Um, yeah, that's cuz those are some of THE most OU pokes in the metagame. Nothing I can do except suggest original UU sets, so you're good to go.

Although, I think Choice-Band Aero with max speed could work over Salamence. With him becoming less used, max-speed jolts are a lot less common, so he outspeeds just about everything. He makes a great starter, and unless they've got skarm/intimidate, he can take out several members of a team on his own. Just an idea, since a starmie/anything with good defense and ice beam can kill salamence in a hit.
