Wow, that is a hard question to answer. I like so many of their songs. I'll just post a few.

Lovely Rita
Rocky Racoon
Taxman
Eleanor Rigby
When I'm Sixty-Four
Lady Madonna

They have so many good songs, and overall I'd have to say they were the best band period IMO.

Wow, not a single Lennon song? Not a lot of people actually realise how good McCartney's songs were, he doesn't seem to get as much credit cos he's still alive.

Like I said, I like many others. I just listed the first few that popped into my head. I'll post some more.

The Ballad of Yoke and John (I'm not sure of the order of those names)
We Can Work It Out
Across the Universe
Revolution

I know a ton of them. Yeah it's true, he doesn't get as much credit as he deserves. Which is a shame, because he had(has?) an excellent voice.

When I'm Sixty-Four
Elanor Rigby

They're both really relaxing to listen to. I was considering "Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite!," but that was just because I basically taught myself piano chords with it.

Hey Jude
I Saw Her Standing There
I Feel Fine

I like just about anything they play though. And I like a lot of George Harrison's solo stuff, oddly enough O_o;.

The Beatles are somewhere among my favourite classic rock bands of the 60's, but there are so many songs of theirs I like, I'm going to pick 5 of my biggest faves, in no particular order:

Money (That's What I Want) (note: I've heard two versions of this song. One version has piano in it, the other one is in their first anthology, and doesn't have piano AFAIK)
Three Cool Cats
Do You Want to Know a Secret
Rock and Roll Music
Chains

As you guys can see, I like their earlier songs, but just slightly over their later songs, like Hey Jude, Yesterday, etc.

- Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band

Can you guess which album is my favorite?

Is that supposed to be one of those really obvious things cos theyre all from different albums...
Eleanor Rigby=Revolver
I Am The Walrus=Magical Mystery Tour
Sgt Pepper=Sgt Pepper
Hey Bulldog=Wasn't an album track as far as I know.

But if you want my answer I'll say The White Album, I love Revolution 1 and Helter Skelter.

Eleanor Rigby > * but I'm also fond of Helter Skelter and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band too (and, in a way, Help! but this may be because of a really silly cover version by aging UK punk/goth band The Damned).

I can't believe no one has put "I'm Only Sleeping" on their list. That song ROCKS.

I've always had a soft spot for "Yesterday," "Something," "Let it be," and "The Long and Winding Road."

I love the Beatles. Even though they don't really stand out as much compared to other music I listen to today, they alone are what got me into music in the first place.

I see that many of us here on the forum really enjoy the yellow submarine. We all live in a yellow submarine... Anyways, the yellow submarine is probably one of the most popular songs that the beatles sing, not just to us, but to the world too.

Most people I know find it annoying.
