I found the Golden-but dark green..-Zubat !.. Finally, I evolved into Crobat.. it's color turned into pink somehow. 0_0

Shiny Latias is very beautiful. I love it^^ I have RUBY, so maybe I will find shiny Latios? Shiny Latios is cool too (all green). I like shiny Voltorb too. it has nice, blue colour. I didn`t catch shiny pokemon yet (on Ruby), but I hope, that I will find one!

well i don't know the odds for the shinny poke as i haven't even seen a shinny poke yet but i do know that there not as rare as they were in g/s but they are still a hard to find.

1 in 256 is the R/S percent. It is incredibly easier to get a shiny than in GSC, where the chance was 1 in 100000000. I'm exaggerating, but I know it was much more than 1 in 256. Apparently Gamefreak decided more shinies would be more popular, when really it's just more poke's with so-so stats. But you can never go wrong with a sparkly pokemon :D

Each pokemon has their own shiny color? I thought the color of a shiny was random.

Nup, each pokemon ahs a shiney colour...
I think Kecleon is just green with a different coloured band...I'm not sure...it should be purple, or else that one on the anime was seriously screwed up.

In GSC chance of finding a shiny isn't 1 of 100000000 but 1 of 8192, I saw a caught one (Krabby, now lv100 Kingler)
And I never saw a shiny in my Pokemon Ruby >_<

I like the blue Voltorb... The shiny Latias looks fake, like some parts of it were flood-filled in such a way that it doesn't look like it's shaded right.. it just looks weird. How do we know all those are real anyway, you know how easy it is to make those? Look, I made an orange Rakurai! (Yes, I really have nothing better to do with my time.)

I wish all the shiny Pokemon would be completely different colors from the normal color, instead of just a slightly different shade or different-colored markings.. x.x

Anyway, it's good news if shiny Pokemon really are more common.. I never saw ANY shinies in all the countless hours I played GSC.. I know they're not really a lot stronger or anything, but I like having something more unique..

meowth says that shiny status is no longer governed by dvs, and neither is gender or hidden power type, so in theory, it would be possible to have a max stat shiny, but the chances of that are like 1 in 5 billion!!!!
