These are the rules:
1.- QUESTIONS ONLY - The title says it. Never say anything out of a question.
2.- Every post must be related to the previous post.
3.- Do not post more than 5 times within 24 hours.
4.- Everyone must abide by the rules of the PCG forum and TPM in general, as in all other topics.

Who here hasn't seen Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith yet?

Lady Vulpix
6th June 2005, 07:26 PM
Why are we talking about that yet again?

Jeff
6th June 2005, 08:52 PM
Hasn't that movie been out long enough that we can stop talking about it now?

Lady Vulpix
6th June 2005, 09:00 PM
Are you implying that when a movie is new it's wrong to stop talking about it?

Fett One
6th June 2005, 11:30 PM
Don't people usually talk about a movie a lot when it first comes out?

M1ND G4ME
7th June 2005, 01:40 AM
Why must all you people steriotipically assume that all people are going to talk about a movie right when it comes out?

What if they have no money to go SEE that movie!?

What if they wanna go AGAINST the grain?!

What if they want to wait until it comes out on DVD!?

ISNT IT FEASABLE TO ASSUME THEY WOULD LIKE TO BUY THE SET OF 6!?

HUH!?

HUH!?!?

Lady Vulpix
7th June 2005, 09:22 AM
And what about those who don't care for the movie?
Arewe still talking about the same movie, or movies in general?

Fett One
8th June 2005, 01:01 AM
Given Lord's Archangel comments, it sounds like he is referring to movies in general?

M1ND G4ME
8th June 2005, 09:27 AM
wasnt that more like a sentence?
And dontcha remember me, fett?
Dont you remember your buddy?
Dont you remember The Wizard of games?

Fett One
8th June 2005, 02:59 PM
I forgot to put the word "doesn't" into the sentence, which would have made it a question but since I goofed up, should I stop posting repsonses in the middle of the night? Would waiting until I get some sleep help prevent any future goof ups? Will other people follow this advice?

sesshomaru
8th June 2005, 03:28 PM
Well couldn't you try it out and stop the evil future goof ups?

M1ND G4ME
8th June 2005, 06:52 PM
Don't you think he should just admit defeat?
Isn't it about time someone looses this game?

Jeff
8th June 2005, 08:56 PM
Why does someone have to lose the game, and why do you always ask so many questions?

Fett One
8th June 2005, 11:13 PM
Whats wrong with asking a lot of questions?

M1ND G4ME
9th June 2005, 07:38 AM
Are you intimidated with my skill?
Don't you think I'm making up for the lack of posters?

Lady Vulpix
9th June 2005, 07:49 AM
Jeff, do you realize that "I forgot to put the word "doesn't" into the sentence, which would have made it a question" is not a question either?
And how can anyone lose a game that never ends unless people get bored? Won't breaking the rules just lead to warnings and partial/total bans? Or does that count as losing to you, Hunter?

M1ND G4ME
9th June 2005, 08:29 AM
...*blink* Well what do you think?

Lady Vulpix
9th June 2005, 10:43 AM
How am I supposed to know what counts as losing to you?

M1ND G4ME
10th June 2005, 04:58 AM
Cant you use your moddy powers of goodness?

Lady Vulpix
8th July 2005, 01:37 PM
Since when is telepathy an attribute that comes with modship?

Chris Watarimono
8th July 2005, 01:51 PM
Does modship carry other benevolent supernatural and abnormal powers?

-Chris R.

Fett One
8th July 2005, 01:51 PM
What attributes do come with modship?

Lady Vulpix
8th July 2005, 04:35 PM
Haven't you heard of post editing, thread closing/opening/splitting and the likes before?

Fett One
9th July 2005, 09:36 PM
Is that all of the attributes? What about Chris Watarimono question which asked about supernatural and abnormal powers?

Lady Vulpix
10th July 2005, 07:30 AM
What do you think about it?

Fett One
10th July 2005, 02:57 PM
I think it's a bit ridiculous but couldn't you humor us with some made up powers? What would be some super powers that you would like for mods to have if it were possible to get some?

Lady Vulpix
10th July 2005, 08:16 PM
What about the power to know everything that happens on their forums, and instantly fix any problems that arise?

mr_pikachu
11th July 2005, 02:59 AM
Don't you think that's a little dull? Besides, aren't you supposed to be able to do those things anyway?

