Make sure to update to version 1.0.4 if you haven't.

Also, it appears that VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) has decided to support Firefox and recommend it to its 33,000 students plus faculty and staff.

"VCU is recommending the Firefix Browser due to the Security flaws in the Internet Explorer Browser." (http://www.at.vcu.edu/faq/email/ff_setup.html)

Just awesome...

PS - I don't know how I missed this: http://www.spreadfirefox.com/fifty.html

Yes, good news for Firefox. It seems like they got another user to their name! ME!

Anyway whats the link to the upgrade? Mine is still on Ver. 1.03.

When it comes down to it, firefox isn't any more inherently secure than IE, its vulnerabilities are harder to exploit, not to mention the fact that a lot of these "leet haxors" probably use firefox, and would rather not see it get toasted. Since the source is available, you could just sit there and look through the code for possible flaws or vulnerabilities, and just attack each and every flaw and/or vulnerability.

Thanks for posting. My Firefox didn't tell me of any new updates and so I wasn't aware of the new version.

Firefox tells you about the updates by displaying a little symbol in the upper right corner next to the loading icon.
