Arena -
A giant fishbowl. There's a floaty island in the middle for pokemon that can't swim, with a fake palm tree and all. The island is likely to go underwater if too much weight is put on it... At the floor of the fishbowl are nice big blue pebbles, as you'd expect to see in any fishbowl. There's also fake seaweed and some fake treasure chests, ect.

Ok Lulu, lets start off with defensive measures, First use SafeGuard! Then, continue the Defensive streak with Double Team, finally finish off with an Attract.

* Pre Battle *

A large, larger than possible, goldfish bowl. Still smudged from the curious dirty fingers of children, spying on the obscene goldfish that may have once inhabited it. A treasure chest sits on multicoloured gravel, and a cheap plastic fern tree lies embedded in it. On the surface of the crystal clear water floats a small plastic island, with a plastic palm tree. Two trainers sit on the rim of the bowl, while their pokemon wait for battle to start. On one side, floats Lulu a large bodied Lapras, while opposite the island, is the mostly submerged Remoriad, Nickle.

* Round One Begins *

Nickle begins, letting out a high pitched scream. It's high enough to distract Lulu and distract her from performing her commands, but thankfully, it doesn't break the glass. That WOULD have been a bad start to the battle. When the noise stops, Lulu is too busy shaking the ringing out of her head to continue creating a safeguard.

Above the surface of the water, the heavy bodied Lapras shines with a white light. The light fades and three spitting image Lapras now float in the water, each one making the same ripples in the pool. From beneath, five golden stars break through the water, leaving ripples of their own. They shoot up and fly directly into the underside of the pokemon, leaving several small cuts and sending a little blood into the clear water.

Retaliating with mind over force, Lulu dips her fins into the water and lets out a serene cry. Beneath the water, whilst focusing his thoughts and energies, the cry reverbs through the water turning into a beautiful, alluring song. Nickle surfaces to see the ritual attraction dance of the female Lapras taking place, and the small fish immediately swims closer.

Alright then Nickel, let's work with this attraction. Start by using a Lock-On, don't let your love go. If you've now realized this relationship isn't working out, hit her with an Octazooka. Otherwise show off with a Swagger. Hopefully by now you two will have broken up, so use a Rock Blast. If you're still head-over-heels... well, Double Team.

Btw... would Thunder Wave work underwater, or would it electricute both pokemon? O_o; humn.

Alright.. Not bad Lulu.

Start off with A Safeguard, theres nothing really threatening about Lock On. Next, if he uses Octazooka, destroy it and return the favor with an ice beam. If he uses Swagger, just close your eyes and use an icy wind in this fish bowl.
Next if he uses rock blast, then dive under the water to evade it, but if he's still in love, then slam him with a swift.

* Round Two Begins *

Looking up to his true love, Nickle doesn't want to let the beautiful Lapras out of his sight. Using inbuilt targeting that has evolved over countless generations, the Remoraid locks on to her image, watching as a silvery shield washes over her body. Lulu sighs with relief knowing that for the moment she is protected from any effects that might plague her.

Clearly in love, Nickle waits contentedly for his sweetheart to make the next move, which she does so with vigour. From the great pokemon's mouth shoots a massive beam of frost ice energy. The beam slams into Nickle, sending him flying backwards through the bowl, whilst also freezing patches of ice on the pool's surface. The small fish realises that true love was never meant to be, and spits his own attack back, a condensed ball of water laced with black ink. It hits Lulu square in the chest, sending black ink spreading out all around the pokemon obscuring the bottom of the pool.

Ever more intent on attacking, Nickle swims down below the surface and heads for the neon coloured rocks at the bottom of the bowl. Lulu tries to see where he's gone, but the Ink is still to thick to make out anything. The Remoraid flicks three small rocks up out of the others, then uses his tail to blast them up through the water at high speed. His Lapras had no clue they were heading for her underbelly until they struck in quick succession causing her to howl in pain.

