School uniform or dress code?

Mainly because it stops a lot of people going for all out brand lables, and then insulting those who dont have expensive clothing and things like that. *Sigh* I know a lot of that crap would be happening at my school if we wore whatever we wanted to. My school is so strict on uniform as well, I always thought it was a bad thing - but then last year we went to an inter school presentation for tafe, and compared to the other schools, we really did look really good :) so yeah. School uniform.
