Dark Dragonite
27th March 2006, 03:59 PM
This is my last battle for now, all the others are just starting, and I would like to challenge another vet...

Knight of Time
27th March 2006, 05:39 PM
Hmm, why not.

I have a few Pokemon here I can use who cannot evolve, so if you want Steve, I could battle you (but if not, that's okay; though I do want to battle you someday when your team is built up a bit more).

What do you say?

Dark Dragonite
27th March 2006, 05:47 PM
Sure, Konspiracy Theory :p, I'd love to battle you, and of course, when I build up my team again too!!
Any preferences on rules, arenas, how many pokes?

RaZoR LeAf
28th March 2006, 07:31 AM
I'll ref for you if that's ok

Knight of Time
28th March 2006, 07:41 AM
I'm fine with you reffing RaZoR LeAf.

For the rules, I'd prefer we use two or three Pokemon in this battle (as you may have noticed in my sig Steve, only one of my Pokemon has yet to evolve at all, and that's my Cyndaquil).

As for the arena, I suppose Indigo Stadium will do, and 1 week sounds like a reasonable DQ time.

Oh, could we agree to not use Substitute, Rest, Attract or any cheap moves (e.g. Perish Song, Destiny Bond) please?

You can decide who chooses first, Steve.

Dark Dragonite
28th March 2006, 10:11 AM
I agree to those rules, hopefully, I won't find any hidden cheap moves, lol...
3V3 is good, all out at once, or 1 at a time?
I'll release first, you attack first this round.
Oh, and my abra defeated houndour and houndoom when I first came around, so it's no biggie if some of your pokes are evolved.

Knight of Time
28th March 2006, 11:08 AM
Well, I've had a few battles where I simultaneously used three of my Pokemon (one was against RaZoR LeAf, another was against Jeff/TheBlueAvenger, and the third one is against Amy/Wolfsong), but for this battle, I think I'd prefer using one at a time for once.

Okay, can you send out your first Pokemon please?

Dark Dragonite
28th March 2006, 12:24 PM
Sounds good, Go, Feizhi!!(Kangaskahn)

Knight of Time
28th March 2006, 02:20 PM
Ooh, a Kangaskhan is a tough opponent to start with, so I suppose I'll have to start with an equally hard opponent.

Go Rika!

Rika, is my female Zangoose.

Okay Rika, let's start this round off with some distractions for Feizhi, first I want you to Taunt her, then I want you to make things more confusing for her with a Double Team. Finish with a good Giga Drain.

Oh BTW, Steve, can you edit the topic title as soon as possible please?

Dark Dragonite
28th March 2006, 06:07 PM
Ok Feizhi, Start with Disabling your opponent from doing anything, Rain dance those clones away, then Seismic Toss Zangoose...If you become enraged, let's use it, Let out an all out Rage(RageX3)...

*thinks: We will probably end up with a Chansey V Blissey round, lol*

* Pre-Battle *

Indigo Stadium is today being polished and prettified, as it sees the return of an old ASB veteran, about to take on, another vet, who's been hiding around for some time already. With two big names taking the stands to battle, a big crowd has turned up, with people from far and wide looking to see the outcome. Knight of Time is already in his trainer box, waiting for his opponent to show up. The crowd roars, as the second trainer box springs to life, shutters opening to reveal Dark Dragonite inside. DD waves to the crowd, but wastes no time releasing his pokemon, a bulky female Kangaskhan by the name of Feizhi. KoT nods in approval, and throws his own pokemon into the arena. A female Zangoose named Rika appears, and circles around on the spot like most felines do, before stopping to face her opponent. The two pokemon stare at each other, as the trainer boxes are raised above the arena. The crowd start to count down, and as they shout "THREE, TWO, ONE.." the battle begins.

Facing off, Feizhi roars, throwing her clawed hands out towards Rika, a red-bronze light emanating from the palms. As a similar light starts to form around the Zangoose, she begins spouting insults and curses that several of the pokemon in the audience either understand or find so offensive their cheers and slurs can be heard over the human supporters. Feizhi hears the words too, and insulted, she stops what she was doing. Still, what she managed to accomplish was to leave a twinge of pain on Rika's mind, and any attempts to perform a Taunt again, would leave her in an awkward position.

Both annoyed and pleased at the same time, Rika curls down onto all four legs and bares her fangs. A light surrounds her, then splits off in two opposite directions. The light forms the shapes of two more Zangoose, all perfectly identical in every way. The three clones run around each other, at speeds so blinding it's impossible for anyone to tell which is the real Rika. Feizhi grumbles, then lets out a deafening roar. What sounds like an answering roar comes from the heavens, as thunder rolls across the once cloud free sky. Dark billowing clouds appear, and rain quickly begins to fall. As the heavy drops of water strike Rika's copies, they both burst into light and dissolve away, leaving Rika seriously pissed off.

