Special Energy Question

I know this is a very noobish question but what's the rule on attaching special energy. I'm pretty sure that I can attach a special energy and then a regular energy on the same turn but can I say, attach two of the same kind of special energy per turn or, for that matter, can I attach more than one special energy per turn at all?

You can only attach one energy per turn, no matter what kind of energy it is. You cannot attach a Water energy to a Vaporeon and then attach a Boost Energy to it. Only ONE energy. :)

Oh, that really sucks. I've been playing this way for years because I've never really had a league here. Thanks for answering my question so I won't be disqualified for doing that.
