So, what did you think about the awards?

My thoughts? One, Desperate Housewives got WAY too many nominations for Best Writing, Comedy Series and Best Actress, Comedy Series. Two, having two categories called "Writing, Variety, Music or Comedy Program" and "Variety, Music or Comedy Series" was like giving a free Emmy to Jon Stewart. Wait, I'm sorry; it was giving a free Emmy to Jon Stewart.

EDIT: Corrected a few of the statistics.

Desperate Housewives is trash and anyone who watches it ought to be gassed.

Heh, Mr. Shatner won an Emmy, haven't even seen him in a movie or series in ages. Nice to learn he's still out there somewhere.

Maybe one of these days I'll also understand what people like so much about "Lost". Would have been a nice show, the idea is decent. But oh no, there had to be something mysterious and spoooky in the jungle. That's when it started to get retarded. They should have remained focusing solely on the different charactes and their interactions with each other and after season one they get rescued and all's well.

I am happy that the Daily Show earned some more Emmies. Jon Stewart is the only liberal I can always watch and enjoy.

I flicked on to Desperate House Wives one evening and found it to be some of the dullest viewing of my likfe. Once this kicked in I immediatley turned over.

Scrubs should have won the comedy award although Raymond is good and Lost beating 24? I dont think so...Jack Bauer Power 4 lyf!!
