i want to creat a game thats based around me, as an emperor.Its only one more step up the pokemon hierachy. Players would begin with a choice of 1 of all 9 starter pokemon, or pikachu, sandshrew or clefairy. The player would have to beat my top lv100 team to win the game.The story would be something to do with the legend of raikou (who for some reason features in less films than entei), involving a war with another island who use fire types. The island would also include new hm's, a mode for fly (a bit like there is for dive, but above ground) and other encore activities.

the players also have the choice of going it solo or play the game to be played via wireless connection, a bit like runescape. I know its near impossible due to the range of a wireless connector but who cares.

The journey starts from Haapavesi, and that's where your rival from Ylivieska also gets his/her Pokémon. In the map, I marked the routes with numbers 10-49.

And your Pokédex/Pokégear/Pokénavi includes a thermometer. The colder it gets, the more likely are you to meer Articuno, who naturally lives in Finland.

Funny that someone posted a thread like this because I came up with just such an idea that I hope to make into a fanfic.

First of all, the region will be based roughly off of the Chesapeake Bay area in and near Maryland, and will include some of the 100 or so pokemon I made up. As for towns and gym leaders...

Since this might become a fic, you can consider these to be slight SPOILERS!

Seacon Town (based off of Stevensville, MD (my home town)):
Leader: Lucille
Theme: none really, but she does have a Marreep and a Whismur, and their final forms could both be used to signal to ships...

Naville City (Annapolis, MD)
Leader: ?
Theme: Pokemon of the high seas

Bayport City (Baltimore, MD)
Leader: Edgar
Theme: Edgar Allen Poe's works (like Duskull for Masque of the Red Death, Murkrow for The Raven, etc.)

Theme: "Patriotic" pokemon

Theme: Farm-related Pokemon (like Grumpig, Miltank)

Pokemon U.K

Begins: Sky Island (one of the small islands above Scotland).
Professor: Professor Lochland
This is a small Island. The Professor is kidnapped and taken by a group of evil-doers. You take one of the Pokeballs on his desk to pursue him, bumping into wife. She asks if you have seen anybody go by. If you answer boy, your rival is a boy. If girl, girl. This is the professor and his wifes child. They appear with a Pokemon, and the three of you sail after the professor on his wife's Lapras. You arrive at the tip of Scotland.


In CoS you find the professor has been taken to an old warehouse where you must fight the gang with your rival in a double match. Once he is saved, he gives you and your rival a Pokedex each and asks you to investigate the events of these thugs. He gives you a Voice Checker (similar to a Fame Checker) which he found at the warehouse. The voice is distorted and needs fixed. A scientist in the next town might help.

First is the Gym:

Badge: The Frosted Thistle (A scottish thistle witha glazed, icy look)


Your rival watches the match and is impressed, but decides to go to the next Gym as s/he was not assigned with the voice checker. It is clear s/he is displeased.

SoulflameNinetales has a point making a pokemon game of the whole world would own. I mean I would buy it because there would be so many things to do in it. Like one minute be in Australia and then like fly to Japan or somewhere else. Decent idea though
