It was a time of rest across all of the nation of Gaia. The six elemental dragon tribes of fire, water, nature, earth, air, and thunder enjoyed a peaceful harmony with humans in this golden age. But not all beings shared the desire for peace. An evil sorcerer of immense power named Galadorian forged a dragonstone with his dark magic. A stone capable of bending the dragons of the world to his will!
With the dragons at his command, supplementing his already massive army, he launched an assault that crashed upon the world of Gaia like a wave. Before anyone could mount any form of resistance he had managed to conquer nearly half the world, including the great nation of Arnorak. Some regions, such as the islands of Muthed, declared themselves neutral, hoping to avoid Galadorian's wrath. Other's, like the small but proud kingdom of Kalain, stood against his advancing hordes defiantly.
Regardless of your intentions, war is upon you as Galadorian's troops conquer region after region. Whether you had intended to fight or to remain pacifist, the battle is coming. Which side will you choose to stand on when it arrives?

This is edited by Outlaw JT.

Now for the list of places you can start out on. Arnorak is a giant region filled with castles, shops, and homes. It is divided up into four regions. East , West, North and South Arnorak are the regions. North Arnorak is controlled by Galadorian. It has 3 cities. They are Slaveport, Duffillale, and New Silkland and they are all very heavily populated. A lot of elves dwell in Silkland. Those 3 cities take up most of the land. The other small portion of North Arnorak is meadow. East Arnorak is the largest portion and has 4 cities and 1 small town. The small town is Flarken and only has a population of 650. It is east of a large lake named Lake Riran. The cities are called Duraine, Gu’Rahim, and Ga’Hoole. Duraine is mainly populated by elves. Like North Arnorak the rest of the region is meadow. West Arnorak is controlled by rebels against Galadorian. It has 1 massive city surrounded by marble walls. The city is heavily guarded and called Tseedark. The rest of West Arnorak is meadow with a small jungle to the west of the region called the Fang Jungle. The last place on Arnorak is South Arnorak which is the smallest place on Arnorak. It has 2 small villages named Fa’Deere and Quiven. It’s controlled by Galadorian. It is south-east of where the dragons dwelled before they were controlled. Balmora is a place that is neutral and far north-east. It is a lively desert with small camps spread through it. The camps have no names and there are 18 of them. Kalain is mid-south and is a small kingdom of 2 cities controlled by rebels. They are Onigu and Felixar. Felixar has a giant well in the midddle of it and mainly humans dwell there. Onigumo is known as a breeding ground for vattle unicorns. They are heavily guarded and have populations around 3065 each. Kalain is a woodland except for the cities. There are no major bodies of water in Kalain. Off the west coast there are 8 islands of Muthed, but only 2 are currently inhabited. The Names of the island are: Killinger, Huther, Khaar, Khaal, and Weskeln. Each has on city and they are Juraig on Khaal and Levaithen on Weskeln. Juraig has many small ice caves spread out through it and so does Killinger while the rest are mainly flat glaciers. They are small and populated by many races. The smallest on is Huther and the largest island is Khaal. They are all ice lands. Yiryazim is an abandoned city to the east. In the southwest are the Vivec caverns controlled by the empire. They are large and damp. 1 massive underground city named Mawville is in the giant caverns. Not in the city, but in the rest of the caverns many goblins dwell. Dyanda is a city in no region. It also is the main city of the empire and Galadorain lives in it. It is the most heavily guarded place in all of Gaia. It is also the largest city in all of Gaia. The Galas Forest is abandoned, small, and south-east. The Folodeere Mountains have no city, but are controlled by the empire They are east of the Galas Forest. They cover miles per mountain. Also they are quite rocky. In the center of Gaia are the Dark Plains. No one controls that region and it is considered suicide to go into it because of the creatures that roam those lands. Currently Galadorain and his troops are trying to capture it. Maar Gan is controlled by rebels. It has 3 cities which are Jugan, Pultzar, and Sidear. Sidear is small while the other 2 are large. All kinds of folk are in those cities. The rest of Maar Gan is plain with tall grass. Yiryazim is controlled by the empire. Is rocky region with 2 cities and 1 small town . The town in called: Nudac and the cities are called Amador and Citil. Citil is the largest and mainly mages go to Nudac. A lake called Lake Yirar is to the west of this region. A small nameless cave is south of the lake. Another neutral place is Farkenald. It has many small camps spread out through it. Farkenald is north of the dragon caves. It has no actual cities or towns. It is also an iceland.Ask if you need help pronouncing anything.

