If you're on MSN and suddenly every active person pops up offering you a picture download, SHUT THEM ALL DOWN IMMEDIATELY! IF YOU DON'T, you will transmit a virus to all of them!

Yeah, the bropia worm has been going around for over a month now, I'm guessing you're talking about that since it has something to do with a picture? Just look out for anything which ends with .pif as a file type. Websites (some variants do this) or files sent from friends.

Yeah, LE that was the pic. When I saw the beach scene in OT I knew that it was from that (as I said in t'other thread) I liked that pic though ^_^;

I hate stupid people who make viruses. What enticies idiots like that to do it? They have so much ability but they waste it on being idiots.

people probably make viruses for several reasons
1. it makes them feel strong, just like how bullies pick on little kids
2. Windows shut down on them one too many times
3. Some low life who wants to be important
4. A mac lover testing how easily WIndows can be hacked
5. Who knows,

I fear the well being of hte machines I have, just because of a stupid brother who goes to MSN Messenger all of the time.

Some virus writers and hackers say 'We only exploit programx to show companyx how to improve their products by showing them a fault in the program' yet then don't think about contacting the company and telling them rather then spreading a virus.

But I guess some get a power trip out of it, and do this stuff for kicks.
