Jessie get Wurmple, we can see some rivalry between them.

Also, who else thought that Masato should have caught the Mightyena he became friends with? It's not really his type, but he should just have trained it as a pet, just like Misty used to train one of her infamous friends, *cough*Togepi*cough*.

I know what you mean about Richie. His dub voice really sounds like what Misty referrs to him as, a weasel.

If worst comes to worst, we might have to deal with Richie's voice, because he also does Mokuba's voice in Yu-gi-oh, and is basically the voice of all the boys who need help with their Pokemon in all the Johto filler episodes.

Okay I can see this thread needs a good update. Nothing new since yesterday's preview of the Advance. Oh well. I can see why people want Ash to have Corphish. It's because he caught Krabby and everyone thinks it would make sense for him to also catch Corphish. I really don't like that idea. If Ash needs an amphibious Water-Type, it'll be Spheal. I don't know why but I think Spheal would go good with his Hoenn team. (Water/Ice Type. Plenty of moves to take out a lot of types. Water for Fire, Rock and Ground and Ice for Flying, Grass, Ground and Dragon.)
Also if May's Wurmple evolves, it'll become a Beautifly while Jessie's will end up as a Dustox. Makes sense right?

quilava flame
16th March 2003, 04:49 PM
I would say it's a safe bet that May's Wurmple is going to evolve into a beutifly (from the opeining) and it would make sense for Jesse's to become a Dustox. It seems that the power between team rocket is really unbalenced. Jesse has 3 pokemon while James only has 1.

FalcovsLeon20, Zak already put what happened in the first and second descriptions of the Advanced episodes. He didn't need to change anything because he already saw it in Japanese.

BTW, to answer your question, Sygma, I bet Ash'll get Spheal. And if he doesn't get it, I would really want May or Brock to get it because it really is a cute Pokemon.

That is a good idea for someone to get Pelipper, but I don't think anyone should get it.

It should be more like Snubull/Granbull or Delibird. It should randomly show up and then eat their leftover grub or something. It doesn't suit either Jessie or James as a Pokemon.

No, James doesn't get Altaria.

Altaria was in the second AG ending and was acting as a blanket for Meowth, but it wasn't seen in the shots with all the group's Pokemon, so we don't know if anyone gets either Swablu or Altaria yet.

I figured Ash would lose. There's no way the gecko would defeat the sumo wrestler. I want to see how Ash takes it.

The old Ash would sulk and beg for a rematch, but the new Ash I would think would not sulk and train instead of having Brock and Masato think of strategies for him.

Well, due to the intro and ending we know May's Wurmple will evolve into the more feminine Pokemon, Beautifly, while Jessie's Wurmple will evolve into the more masculine choice, Dustox.

Actually, Dustox is a moth and Beautifly is a butterfly; butterflies & moths, day & night, but not male & female. You get Silcoon in the daytime and Cascoon in the night time, although the Pokedex also hints at it depending on how it is treated.

Well, the game and the anime are different.

Regardless of which though, Beautifly does look a little more femanine than Dustox, regardless of what gender.

Wrong. Whether Wurmple evolves into Silcoon or Cascoon is completely random. I have no idea where people are getting this daytime/nighttime thing, it's totally false. Don't believe me, just check the official NP guide.

On the main site, where it lists all the Pokemon, it says that Wurmple evolves into Silcoon through daytime, and Cascoon during nightime. That's where it started.

I think Beautifly are more common on Sapphire and Dustox are more common on Ruby. Just my thinking.

Beautifly is a little weaker and more femanine than the alternate evolution, Dustox. See, Beautifly's first attack after it evolves is Absorb, not a very good attack if not used on water, ground, or rock Pokemon. Dustox's first attack is Confusion, which is a much more stronger psychic attack.

I rest my case.

Like I said, it's pretty random.

Dustox seem to pop up on Ruby, and Beautifly flock in Sapphire.

My tip is to go to Petalburg Woods, where you have a 15% chance of catching a Silcoon or a Cascoon. Then, just evolve the Pokemon into their final forms from their.

Ash, May, and Brock's Pokemon all run off loose again (deja vu... hehe) and encounter a bunch of really mean wild Nuzleaf. Like "Island of the Giant Pokemon" and "A Hot Water Battle", this episode shows us how the Pokemon teams get along and work together... and we learn some of their cool Anime personalities.
Say does this mean we get to see the Pokemon speak again? With subtitles I mean? Does Taillow get loose too or are the flying Pokemon excluded like in Island of the Giant Pokemon?

I wish Taillow did, but unfortunately, he doesn't get lost. That sounds mean, but if he did, i guess he could fly around Noctowl-style and find Ashy-boy.

Everyone who played R/S knows that some prissy guy called Wallace is the last gym leader. He specialize in WATER Pokemon.
Since Ash will no doubt have to battle him,Ash might flash back to his big battle with Misty way back in Cerulean Gym and maybe Misty will make a return then,in some new clothes and with her hair down(like she was in G/S). ;)

Just a theory, but it seems like since both Wallace and Misty are water Pokemon specialists. :)

Okay, Ash is the only one challenging the gym leaders. May wants to win all the Pokemon contests. Masato wants to learn everything about Pokemon, and Brock wants to learn to be a breeder and about Pokeblocks.

Ash - Pikachu, Taillow, Treecko, Corphish

May - Torchic, Beautifly

Masato - None

Brock - Forretress, Lotad, Mudkip

Jessie - Wobuffet, Seviper, Dustox

James - Cacnea

And of course Meowth.

Team Rocket is also being stalked by a Loudred that always yells in Jessie's ear.

Brawly's Pokemon are Machop and Makuhita (Pikachu-colored Majin Buu lookalike). Ash uses his still fairly inexperienced Taillow and Treeko to fight them and does well but when Makuhita evolves into the giant Fighting type Hariyama Ash loses and goes off to train for a rematch. Its during this time that he catch's the wild and powerful Corphish. I'm not sure if they've already done the rematch but the episode name has been announced.

The Pokeblock, or Blockius Pokeius, is a berry that is user in conjunction with Casius Pokeblockius (Pokeblock Case) in the Games to compress the berries into a square, like an Oxo Cube (Cubius Chickenorbeefius).

The block is fed to the Pokemon to raise either Beauty, Cuteness, Strength, Coolness or something else, probably muscles like Steroids do, lol, and the Pokemon of raises stats is then ushered into a Pokemon contest.

Pokemon contests relate to the games. See Mikey's guide for AG ep 33 (i think) to see a little about Contests. on Thursday, however, there is May's first Contest!