Sprinting forward and diving at the Kangaskhan, Rika chomps down on Feizhi's shoulder the moment she makes contact. As her sharp teeth pierce the brown leathery skin, wisps of green energy seem to surround her, as energy and health seep out of the wound, only to be absorbed into Rika. Feizhi howls in pain, and reaches up for the feline with her free arm. Grabbing the cat behind the neck, she pulls her away, grunting at the pain of the fangs being yanked out. Feizhi spins around on the spot, using the increased momentum to throw Rika back where she started, lying on the ground beneath her trainer's box. Clutching her wound, Feizhi is pleased to see the wisps of green energy blown away by the rain, and the wounds sealing themselves back up.

We're take it a tad cautious this round, something tells me KoT has something up his sleeve...If Rika tries to get near and uses a physical attack, Counter it, if Rika tries anything else, give her a good Ice Beam, but if she tries Toxic, try to give it a good icy wind to freeze and or blow it back.
(Counter/Ice Beam 1-3X Sub:Icy Wind)

Knight of Time
30th March 2006, 02:12 PM
Okay Rika, this calls for trying Feizhi to use Ice Beams on you, but we can handle them.

Protect yourself well from Feizhi's Ice Beams with a couple of Swords Dances, then do your best to dodge her third Ice Beam (if you can get her to use three of them, that is), and use that boost of power to smack her in her aching shoulder with a fast and fierce Crush Claw (which hopefully should be impossible to Counter since it's the third action).

Dark Dragonite

It may be a bit hard to get her to fire a third ice beam if she's waiting to see what Rika does before she uses her third attack...

After last round, both pokemon are a little grumpy but no more worse for wares than they were at the star of the battle. Feizhi stamps her feet, ready to battle. She rears back, and sends a beam of white energy out of her mouth. Quickly following the beam is a rush of ice and chill, that catches up with the tail of the attack, making the attack a blast of pure cryogenic energy. Rika raises her claws, as if to defend, but then starts spinning around, raising her abilities to attack. The beam strikes her mid spin, but only pushes her into a firmer tighter spin.

Feizhi roars, and fires yet another Ice Beam at her foe. The attack collides with Rika again, but this time manages to knock her out of the attack, leaving her slightly dizzy and with a layer of frost and icy over one arm. With it frozen, it's movement is diminished, making it a little harder to manoeuvre about like her other arm. Feizhi grins, her double attack having proved mildly successful. Despite the success, the falling rain helped to slowly melt the ice.

Rika groans and prepares to run at her opponent. Feizhi sees her foe about to make a move and holds off on sending another freezing attack out. But it's that attack Rika is waiting for. Neither pokemon do anything and the crowd start to jeer and throw cans. Finally, Rika gives in to instinct and launches herself forward, slamming the back of her claw into Feizhi's stomach. The Kangaskhan doubles over in pain, but uses the brunt force to fuel a counter attack, grabbing the Zangoose and throwing her around and backwards into the ground.

Hi, sorry to keep you guys waiting.

Rika, at this point, I'm going to need you to take advantage of the rainfall, so first, start off by using Thunder Wave until you are successful in paralyzing her. Since she's Taunted, she shouldn't be able to block with Safeguard. Finally, if you have any room left, blast Feizhi with as many Thunderbolts as possible.

I decided to ask my foe if Protect is on the "cheap move" list?
If it is, I have another battle plan to foil his.

Knight of Time

No Steve, Protect isn't on my list of cheap moves in this battle (and neither is Detect).

Dark Dragonite
18th April 2006, 05:54 PM
Ok Feizhi, since your foe isn't too close, and the description of Twave is: "Thunder Wave: The user sparks violently in the immediate area around itself. If these sparks hit the opponent, they will probably provoke electrical seizures. Trivial damage. Good accuracy.", I want you to Dig away from your foe, as the ground will negate electricity anyway. Then Sing your foe to sleep. If asleep, use EQuake, if awake, use Swagger.

* Round Three Begins *

Her body aching, Feizhi desperately tries digging into the muddy ground. She manages to move a lot of mud, despite her progress slowed somewhat by her aching arm. Rika attacks, before her opponent is too far underground or covered in mud. Putting her claws together, she pulls them quickly apart sending a stream of short bursts of white electricity at her opponent. Though some of the sparks are interrupted by flying mud, the most hit their target thanks to the conductivity of the rain and sink themselves into Feizhi's muscular system, leaving the mother pokemon suddenly paralysed and unable to continue digging.

Grinning, Rika copies her moves almost exactly, but this time sending more than just a little electrical energy out. Several long and jagged lines of lightning shoot out, each one jum[ping from drop to drop and finding it's target, causing Feizhi to squeal from the sharp pain. As the attack dies away, the Kangaskhan calms her nerves and focuses on what she was told to do. Letting her maternal nature take over, she begins to sing a deep and caring song, the kind that would send even the most troublesome of children to sleep. Though not a child, the song brings back memories of Rika's childhood, in the ASB playpens. She is gradually lulled to sleep, letting Feizhi stop her song and climb out of her half dug hole.

