I know it's kinda basic. It's my first encounter with photoshop so don't flame me to hard(I will accept supporting critisism [sp?]).

well here it goes (if it doesn't work check the sig)

It's a banner I made in honor of a fic(you can read the name if you want) that is posted here on the forum. sorry if this is advertising but I figured it was something on this site so it isn't such a bad thing to ,right? right? :sweat2:

Advertising in your sig is perfectly legal. Heck, look at my sig. Pity no one has replied.

As for the banner:

The background looks okay, but the cut-outs of the monsters look a bit jagged. Also, the font isn't exactly inspired. I know it is your first-time with photoshop but this wouldn't be too hard to knock up in MS Paint in five minutes. I assume the more you use photoshop the better you'll get. Good luck.

Well this is my second thing done with Photoshop (warning, lame picture up ahead). This morning I was watching some bigfoot races and I got some inspiration of of 1 off the cars (Blue thunder) and I tried a bit to copy his paintjob. Hope he doesn't mind. the format is just a format I use for testing stuff so it isn't a wallpaper or something like that.

I don't really like seeing the stock images having edges from when you cut it out. Like on the one on the right of the banner, you can see a line on the right of her from the end of the image from which you cut her out. Could be a bit smaller and the text is a bit plain.

Keep on trying though, you'll get better with practice :D.

My first encounter with photoshop was much worse *shivers*. So I give you my kudos.
