The benefit of locking is that people are instantly drawn to locked threads if only to see the drama that unfolds. Or maybe the comedy. Either way people always want to see why a thread got slammed.

So yes, I am putting this in the Sticky, since that's why it's here. But people will read this and can go there for discussion. We all win.

I also should mention the news is a bit old (almost a month), so the "bigness" is a bit lost.
