Where are iTUNES songs stored?

If you import a song into iTUNES, what directory are they stored in? Also how can I make it so it imports songs at a higher bitrate than just 128kps?

They're under My Music->iTunes in my My Documents folder. I dunno if you can make it fast than that. I've never had a problem with the speed.

OK then thanks. And that's not speed it's qaulity that kbps makes a difference to. It makes the file size a little bigger though.

Edit-> Preferences->Importing.

To change bitrate.

You might need to select 'custom' from the dropdown depending on your version.

LOL you can choose 16kbps. Imagine importing a song at that. Anyhoo thanks for that.