Lady Vulpix
11th July 2005, 08:34 AM
Don't you think it would be useful for a mod to have that power, since many people expect us to actually have it when it's obviously impossible?

Fett One
11th July 2005, 06:59 PM
Are those the only powers that mods would find useful?

mr_pikachu
12th July 2005, 12:45 AM
What if they had the ability to magically make billions of dollars appear? Would not having to work for a living give them more time to mod on TPM?

Lady Vulpix
12th July 2005, 09:38 AM
Even if that was the case, wouldn't we still need to sleep, and do other things eventually?

Chris Watarimono
12th July 2005, 12:00 PM
What kind of nut would spend all their free time modding TPM? Wouldn't it get boring?

-Chris R.

mr_pikachu
12th July 2005, 12:21 PM
How could you get bored of TPM? Don't you like the forums?

Lady Vulpix
12th July 2005, 12:52 PM
Does liking something mean you have to keep doing it 24/7?

mr_pikachu
12th July 2005, 01:32 PM
Do you not enjoy the forums enough to forego sleep for them? Is sleep really all that necessary?

Lady Vulpix
12th July 2005, 01:33 PM
How long has it been since you last slept?

mr_pikachu
12th July 2005, 01:35 PM
Why are you bringing my life into this discussion? Are my sleeping habits really the issue here?

Fett One
12th July 2005, 02:27 PM
Shouldn't your sleeping habits be part of the discussion since you think people can stay up 24/7?

mr_pikachu
12th July 2005, 02:30 PM
Why would you think we were discussing people in general? Wasn't the discussion referring to the dedication of mods? Do I look like a mod?

Would it be a wise idea for me to reply to this thread again today?

Lady Vulpix
12th July 2005, 02:57 PM
Don't you know mods are people?
What is a mod supposed to look like?
And what does posting in this thread have to do with wisdom?

Fett One
12th July 2005, 03:27 PM
And what does posting in this thread have to do with wisdom?

Could he be referring to the 5 post a day rule?

Lady Vulpix
12th July 2005, 03:33 PM
Why do most people only reply to the last question when there are several questions in one post?
Is this a good way to make my last post for today in this game?

Fett One
13th July 2005, 01:59 PM
Isn't it easier to reply to just one question rather then trying to reply to all of them? Do you consider it a good way to make your last post of the day?

Lady Vulpix
13th July 2005, 05:35 PM
Which of your two questions would you rather I replied to :P?

Fett One
13th July 2005, 10:35 PM
Which one do you feel like answering?

mr_pikachu
14th July 2005, 01:38 AM
What if she feels like answering both of them?

Fett One
14th July 2005, 08:09 PM
Isn't she free to do so?

mr_pikachu
14th July 2005, 09:05 PM
If that's the case, then why did you ask which one she felt like answering?

Fett One
15th July 2005, 08:54 PM
Didn't she ask me to pick one for her?

mr_pikachu
16th July 2005, 12:44 AM
Wasn't that because you pressured her into it with the statement before that post?

Lady Vulpix
16th July 2005, 07:15 PM
Isn't mr_pikachu right?

Fett One
17th July 2005, 10:45 PM
How did I pressure her? When did I ever say that she had to choose just one question?

Lady Vulpix
18th July 2005, 07:16 AM
Don't you remember making this post (http://www.pokemasters.net/forums/index.php?topic=35049.msg592985#msg592985)?

Fett One
18th July 2005, 08:48 PM
How is me telling you to pick which ever one you want to answer, after you asked which one you should answer, count as me pressuring you into picking only one?

Lady Vulpix
18th July 2005, 09:23 PM
Which post did you read? Didn't I point to post 592985?

mr_pikachu
18th July 2005, 10:39 PM
Is it possible that he instead read post 593090, shown here (http://www.pokemasters.net/forums/index.php?topic=35049.msg593090#msg593090)?

Lady Vulpix
19th July 2005, 09:43 AM
But why?

Fett One
19th July 2005, 02:47 PM
Where do you get those post numbers from? Assuming your referring to reply #43, how does my comment about it being easier to reply to only one question force you to answer only one? Where in that comment does it say you have to answer only one?

mr_pikachu
20th July 2005, 02:10 AM
Wasn't the phrase "Do you consider it a good way to make your last post of the day?" meant to be a rhetorical question designed to poke fun at LV's method of playing this game? If it wasn't, then what did you mean by it? And don't you realize that when you quote a message, the post number is revealed via its URL? Or have you never done that before?