Name: Riyoku (not his true name - he keeps that secret)

Class: Sorcerer

Race: Human

Weapon: Quarterstaff

Appearance: Like all sorcerers, Riyoku's appearance is exotic. His hair is platinum blonde (dyed) and worn long, and his eyes are violet. his skin is a pale. He's slightly muscular (a nod to his former profession), but not bodybuilder muscular.

Personality: Quiet most of the time. He doesn't try to draw attention to himself. The idea of being recognized by his foes makes hims nervous.

Apparel: Wears black, with a cape with a cowl. He wears the cowl to keep his face hidden while in heavily populated areas. He also wears a simple golden ring on both hands.

Side: Riyoku will ally with anyone who opposes Galadorian, so long as the person is not as much a tyrant as Galadorian himself. Riyoku has an intense dislike for injustice, being a victim of it himself.

Current Location: Kalain, but he tends to wander.

Home: Flarken, but he dare not go back there.

History: Sorcerers are rare beings - like mages, they can control magical energy, but unlike mages, they don't learn it. Sorcerers are born with their powers, and such powers manifest at a young age. Some say that dragon blood runs in their veins - who can tell. Riyoku never asked for his powers, and they proved as much a curse as they were a gift.

He was once just a farm boy, living outside of Kalain. When he was sixteen (some months ago, his parents started to get into arguements with a wealthy Baron from Duraine named Malaris. Riyoku didn't know what the whole fight was about, and when he asked his father, he was told never to mind. Riyoku didn't press...

Then one day, the world came crashing down. Riyoku came home from a trip into town to find his parents murdered - and the killers still in the house. Malaris was there, as was his son, a brute named Kurtis. Malaris likely never intended to kill Riyoku, but once he saw him, he decided to leave no witnesses. He told Kurtis to kill the boy...

Maybe it was grief, maybe it was fear for his saftey, maybe a combination of the two, but at that moment, Riyoku's powers of sorcery manifested for the first time. Hardly knowing what he was doing, he cast a destructive spell that struck the murderer dead. Malaris fled in fear...

But he'd be back. Malaris thought of revenge soon after leaving. He used his influence in the city to concoct an evil lie, stating that Riyoku was in league with demons, and had murdered Kurtis, AND his own parents. With his powers not fully functioning, Riyoku was arrested. His ensuing trial was a joke - to this day, he is certain that the judge and jury was bribed.

Fortunately, the night before he was to be hanged, his powers fully manifested. He used them to escape and overpower the guards of the prison. He stopped at his farmhouse and got two items - his parent's wedding rings. He would keep them to remind himself of how he would someday avenge them.

Now a fugitive, living under an assumed name, Riyoku wanders, seeking to do good. He knows his enemy is likely too well connected to face - but maybe after becoming stronger, he can clear his name and make certain the one truley responsible hangs...

Name: Jack Korso
Class: Warrior/Hunter
Race: Human

Weapon: (can we have more than one?) Two katanas, and one big longsword that Jack forged hard enough and sharp enough to pierce Dragon scales.

Appearance: His face has multiple scars that criss-cross his face. His eyes are a deep blue. About 6'2, healthy looking. Looks are deciving, as he is very strong-but you can't see alot of muscle in him. He is also very aerobic and atheletic, so he has some really nice ninja-like moves that break the laws of physics. Literly. Not matrix-style, but it's still a bit...unatural.

Personality: Quiet, speaks when needed. When he does, it's something important. His past made him very...er...pushable? Meaning, he gets angry easily. But that's for someone who really knows how to push his buttons...like himself and dragons. They hate him...alot.

Apparel: Wears a jet black shawl that goes down to his feet, and a cape, with hood (of course). His boots look like they've been the same thing Jack wore for all his life so far (about 30 years old). Wears gloves that stretch out on his entire arm. Essentialy, the only part of him that is seen in flesh is his face.

Side: Since his past made him trust no one, he's essentialy on no one's side. BUT- He currently has a shaky truce relationship with Galadorain in Dyanda. He does some dangerous jobs for him, and usually meets him in person.
Current Location: Dyanda. He'll won't tell anyone how he got in.

Home: Farkenald.

