Eggs and Trading

I've traded some Eggs I've hatched on Pokemon Sapphire to Pokemon Ruby. The odd thing is they now say they were met on the Route I hatched them. Most of these Pokemon I had to breed because they were from Pokemon Colosseum and I needed their first evolutions. Is this normal and could anyone confirm it with their Versions of Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire? Thanks for any help.

Pokemon Sapphire = Route 117 (EGG)
Pokemon Ruby = Route 117 (met)

Probably just a weird glitch b/c you can't have hatched it yourself...

Yea, well that's normal isn't it? You did meet that Pokemon on that route, really. It happens on my Sapphire all the time, with any egg.

So my Pokemon Ruby is thinking I met that Pokemon on the Route at Level 5 in a Pokeball off Pokemon Sapphire. So the Trainer Information is different on Pokemon Ruby so it doesn't know it was an Egg in the first place from Pokemon Sapphire. I've been thinking all along something was wrong with my Pokemon Sapphire or something else. Thanks for your help everyone.