Fett One
20th July 2005, 03:13 PM
Since Gabi felt pressured, does this mean then that she didn't realize that that phase was meant as a joke? Has posting quotes also revealed post numbers since I have never noticed it before?

Lady Vulpix
20th July 2005, 04:13 PM
Haven't you found more than one way to see the number of a post, like looking at the adress on your browser right after you post it, or looking at the link on the post's title?
And if your post was a joke, why is it that most people reply only to the last question when more than one question is asked on the same post?

Fett One
20th July 2005, 10:24 PM
Can you believe I have never noticed any of those before? Don't people respond only to the last question in a post because it's easier than answering all of the questions (I'm being serious, this is not a joke)?

Lady Vulpix
21st July 2005, 08:09 AM
But do you like it when you ask more than one question and only get a reply to one of them?

Fett One
21st July 2005, 01:20 PM
It doesn't bother me but does it bother you?

Chris Watarimono
21st July 2005, 04:07 PM
Don't you notice that it would bother me too?

-Chris R.

mr_pikachu
23rd July 2005, 12:58 AM
Why would we have realized that? How could we have realized it with you absent from the discussion earlier?

Fett One
23rd July 2005, 01:09 AM
Could we have realized that with telepathy if that ability existed in us?

mr_pikachu
23rd July 2005, 01:11 AM
Does that ability exist within you?

Fett One
23rd July 2005, 01:23 AM
No I don't but what about you? Do you possess telepathy?

mr_pikachu
23rd July 2005, 03:06 AM
Does anyone really have telepathy, or are all the examples merely frauds? And even if I said I did, how would you know I wasn't lying?

Chris Watarimono
23rd July 2005, 01:42 PM
So what if I was absent from the discussion earlier? How do I know that you aren't a lying spy?

-Chris R.

mr_pikachu
25th July 2005, 03:24 AM
"So what"? Didn't you read my last few posts? And if I was a lying spy, what would I be spying on?

Fett One
25th July 2005, 02:43 PM
Could you be spying for the government in order to see how people act on a pokemon message board? Would the government even stoop that low as to spy on a pokemon message board?

Kris
25th July 2005, 02:59 PM
Why would the government care about a pokemon board?

mr_pikachu
25th July 2005, 10:18 PM
Do they have the same ideas as the religious fanatics who believe that the Ghost type makes Pokemon evil? If that's the case, would they suspect us as possible terrorists, since they would clearly (and wrongfully) think that we are all evil?

Zcade0
26th July 2005, 10:44 AM
What is a religious fanatic?

Fett One
26th July 2005, 01:51 PM
Isn't a religious fanatic someone who takes religion too seriously?

Zcade0
26th July 2005, 03:13 PM
Are you sure?

mr_pikachu
26th July 2005, 11:43 PM
Why would Fett One have posted that if he wasn't sure about it?

Zcade0
27th July 2005, 01:36 PM
How am I supposed to know?

Fett One
27th July 2005, 03:05 PM
If you can't trust us to provide you with information then who can you trust?

Chris Watarimono
27th July 2005, 10:22 PM
Then why can't you trust me?

-Chris R.

Zcade0
28th July 2005, 06:49 PM
Why should I trust you? Are you a spy like that other guy?

Fett One
31st July 2005, 12:50 AM
What makes you think he is a spy?

Zcade0
2nd August 2005, 11:08 PM
What makes me think YOU arn't the spy? Why is there a goverment spy in pokemasters??

mr_pikachu
3rd August 2005, 12:50 AM
Who told you that the spies in TPM are from governments? Couldn't they be from organizations that are even more evil, such as the green forums?

Fett One
3rd August 2005, 01:10 PM
What are the green forums?

Zcade0
3rd August 2005, 01:19 PM
Are they made of boogers?

Jeff
3rd August 2005, 09:10 PM
Why are so many people so lucky to have never heard of the Green Forums? Or do you not realize that's what we like to call SPP?

Kris
4th August 2005, 07:28 AM
Why would we want to know about them?

Fett One
4th August 2005, 02:40 PM
Why are so many people so lucky to have never heard of the Green Forums? Or do you not realize that's what we like to call SPP?

