Do you know if there is any plan to bring the good old Super Mario 64 to Nintendo Gamecube?

Nope.

But Nintendo plans on letting you download old games from the NES to the Gamecube on your Nintendo 64. Considering how big of a deal Mario 64 was back in the day, I'd imagine it would be among the first games up for download.

If you cannot wait that long, then pick up the remake on the Nintendo DS. It is a souped-up remake with new characters and a couple new areas and extra stars to get, as well as addictive minigames. If you want the original experience, however, you'll either have to wait for the Revolution or start hitting up eBay.
