Is the GBA Action Replay compatible with the DS?

This is confusing me. The DS Action Replay has just been released. yet the DS is backwards compatible, shouldn't the GBA Action Replay work for the DS as well?

You see, the GBA Action Replay I used for my old Ruby @ Sapphire is no longer recognised by my DS.
Anybody else having this problem? Is the solution to purchase the new DS Action Replay?

I doubt it would work, quite frankly. The DS is compatible with GBA games, yes. However, most of the equipment (link cables, plug-in lights, etc.) for the GBA will not work on a DS. So you're probably just going to have to use your old GBA whenever you want to use the Action Replay. That is, if you still have it. Hopefully you haven't sold your GBA or something.