I haven't been to those forums in a few years, so when did they start calling it the green forums?

Why would we want to know about them?

Is there any reason why we shouldn't find out about them?

Zcade0
4th August 2005, 04:12 PM
Are the green fourms evil? Are you their spy?

Chris Watarimono
4th August 2005, 08:10 PM
Aren't all spies evil?

-Chris R.

Zcade0
4th August 2005, 09:59 PM
Why do you sign your name at the end of your posts? Are spies for the army evil?

Chris Watarimono
5th August 2005, 12:48 AM
Which army do you speak of?

-Chris R.

Fett One
5th August 2005, 02:07 PM
How many armies are there?

Zcade0
5th August 2005, 05:31 PM
Why didn't you know I spoke of the U.S.A. one? Why are there so many armies?

Fett One
6th August 2005, 05:50 PM
Aren't there a lot of armies because each country has one?

Zcade0
7th August 2005, 01:20 PM
Why don't all contries have armies?

Fett One
8th August 2005, 01:21 PM
Aren't some countries forbidden from having armies?

Zcade0
9th August 2005, 01:52 PM
Why do you want to know?

Fett One
9th August 2005, 10:41 PM
What reason could I have for wanting to know?

mr_pikachu
9th August 2005, 11:30 PM
Why don't you tell us?

Zcade0
10th August 2005, 03:05 PM
Yes, why don't you?

Fett One
10th August 2005, 08:35 PM
Is wanting to learn more knowledge a good enough reason?

Chris Watarimono
10th August 2005, 09:13 PM
What if having more knowledge makes more prone to becoming more evil? >)

-Chris R.

Fett One
11th August 2005, 01:49 PM
How does knowledge make one evil?

Knight of Time
11th August 2005, 02:17 PM
How come evil has plenty of knowledge?

Zcade0
11th August 2005, 09:30 PM
Why does knowledge seek out evil people?

Fett One
11th August 2005, 09:58 PM
Why doesn't knowledge seek out good people?

mr_pikachu
12th August 2005, 02:33 AM
What evidence do you have that knowledge doesn't seek out good people? Or that it does seek out evil people, for that matter?

Zcade0
12th August 2005, 06:17 PM
Why dosn't knoledge seek out everyone?

Lady Vulpix
14th August 2005, 11:01 AM
Don't people seek out knowledge rather than the other way around?

Fett One
14th August 2005, 07:20 PM
Does learning something by accident (making a mistake and learning from it) count as seeking out knowledge? If not, then what would that be considered?

Zcade0
14th August 2005, 08:02 PM
Why can't knowledge seek out people? Why does knowledge like to be learned by accsident?

Chris Watarimono
14th August 2005, 11:15 PM
Aren't the greatest inventors of all time accidents?

-Chris R.

Lady Vulpix
15th August 2005, 07:08 AM
What do you mean when you refer to people as accidents?

Knight of Time
15th August 2005, 07:41 AM
Isn't it kinda silly to refer to people as accidents?

Lady Vulpix
15th August 2005, 08:29 AM
Then why did CW do it?

Fett One
15th August 2005, 01:44 PM
Is it possible CW meant "inventions" not "inventors"?

Lady Vulpix
15th August 2005, 03:49 PM
Isn't it amazing how a few letters can change the meaning of a sentence so much?

Zcade0
15th August 2005, 07:51 PM
Isn't amazing how fastly the topicts change here? Why do letters make up a sentence? WHO'S WATCHING THE CASH REGISTER??? (Why did you speak out of questions inside the parentheses?)

mr_pikachu
16th August 2005, 12:45 AM
Is "fastly" a word? Do you instead mean "quickly"? And if the topics change quickly, then why hasn't there been a reply to this topic for almost five hours?

Don't letters make up a sentence because that was how languages were designed to work? Would you perhaps prefer hieroglyphs?

What cash register are you referring to? Is there a reason that we aren't supposed to reply to that? And why wasn't that last part a question?

Does anyone want to try to reply to every one of these questions? Or would that be too much of a hassle?

darktyranitar
16th August 2005, 05:36 AM
Can I just ignore what you guys are saying just now?

Lady Vulpix
16th August 2005, 10:00 AM
Why do you reply if you want to ignore what we're saying? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of ignoring it?

