I'm currently in the process of making a website for all my artwork, web comics and prose. I've made (well planned and made the important bits) most of the layout for the site. But I want to spice my banner up a bit. I want a simple animated text effect. In other words some flash. Now I'm not very experienced in flash. I can do a bit of it but not much. My web design doesn't stetch much further than html, css, and some javascript. Does anyone know a link or perhaps if it's not as hard as I think a quick explanation of doing just a nice simple text effect for when my page loads (just something like the writing in the banner appearing in some sort of nice way) please? If it helps I'm using flash professional 8. Thanks for your time.
