I would rather not have a time delay at all, so as close to zero as can be achieved is optimal.

The purpose of the delay is to stop the database server from killing itself due to excessive load. As such, 15 seconds is the absolute lowest it should go. Really it should be a minimum of 30 seconds.

The search function is for those of us who use it. Personally that and whos online is all you need. Never do you need to freaquent the forums singully(sp).