Zcade0
16th August 2005, 01:15 PM
Why is it important?

Fett One
16th August 2005, 01:38 PM
What are you referring to as being "important"?

Zcade0
16th August 2005, 04:15 PM
Why don't you know that I was reffering to Lady Vulpix's post?

mr_pikachu
17th August 2005, 01:33 AM
What part of Gabi's post were you referring to? Don't you realize that there were two separate questions in her post?

Knight of Time
17th August 2005, 01:10 PM
Do you know that two separate questions give two separate answers?

Fett One
17th August 2005, 01:48 PM
Is it possible to answer two separate questions with the same answer?

Lady Vulpix
17th August 2005, 03:51 PM
Haven't you ever done that before?

Zcade0
17th August 2005, 08:37 PM
Done what? Why does it matter how many questions?

mr_pikachu
18th August 2005, 12:21 AM
Don't you realize that we are puzzled as to which question of Gabi's you answered?

Knight of Time
18th August 2005, 07:40 AM
Do you guys realize that some questions can confuse others?

Lady Vulpix
18th August 2005, 08:36 AM
Hasn't that been made clear many times? And why is it that some people tend to become confused a lot more often than others?

Zcade0
18th August 2005, 11:56 AM
Are you confused? Why am I confused? Why do I get confused so easilly?

Lady Vulpix
18th August 2005, 01:22 PM
Have you ever tried thinking carefuly about the things that confuse you? Or asking about them to get more details?

Fett One
18th August 2005, 01:27 PM
What if you can't get more details about the things that confuse you? Will you then have to spend the rest of your life confused?

Knight of Time
18th August 2005, 02:09 PM
Do you know how to avoid confusion most of the time? Will you be able to overcome it if you had it?

Lady Vulpix
18th August 2005, 03:26 PM
What about you?

Zcade0
18th August 2005, 05:57 PM
Why would I need to? Don't you know that confusion lead most great inventers to their best discoveries?

Lady Vulpix
18th August 2005, 06:05 PM
How so? Care to explain?

Fett One
18th August 2005, 07:12 PM
Can he even name one inventor that discovered something due to confusion?

mr_pikachu
19th August 2005, 07:40 PM
What about Albert Einstein? Didn't "E=mc^2" come about when someone with poor handwriting spelled "acme" backwards? Or was that just an old scene from the Animaniacs?

Lady Vulpix
19th August 2005, 08:33 PM
Who else laughed while reading mr_pikachu's post?

darktyranitar
20th August 2005, 01:10 AM
What's so funny about it?

Lady Vulpix
20th August 2005, 09:41 AM
Have you seen that episode of Animaniacs?

Zcade0
20th August 2005, 12:35 PM
Arn't the Animaniacs a show on nicktoons tv?

Lady Vulpix
20th August 2005, 02:00 PM
How can I know? Don't you know TV shows aren't shown on the same channels in different countries?

Knight of Time
20th August 2005, 02:11 PM
Did you also know that some shows are not shown in some countries?

Lady Vulpix
20th August 2005, 03:44 PM
Who in their right mind would believe that every single show in existance can be seen in all countries?

Fett One
20th August 2005, 03:59 PM
How are we suppose to respond to a rhetorical question, since there is no answer?

Lady Vulpix
20th August 2005, 08:43 PM
Which question was rhetorical?

Fett One
20th August 2005, 10:27 PM
Doesn't your previous question count as a rhetorical question?

Lady Vulpix
21st August 2005, 09:15 AM
Doesn't it have an answer, whether that answer is "nobody" or an explanation of why someone could think that?

Chris Watarimono
21st August 2005, 06:50 PM
Why do these rhetorical questions all have to have answers?

-Chris R.

mr_pikachu
21st August 2005, 06:55 PM
Doesn't "rhetorical" mean that the answer is so obvious that it doesn't need to be said?

Fett One
21st August 2005, 10:28 PM
Is it possible that there are people who don't realize what the very obvious answer to a "rhetorical" question is?

mr_pikachu
22nd August 2005, 11:55 PM
Aren't the possibilities for ignorance boundless?

Fett One
23rd August 2005, 01:22 AM
Then how should ignorance be dealt with?

darktyranitar
23rd August 2005, 05:55 AM
When you said dealt it, do you mean the way to deal with an ignorant person? Or how to deal with your own ignorance?

mr_pikachu
23rd August 2005, 06:41 AM
Are you too ignorant to understand the meaning of Fett's ignorance question?

