Newbie to pokemon................x.x

ok well i need a deck worth making,i quit cause yugioh seemed funner(i was wrong)but i stayed for awhile and forgot pretty much everything so can some one help on the basics plz,btw i found my old deck but only the some monsters and energys,

4 machop
3 machoke
3 machamp
(missing hitmonchans)

trainers

3 professor oak
2 bills
2 pokemon breeders

energy

20 fighting energys

thats all i have right now but can someone help?

1st of all, you'd better say where do you live.
then, depending where you are living you should throw all those cards to waste, and buy newer, from EX RS to EX FR/LG =)

And Alec is right, there are newer cards and frankly if you used those cards you'd get whomped pretty quickly.

That isn't advertising. There is helpful imformation in those links, they're not off topic, they're posted to the actual relevant pages and not the main site and it wasn't in an attempt to make multiple people visit.

Well, some ppl still play unlimited format (where any cards can still be used). From what u say, id say u only have a few cards left in ur collection, so maybe u might wanna list out what u have and we can work from there? U'll be surprised what u can make out of what seems to be junk (trust me on this).

Btw Yoh, lots of ppl play pkmn juz to win too. For example, me. But it doesnt mean we cant enjoy ourselves. I mean, if i dont enjoy what i play, i wouldnt continue even if im the best in the world.

i barely have anything and sorry for the delayed response,but can byou help me with a unlimited deck cause i can get them i i know wat to get cause my friend has so many cards and will gimme what he has of the deck i need,and the rest ill just get from friend,hobby shops,etc......thanx,o and is there a water arch type that you can make????

That would be raindance, the most basic water archetype :)

And we can't make a deck if we dont even know what u want in the first place. Like say, a strategy, main attacking pkmn, stuff like that, ya know?

'Course, if u prefer, here's my version of a starter's deck that is actually not that bad.

4 electabuzz
3 magmar

Trainers(27)
2 oak
4 bill
2 computer search
2 itemfinder
4 gust
4 removal
4 pluspower
2 switch
2 nightly garbage run (if u can get it)
3 trader (or if u can get it, fast ball)

2 double colorless

Its a slightly simplified version of my advanced starter deck for real beginners. If u want the jacked up version, feel free to ask, but i aint sure u can handle that yet if u can't handle this one.