History: When he was born, he was literly left to die. Somehow, he lived- and now since he learned that his parents-his parents- left him to die, he trusts no one. When he learned of Galadorain, he made a very...shaky truce with him personaly.

Other: His skill with swords is legandary in Dyanda. Many have challenged him, only to end up being skewered to death.

His shaky relationship with Galadorain is becoming more stable with each mission Jack takes. But he's been plotting a plan to overthrow him when the relationship is at it's best. But that plan is far from comepletion.

Finished. Me happy.

Outlaw JT

Name: Rukio (once upon a time he was known as Lord Rukio, the Mage Slayer)
Class: Mage Knight
Race: half-dwarf/half-human
Weapon: a really, really big sword (Cloud's sword looked like a dagger next to this thing)
Appearance: Rukio is a tall, broad, mountain of a man. He has long brown hair and a full beard braided at the corners of his chin. His eyes are a deep and reflective brown. His hair is just starting to show signs of gray. Despite his height, he is still built like a dwarf; stout and muscular.
Personality: Gruff, bitter, and harsh. Everything he once cared about was stripped from him by one method or another. Now, all he cares about is the small stretch of land he has claimed as his home. He has no concern for the world outside it. At least, he doesn't show it.
Apparel: Rukio is clad in black dragon scale armor, with menacing war boots styled after the claws of a black dragon. He wears dark brown leather gauntlets and has a steel shield strapped to each forearm like a bracer. The right shield is black and bears his family crest emblazoned on the front. The left shield is gold and bears the markings of the Thunder Dragon clan. Rukio also wears a large bear skin cape, clasped in the front by the old symbol of Dyanda. The symbol that stood on their flags before Galadorian's reign began.
Side: He claims neutrality but given proper motivation could be swayed to join the fight against Galadorian.
Current Location: Dark Plains
Home: Once upon a time Dyanda, but now he calls the Dark Plains his home.
History: He was born Rukio Greyhammer, son to Ulric Grehammer who was Lord to all dwarves in Dyanda. He was the heir to the dwarven seat on the old Dyanda Council. He grew up in dwarven fashion, uninfluenced by his mother's human customs. His training in both politics and battle began at an early age. When he was but 13, war broke out between Dyanda and Yiryazim. Rukio's father led the front line troops into battle. Dyanda's frontline consisted of only a few wizards being mostly comprised of infantry with only two compliments of archers. Yiryazim sent an army of sorcerors and wizards in their first wave. It was a massacre as magic washed over the troops relentlessly. Rukio witnessed this through the rear window of the carriage that sped him to safety once the battle started. From that day he grew a deep hatred for all magic users. He stopped all of his studies in politics and dedicated himself to learning every way of combating magic known. He learned how to reinforce weapons and armor to resist, even reflect some magic. The war raged for 3 years as he studied. When he turned 16, he donned his reinforced armor and took up his blessed sword for the first time. When he first stepped into battle against the Yiryazim sorceror's it was a sight to behold. Magic attacks of all varieties would bend around his armor leaving him unscathed. Fireballs and lightning bolts would reflect off of his shields back upon their casters. His sword sliced through magical barriers like paper. His wrath against the sorceror's that had slaughtered his father and so many men he had trained alongside as a boy raged across the battlefield like a storm. At the conclusion of his first battle, every magic user Yiryazim had brought to the field that day lay cleaved in two. Rukio was swiftly promoted to his father's position as General and Lord of all Dyandan dwarves. The people called him Lord Rukio, the Mage Slayer. Along with the Lords of all the races of Dyanda, Rukio turned the fight back against Yiryazim. They marched on Yiryazim within a year of Rukio's rise. When they were done, the Yiryazim army was wiped out and much of it's once glorious city lay in ruin. While they were away, the political climate in Dyanda changed. Once the seat of power had been a shared council, filled with representitives from each race native to Dyanda. While the Lords were away waging the war against Yiryazim, a single leader was elected to rule in their absence. When they finally returned, the new leader took command of the army and ordered the Lords to accept the new rule of Dyanda. Some Lords accepted blindly. Others, like Rukio, refused. Those who refused were stripped of their land and title. Those who further resisted had their families imprisoned or worse. Rukio resisted vehemently as the ruler who had taken power was a sorceror and he still despised all manner of magic user. When they attempted to arrest his mother and younger sister he intervened. He slaughtered the soldiers the second they drew their weapons. With the soldiers, however, was a powerful wizard. The wizard cast a fireball upon Rukio. His armor simply split the fireball around him and it passed safely by. Unfortunately his family had been behind him and they took the blast head on. They were incinerated almost instantly. Watching his family die he fell to his knees, his will broken. He was banished from Dyanda. As he slowly walked away from his home, he watched them taking down the old Dyandan flags and raising flags with a new symbol. Seeing his home was no longer his home he decided to travel to a place where no man called home. He would hide from the world that had been so heartless. He took up residence in the Dark Plains. At first it was rough going. All manner of creature attacked him but he was still hardened from war and defeated each beast that came his way. Over time, the inhabitants of the plains became accustomed to his presence and ceased to attack him. He has remained there for 40 years, oblivious to the goings on in the world outside the Dark Plains. The legend of the Mage Slayer lives on everywhere that heard of the Yiryazim/Dyanda war, but few remain who actually knew him or saw him in action. His weapons and armor are still kept in peak condition but much of the polish and element that granted them near immunity to magic has faded. The Dark Plains lacks the resources needed to reinforce them so they only retain a fraction of their once flawless magic immunity.
Other: His hatred of magic users hasn't dissipated over the years but it has mellowed a bit. In his youth he would have killed a magic user at the drop of a hat for the slightest insult. Now, a magic user would actually have to draw a weapon or spell against him to provoke him to murder. Also, he no longer has a family name. When his family died as a result of his actions, regardless of his intentions, he dishonored his name. According to dwarven tradition, when you dishonor your family name you are stripped of it. That is why he is simple Rukio now.