Lady Vulpix
23rd August 2005, 10:46 AM
Does an ignorant know about ignorance?

Can't you teach them about ignorance? Does a person still count as being ignorant if you teach them about it?

mr_pikachu
23rd August 2005, 05:57 PM
Isn't ignorance the absence of knowledge? Since teaching is, in effect, giving knowledge, wouldn't that cancel out the ignorance? Or is that a relative measure rather than an absolute one? (Is there a gray area, or are people simply "ignorant" or "not ignorant"?)

Chris Watarimono
23rd August 2005, 10:13 PM
Would I be considered ignorant for not understanding a single word you just said?

-Chris R.

mr_pikachu
23rd August 2005, 11:00 PM
Isn't it obvious? You did just say you didn't understand, right?

Can a person know that he is ignorant and still be ignorant? And if knowing he is ignorant gives him enough knowledge to not be ignorant, does his not knowing that he is actually not ignorant make him ignorant again?

Fett One

Can a person know that he is ignorant and still be ignorant? And if knowing he is ignorant gives him enough knowledge to not be ignorant, does his not knowing that he is actually not ignorant make him ignorant again?

Does anyone else think that that sounds like a paradox or atleast a catch 22?

mr_pikachu
24th August 2005, 02:13 PM
Wasn't that clearly the purpose of my infinite loop?

Fett One
24th August 2005, 11:11 PM
Was it your intent to make people ignorant by using an infinite loop about ignorance?

mr_pikachu
25th August 2005, 06:55 AM
How would my infinite loop make people ignorant?

Fett One
25th August 2005, 01:57 PM
Wouldn't they be considered ignorant if they couldn't figure out that it is an infinite loop?

Lady Vulpix
25th August 2005, 02:19 PM
Did you know that "you did just say you didn't understand" is not a question? Did you know that adding "right?", at the end of soemething that is ot a question doesn't turn it into a question? And did you know that my brother and I were talking about infinite loops earlier today?

mr_pikachu
25th August 2005, 02:29 PM
Why were you discussing infinite loops? And should I edit the question you mentioned to make it fit under that standard?

Lady Vulpix
26th August 2005, 12:30 PM
How about you just remember it in the future :)?
Should Guille (Kerel) know why we were talking about infinite loops better than me, since he came up with the subject saying infinite loops could only exist in theory?

Knight of Time
26th August 2005, 01:52 PM
Do you guys believe that the talk of infinite loops can be a major source of confusion?

Fett One
26th August 2005, 08:37 PM
How can it be a major source of confusion? Isn't this subject, one that can only cause minor confusion?

mr_pikachu
26th August 2005, 10:20 PM
Why would it be limited to minor confusion?

Lady Vulpix
27th August 2005, 02:39 PM
Can there be a limit to how confused a mind can get?

Knight of Time
27th August 2005, 04:00 PM
Did you guys know that everything and everyone has their own limits?

mr_pikachu
28th August 2005, 03:46 AM
What happens if you break your limits? Isn't that just giving 110%?

Lady Vulpix
28th August 2005, 07:45 AM
Giving 110? of what? And why 110%?

Fett One
28th August 2005, 03:56 PM
Whats wrong with saying a person is giving 110%?

mr_pikachu
28th August 2005, 06:51 PM
Isn't that 10% more than is possible?

Fett One
29th August 2005, 01:52 AM
If it's impossible than why did you suggest it?

mr_pikachu
29th August 2005, 02:05 AM
Don't you realize that it's a common phrase, despite the fact that it doesn't make any sense? Doesn't that seem weird to you?

Lady Vulpix
29th August 2005, 07:31 AM
Don't people usually say things that don't make sense?

mr_pikachu
29th August 2005, 07:34 AM
Why would you say something like that? What evidence do you have to support that opinion?

Lady Vulpix
29th August 2005, 10:40 AM
Haven't you ever heard people say things that made no sense?

Fett One
29th August 2005, 01:14 PM
Are referring to people saying things that make no sense on a regular basis or people who only make no sense once in awhile?

Lady Vulpix
29th August 2005, 01:43 PM
What relevance does that have?

mr_pikachu
29th August 2005, 02:48 PM
Don't you realize that my question was challenging your previous post, which stated that people usually don't make sense?

