Nyaasu and Pikachu Song

(if this is in the wrong section, please move it. I tried to find at least a shipping thread, and couldn't O.o;; )

I was wandering aimlessly about the Pocket Monsters section of Animelyrics.com, when I happened upon Nyaasu (Nyarth, Meowth) and Pikachu's...theme? I'm not sure what it is, as I've never heard it before, but I'm a bit intrigued with the translation... I may be reading into this a bit much, but it almost seems like, well, Nyaasu has a thing for Pikachu O.o;; Or actually seems to respect and like him... Almost a Shigeru (Gary), Satoshi (Ash) sort of a rivalship, almost? Am I missing something that's in the original?

Any comments or info would be nice ^^;;

It's a short song from the Nyarth's Party CD.

I think when this person chose to do the translation, he used the some English synonyms that were too strong, like "yearn" and "desires". I guess the words Nyarth used don't really have English equivilants, like "itadakimasu", for example.

I do think they have some sort of Shigeru and Satoshi relationship, though Pikachu's dislike for Nyarth is stronger than Satoshi's old resentment for Shigeru when Shigeru used to beat him at something.

I know the gal who translated this, and she said she realized she made some mistakes in it. She tried to get a more accurate one out there, but people seem set with this one.

But yes, even in the corrected version, I still got Krazyshippy overtones.
