Stupid Question

Hey, this is probably a really basic question but I'll fire away anyway.

I just bought a Packard Bell laptop andwhen I go onto Internet Explorer the bar with the standard buttons on it is actually purple. Any way that I can change this colour cuz it's pretty ugly. I've already tried IE Options > Colours but it didn't change :/

Is it just IE, or does it affect other programs as well? If that's the color for all your programs, then your settings for Windows are messed up, not IE. That or your screen display is really bad.

I'm not the best at IE, mostly because I haven't used it in ages. I know that Firefox has a Tools -> Themes option that you can select; if there's something similar on IE, that might help. Unfortunately, I don't dare open IE to check, because the last time I did that my computer started having all sorts of weird problems and I had to do a hard shutdown. I don't really want to do that again. :P