Fett One
30th August 2005, 07:44 PM
Do you think it would have been easier to understand if you had worded the question differently?

mr_pikachu
30th August 2005, 07:59 PM
What wording would be better?

Knight of Time
31st August 2005, 11:26 AM
If you did different wording on a question, do you think you may have asked a different question?

mr_pikachu
31st August 2005, 02:54 PM
What would be the point of doing that?

Fett One
31st August 2005, 04:59 PM
Does it really need to have a point? What if you did use a different wording and didn't realize that it changes the meaning of the question?

mr_pikachu
31st August 2005, 11:40 PM
Would a person who did that be considered ignorant? And does everyone remember what I am referring to with that question?

Lady Vulpix
1st September 2005, 12:24 PM
Were you referring to our recent discussion about ignorance?

Fett One
1st September 2005, 07:52 PM
How could any body forget about that?

Lady Vulpix
1st September 2005, 08:02 PM
What about people who have a really bad memory?

Knight of Time
2nd September 2005, 09:19 AM
Why talk about people who have a really bad memory?

Lady Vulpix
2nd September 2005, 09:51 AM
What's wrong with talking about them?

mr_pikachu
2nd September 2005, 01:56 PM
Won't they just forget anything we say about them?

Knight of Time
2nd September 2005, 02:41 PM
Does that mean they'll move on in life if they forget anything we say to them?

Fett One
2nd September 2005, 02:55 PM
How could they even live a good life if they can't remember anything that is said to them?

mr_pikachu
2nd September 2005, 03:35 PM
Why would a forgetful person have to have a good life? Can't a person have a miserable life just as easily?

Lady Vulpix
2nd September 2005, 08:17 PM
Wouldn't a forgetful person have more of a neutral life if they forgot good and bad times alike?

mr_pikachu
2nd September 2005, 08:25 PM
Should the quality of a person's life be judged by what they've experienced or only by what they can remember?

Fett One
2nd September 2005, 09:30 PM
How can it be based on experiences if they don't remember those experiences? Since a person wouldn't remember those experiences can they even have quality in there life?

mr_pikachu
2nd September 2005, 09:43 PM
Couldn't they live in the moment?

Lady Vulpix
3rd September 2005, 11:45 AM
Isn't the moment a result of all the events that led to it?

Fett One
3rd September 2005, 07:42 PM
What kind of life can a person live if they can never remember anything?

mr_pikachu
3rd September 2005, 09:34 PM
Would it be an ignorant one? And isn't ignorance bliss?

Chris Watarimono
3rd September 2005, 10:39 PM
Why did you have to bring up the whole ignorance thing again? =\

-Chris R.

Lady Vulpix
4th September 2005, 07:33 AM
Does talking about ignorance make him blissful?
How can ignorant be bliss anyway? Don't we need to know what we're experiencing in order to feel blissful? And even more so, don't we need to know how that is better than other options?

mr_pikachu
4th September 2005, 06:57 PM
Are you suggesting that I am ignorant? And why would you need to know anything in order to be happy? Hasn't it been proven that naive children are happier on average than educated adults?

Fett One
4th September 2005, 08:45 PM
Why would you compare children to adults? Shouldn't you be comparing naive adults to non-naive adults?

mr_pikachu
4th September 2005, 08:48 PM
Is there such a thing as a non-naive adult? Do you have an example of one? And is "non-naive" even a word?

Lady Vulpix
4th September 2005, 09:07 PM
How else would you say it? And what definition of 'naive' are you going by when you question the existance of non-naive adults? Isn't it a wonder how easy it is to fall into semantic discussions?

mr_pikachu
5th September 2005, 04:00 AM
Would my suggestion, "educated" be better than "non-naive"? Doesn't the word naive mean something along the lines of a lack of knowledge, or an abundance of childly innocence?

Why do we end up discussing semantics so much in this game? Does that seem odd to anyone else?

Lady Vulpix
5th September 2005, 08:42 AM
Can't a person be educated and naive at the same time? And don't people who receive no formal education tend to lose their innocence at early ages?

And who knows why semantic discussions are so common?

Fett One
5th September 2005, 11:29 AM
Can't an educated person also lose their innocence at an early? Afterall, doesn't it only take one bad situation to cause a person to lose their innocence?

