Introduction.
Our story takes place after Ash becomes a pokemon master, although, acheiving his life long dreams so early in his life now means that he spends his life wandering the globe in search of a new challenge.
Our story is about Heros and Legends, but, it starts on the road to Viridian City with two Team Rocket agents who nervously walk back to their headquarters.
Chapter 1.
"Jesse" Said a very depressed James.
Jesse ignored him as his mopy attitute was starting to bug her.
"Jesse" Said James again.
"What?" Jesse snapped.
"Do we have to see the boss? Why don't we just quit." James said still staring at the floor.
"Because" Jesse blurted out, turning away from James.
"Because what?" James said.
"Just because!" Jesse snapped loudly.
The bosses secret headquarters appeared over the horizon, as soon as James saw it, he shuddered.
"Come on James." Jesse blurted out picking up her pace.
James followed Jesse all the way up to the headquarters main gate.
"Not one single rare pokemon." James said almost crying.
"Oh shut up James." Jesse snorted as she pushed the intercom button.
"Who is it?" Said a gruff voice from the intercom.
"Agent number 4 4 1" Said Jesse firmly.
"Agent number 4 4 2" Said James, still depressed.
There was a brief silence but it was broken by the sound of metal gear grating against each other.
The gate opened and both Jesse and James walked inside.
This was Jesse and James first time in the new Viridian City Headquarters and they could both see that Giovanni spared no expence.
They reached the reception area where a rocket grunt replace your traditional friendly nurse.
"You two" The grunt said rather rudly.
"Giovanni wants to see you know."
Both Jesse and James ignored the grunt bad manners, and continued towards Giovanni's office.
"Oh god." James cowardly said.
Jesse gulped as she opened the bosses door.
Jesse entered the office and saw Giovanni sitting at his desk staring directly at them both.
"Sit down" He ordered them both.
Jesse and James sat in the chairs opposite them.
"So" Giovanni said alot calmer. "You have lost track of the Pikachu?"
Jesse gulped again.
"Nobody knows where he is sir" Jesse said nervously.
"Not even his mommy." James said whilst stuttering.
Jesse Glared at James.
Giovanni hummed to himself.
"You say that boy is a pokemon master now."
"Yes Sir." Jesse replied.
Giovanni stared at them both for a while before noticing what was different about them.
"Where is Meowth."
Jesse and James looked at each other then at the floor.
"We lost Meowth too." James managed to say.
Giovanni was unshaken by this news and continued to think to himself until he was interupted by his intercom.
"Giovanni" The grunt said.
"What!" Giovanni snapped as his trail of thoughts had been broken.
"Its Lawrence the third."
Giovanni sat back in his chair in shock.
"Shall I send him in." The grunt continued.
Jesse and James looked at each other before they head moved closer together.
"Is that the person who wanted to capture Lugia?" Jesse whispered.
"I think it is" James replied in a whisper.
A sweat appeared on both their foreheads.
"He is gonna wanna see us" whispered James.
"Especially after we foiled his plans."
"Yes send him in"Giovanni ordered the grunt over the intercom.
The doors open and out appeares Lawence III, dressed in his pristine robes.
Giovanni chuckled to himself before saying.
"Welcome back double-o-nine."
Lawrence III stood at the doorway.
"My name is Lawrence the third." He calmy but firmly said.
"I quit Team Rocket remember." Lawrence continued.
"Ah yes," Giovanni smugly said. "You quit Team Rocket in search of a legendary pokemon."
"Lugia." Lawrence said.
"Tell me Lawrence, did you ever catch Lugia." Giovanni said, still smug.
Lawrence couldn't see Jesse and James as their high back chairs blocked his view.
"No," Lawrence firmly. "Five people stopped me from doing so."
"Thats a big shame." Giovanni patronising Lawrence.
"Two of them were Team Rocket agents." Lawrence stamped as he shouted.
Giovanni sat back in his chair suprise but unstired by Lawrence's accusations.
"What do want Lawrence." Giovanni said.
Lawrence thought for a second then looked at the floor.
"My airship is destroy and I am broke." Lawrence said quietly.
Giovanni leaned forwards in his chair and smiled.
"I want my job back." Lawrence said.
"Im afraid there is a new double-o-nine." Giovanni said before grinning.
Lawrence stood bolt upright and shouted. "I was your best agent ever, I deserved to be back on team rocket."
Giovanni thought for a second and he looked at Jesse and James.
"You can work with these two."
Jesse and James gulped in there chairs.
"Who?" Lawrence questionned.
"Turn around you two." Giovanni snapped at both Jesse and James.
As both Jesse and James refused to turn around Giovanni snapped.
"TURN AROUND!"
Jesse and James turned around in the chaired to face Lawrence.
"You two!" Lawrence shouted.
"Do you know these two?" Giovanni said.
"These were the two agents who ruined my plans." Lawrence shouted at Giovanni.
Giovanni laughed.
"These two fools." Giovanni said whilst laughed still.
"You sent them after me, Giovanni." Lawrence shouted.
Giovanni's laughter suddenly turned to a scowl.
"I did no such thing." Giovanni said as angrily as he could.
Lawrence didn't dare to question his old boss a second time.
Giovanni finally said. "Take my offer of working with these two, or get lost."
