1. how do i get into the 'dotted cave'?

2. ive done the elite four, but what special thing else do i have to do to get into the cave near misty's gym, the cave holds horrubly strong pokemon.

3. is there any way in getting all g/s and r/b and r/s pokemon in leaf green without using pokemon colesseum?

This is where "The Green Site" becomes useful.

1.
- If you mean the cave with the steel doors (on the 6th Island), face it (and stand next to it) and use Cut.
- If you mean getting into the "Unown" ruins (on the 7th Island) then to unlock them the info is here: http://serebii.net/red_green/island7.shtml

2. You need to get your National Dex: http://serebii.net/red_green/national.shtml

3. No - Unless you count using Emerald (and completing it 3 times over to obtain all three GS starters)
