Dirt Bike

Does anyone know how to use the dirt bike to jump the white logs in the Safari Zone? What is the key configuration

going along w/ this question... if you take the waterfall right next to the town in the woods, you come to an area with a bike path like this:

I can't seem to get past it. Any help?

I have the same trouble...

I have the fast bike (the fisrt one), and the "B & Up/Down" don't work to me... I need to have the slow bike?