Could semantic discussions be common because subconsciouly we like to talk about them?

mr_pikachu
5th September 2005, 01:58 PM
Why do you two keep referring to "innocence" as if it refers to matters of a more adult nature? Don't you know that innocence can refer to the wonder and serenity that a child possesses but that an adult cannot? Wouldn't you agree that life experiences can make a person jaded?

Do you like to discuss semantics? Aren't there better things we could be talking about?

Lady Vulpix
5th September 2005, 04:05 PM
Doesn't becoming jaded or not depend on the person?

And aren't we already talking about things other than semantics? Doesn't it feel weird to be having 2 conversations with the same person at the same time, on the same thread?

mr_pikachu
5th September 2005, 04:09 PM
Can't anyone become jaded with enough pressure? And aren't multiple, simultaneous conversations one of the inherent challenges of this game?

Lady Vulpix
5th September 2005, 04:54 PM
Is there any way to tell whether everyone can?
And are the simultaneous conversations inherent to the game, or to us, the players?

mr_pikachu
5th September 2005, 08:31 PM
Could we perhaps test the limits of every single person on the planet? Or would that be too difficult?

Would it be possible to avoid simultaneous conversations if the players were limited to one question per post?

Lady Vulpix
5th September 2005, 08:52 PM
Wouldn't that make the game a lot less fun, though?

mr_pikachu
5th September 2005, 09:25 PM
Would it be worth it if the game was easier to play? Could we perhaps draw more players if we changed the rules in that manner?

Would it be a good idea for me to make another post in this thread today?

Fett One
5th September 2005, 10:51 PM
How isn't this game easy to play? How hard can it possibly be for a person to write a question? What good will changing the rules accomplish anyway?

Knight of Time
6th September 2005, 08:12 AM
Why would anyone want to change the rules, when this game is as good as it is?

Lady Vulpix
6th September 2005, 10:19 AM
Do you think this game is suffering from lack of players right now? Isn't it one of the most active topics in PCG?

Knight of Time
7th September 2005, 04:04 PM
Do you think it makes sense this game is suffering a lack of players indeed? You think this game will remain active?

Fett One
7th September 2005, 05:43 PM
This game has managed to last for 17 versions so why do you think it won't last any longer?

mr_pikachu
7th September 2005, 11:20 PM
Will it last as long as Hangman? Doesn't Hangman have far more versions under its belt?

Lady Vulpix
8th September 2005, 10:00 AM
Isn't this game more fun to play, though?
(And isn't "This game has managed to last for 17 versions" a statement out of a question?)

Knight of Time
8th September 2005, 10:30 AM
Does it matter what game is more fun to play when both games are just as fun as each other?

Lady Vulpix
8th September 2005, 12:25 PM
Haven't you voiced your opinion on the matter by saying both games are as fun as each other?

mr_pikachu
8th September 2005, 02:07 PM
Does that make the first part of Kyle's sentence pointless?

Knight of Time
8th September 2005, 02:12 PM
Why would a sentence I say here be pointless? Doesn't anyone think this game is indeed as good as Pokemon Hangman?

mr_pikachu
8th September 2005, 02:14 PM
Did I call your entire sentence pointless? Didn't you see that I was only referring to a piece of it?

And why are you promoting this game when you're a worker in Hangman?

Lady Vulpix
8th September 2005, 05:45 PM
What's wrong with a Hangman worker promoting this game? Can't people enjoy both games?

mr_pikachu
8th September 2005, 05:58 PM
Did I say he couldn't enjoy both games? Can't you see I'm just trying to get him to give support for the game in which we are workers? Don't you think that's more logical than him overpromoting the one in which we are simply regular players?

Lady Vulpix
8th September 2005, 08:10 PM
Overpromoting? How is he overpromoting it? And isn't everyone a regular player in this game?

mr_pikachu
8th September 2005, 08:12 PM
Doesn't the fact that he has a higher rank over almost anyone else in Hangman give him the responsibility of promoting it, as a leader?

Fett One
8th September 2005, 08:21 PM
How does that give him the right to promote a game? Isn't everyone allowed to a promote a game that they like?

Lady Vulpix
9th September 2005, 01:08 PM
Is there any rule that says the highest ranked player of a game has to promote it, and not promote other games which have no rankigs?