Alright... Lapras lets use a thunderwave in that water. Since your safe from any status defects. Next, fling Remoraid out of the water with Psychic and onto the island. Then finish up with a Powerful thunder.

If you still can't find Remoraid with Psychic, then climb onto the island, and eletricute the water with a Thunder.

Great job hun, keep it up! Now, first Protect yourself from that thunder wave. Then use a Psychic of your own, to get Lapras to swallow as much water as y'can. And finish off by Jumping onto the island.
If Lapras can't find you with psychic and goes onto the island instead, use an Octazooka to her eyes.

* Round Three Begins *

Lulu aims for the murky depths of the pool below. Charging up energy she fires a condensed circle of electrical energy into the water, than immediately begins to spread out as it touches the surface. The Lapras feels a slight tingle as some of the leaked energy hits her, but not enough to cause any harm. Nickle on the other hand sees the incoming attack and erects a bubble of energy around himself, that absorbs the attack in an instant.

Unable to tell how successful the attack was, Lulu contemplates her next move. The bowl is huge, and it would be difficult to search it all with Psychic to find her foe. She grudgingly accepts that it would take too long and climbs onto the small floating island. Just as she makes herself comfortable, her head is suddenly thrust underwater by an unseen force. Swallowing water isn't really that big a deal for a water pokemon, but the force on her neck leaves her feeling a little strained.

Now fearing the worst of an insulated Lapras, Nickle swims straight up as fast as possible, leaping out of the water and onto the island behind Lapras. Just in time too, as a massive discharge of electrical energy strikes the pool, sending electricity running through the entire pool, melting the ice on the surface and causing the ink to disperse out leaving a dirty look to the water. Unfortunately for Nickle, being a fish out of water isn't a good move, and he immediately begins gasping, unable to breath properly.

*Coughs* Uhm. If Lapras can breath out of water, and Remoraid can't, then she is a mammal, nein? Which means swallowing water IS a big deal, regardless of what type of pokemon she is. >>; For example, a dolphin can drown. Even a fish can drown, and fishes breath water, but yeah. <<;

Anyhow. Use a Dive to get back in the water. Use Octazooka to her eyes and finish with Psybeam.

If she goes underwater, use Rock Tomb. If she uses an electric attack (cept thunder wave), use Psychic to drag her into the water too- or if that's too hard flip the island over.

Plus a small fish would not be able to hold a massive creature like Lapras under the water long enough to do so, without taking up more than one turn and exerting a lot of energy.

Alright lapras! Lets show this fish what where made of!

AFTER Remoraid has dived into the water, pull him back out again and fling him back into the island with psychic, and before he can use octazooka, Slam your body down onto of that fish. Finally, before he can use Psybeam shock that little fish with Thunder.

But if you can get a hold of him with Psychic turn your head away while he uses octazooka, and just zap the water with Thunderwave while not looking... Finally if or first plan doesn't work, while he uses Psybeam, return the favor by redirecting it with Psychic.

* Round Four Begins *

Nickle flops off the edge of the island and finally into the water where he begins to swim down to the bottom of the bowl. Unfortunately for him, he spent a little too long flipping and flopping to get off the island, giving Lulu ample time to get a firm psychic grip on him. His descent slows and he is suddenly thrown up out of the pool, where upon he lands, right back down on the novelty island. The Lapras smirks down at him, and through gasps for breath, the Remoraid passes a comment about her having a fat ass.

Slightly irked, Lulu slides up to the fish out of water and throws the entire weight of her body onto the fish, squashing it totally under her blubber, she retorts something about how he likes it now. The ref is quite disturbed. Underneath all that weight, there is little to nothing Nickle can do, and there's no chance of him breaking free.

Finally, Lulu backs off and her body begins to spark. Before the little blue fish can retaliate, it is struck over and over by a continuous stream of highly charged bolts of lighting. Finally the attack comes to an end, and while he turns to send an angry attack back at his foe, he finds his body betrays him, paralysed by the residual effects of the lightning.