Name: Kinna Velken (on the streets he is known as Prowler)
Class: thief
Race: halfling
Weapon: hand crossbow, daggers
Appearance: Kinna stands at a measly 2'10". He is short even for a halfling. He has short but wild sandy blonde hair and a neatly shaved stache and goatee. His eyes are a light crystal blue. He has a very athletic body for a halfling. Almost like a swimmer's body.
Personality: He is clever, witty, and playful. It is a rare occurence when someone can get the better of him in conversation. He has a real knack for turning people's own words against them. He maybe a true out and out greedy thief but he doesn't mean any real harm by anything he does.
Apparel: A shimmering black hooded cloak that seems to blend into it's surroundings making Kinna almost invisible when he wishes it. Only the most acute eyes can recognize the illusion. He wears a normal white collared shirt and a brown leather vest. Brown pants that match the vest and brown moccasin-like shoes round out the ensemble. His clothing is full of hidden pockets.
Side: Much to his dismay he is very much on the side against Galadorian.
Current Location: Tseedark, West Arnorak
Home: Jugan, Maar Gan
History: Kinna was an orphan and grew up as a street beggar. He learned to steal what he had to to survive and developed a real gift for it. By the time he was 15 he was so good at it he decided to make a profession of it. And so, Prowler the thief was born. His skills grew swiftly the next few years and so did his ambition. He tried for bigger and bigger scores, building up an increasingly impressive reputation as a master thief. He lived happily in Jugan until his reputation exceeded his skill when he tried to rob the grand Jugan treasury. It was too well guarded and while he was trying to make his escape with his fill of treasure, he was spotted. He had to dump over half his haul to facilitate his escape. As he had been spotted and his face was now known, he had to relocate to a new city to persist in his chosen career. Mind you, his reputation as a master thief remained intact as no one had ever attempted to rob the treasury and managed escape. He is still known throughout Jugan as a master thief that can pick any lock and gain entry to any vault. It's just that every guard in the city knows his face so he can't carry on working there anymore. He tried a few cities but none of them felt quite right until he reached Tseedark. Meaning, until he reached Tseedark he hadn't found a city that was wealthy enough for his tastes. He has slowly been building his reputation anew in Tseedark as Prowler, the master thief. He is very against Galadorian. Most cities would merely throw him in prison if he were caught, which he would easily be capable of escaping. Galadorian has all criminals executed regardless of their offense. Kinna sees that is very bad for business and he'd fight against anything that is bad for business, in his own special way.
Other: The lock hasn't been invented that Kinna can't pick.

As a side note, the Yiryazim in Rukio's history is the now abandoned city of Yiryazim and not the region Yiryazim that is home to the cities of Nudac, Amador and Citil.