With Rika curled up on the floor, gently snoozing away despite the rain falling around her, Feizhi groans, feeling her body betraying her wishes. She forces herself to work through it, pulling strength into her, she slams her tail hard into the ground. The resulting impact sends waves of seismic energy rippling across the arena. The ground shakes and mud and stone fly everywhere. As the ripple hits the sleeping Zangoose, it lifts her up into the air and crashing back down, the force waking Rika instantly, and letting her land on her feet, albeit a little disorientated.

Feizhi, since Rika is disoriented, try to Ice Beam it's feet to the ground, if it works, try to use Ice beam twice more to cover it's legs/torso frozen.
If it doesn't work, I want you to Protect from any electric attacks, and counter any physical ones.

Knight of Time
8th May 2006, 12:29 PM
Rika, you shouldn't be too disoriented from Feizhi's Earthquake, so I want you to jump clear of her Ice Beam, then I want you to blast her with a couple of Thunderbolts, but don't make them too strong.

Right now, the top priority, if possible Rika, is making Feizhi too tired to battle.

Edit: Just a typo, that's all.

Well, that would be a good plan if she weren't disoriented from being put to sleep, then woken up by the earth moving and landing on her feet, so on feet, sleep, wake up landing on feet, I would find that very confusing/disorienting

With both pokemon now getting stuck into the battle, both combatants decide it's time to move into a new phase of direct attacking. Still slightly disorientated by the Earthquake, Rika is unable to focus and perform an attack properly giving Feizhi an opening to attack. A beam of white light, swiftly followed by a blast of freezing ice slams into the lower half of the Zangoose, leaving the once partially frozen pokemon with more than a little frost on her legs. Massive clumps of what look like snow are now hanging off her fur, making her ability to move severely diminished.

With the cold snap bringing her back to reality, Rika stands her ground and clicks her claws together, creating heavy sparks. The sparks jump through the air, riding on the back of the last of the falling rain, and slam into Feizhi's hide. The Kangaskhan, still feeling the dying effects of the Taunt, roars in pain, but is determined not to let anything like that happen again.

Rika follows suit, sending out another bolt of electricity. As the sparks of lightning shoot forward, Feizhi throws her hands up to block the attack, and every single jolt of energy collides with an invisible field. Protecting herself perfectly, Feizhi is most pleased the effect of the taunt has finally faded, but realises at the same time, her opponent is probably no longer disabled. Never the less, she lets the shield drop, pleased that she has survived a round without over exerting herself.

Okay Rika, things are getting serious now.

I don't know if you'll be able to make this attempt to get yourself out of your icy prison, but we still have to try. Use as many Flamethrowers as you can to try and escape the ice, and if you have any moves left, aim more Flamethrowers at Feizhi.

[u] Pre-Battle

~Round 1 Start~

The battle is slowly starting to begin again, as a blonde female referee (who was bribed by a dozen chocolate cookies, thank you very much.) takes the place of the former. Pulling up a chair (and setting the cookies onto a small foldout table) she nods once, signaling the battle to resume.

The Zangoose immediately breathes in, fire coursing up through her throat and out her mouth. She tries to aim carefully, and make it less hot and powerful – as the fire will burn her – aiming a stream of the concentrating flames at her lower body onto the ground. The snow in front is vaporized immediately from the intense heat, and even the back of her (which has not been touched directly by flames) melts significantly because of the strong waves of heat. Still, despite how careful she was, she can’t help but hiss in pain at the small scorch marks that lie willy nilly along her lower body. However, she’s satisfied.

Feizhi has not been idle, trying to pull up a huge glob of poison. The paralysis is making it very hard to conjure such a toxic mixture, but she uses everything she has to make the Toxic force its way out of her throat, spitting it at the cat with obvious trouble. The poison spatters onto the Zangoose, who cries out in extreme irritation, trying to rid herself of the poison that are seeping into the burned parts of her skin that are less covered by fur. But she can’t undo the effects just like that.

Absolutely furious (as her kind prides herself in being rather poison resistant due to their speed) Rika takes in another deep breath, yowling as she spurts out another long wave of white-hot flames with a vengeance. The flames impact Feizhi, who snarls as the flames wash over her skin, burning painfully. She tries her best to conjure up a Shockwave, to shock the stupid cat into oblivion, but even as the first show of sparks begins to surge around her body, her muzzles tense up immediately. The use of the electric-type move does not help the Kangaskhan at all, and Fezhei is forced to merely glower at her opponent, who smirks in return.

The Zangoose attacks again with another Flamethrower – though her aim is slightly off as the poison takes its painful hold, half-hitting half-missing Feizhi’s left side.

Angered, yet amused at seeing her poison take hold, the large, muscular kangaroo tries once more to use another electric attack. The yellow tendrils swirl around Feizhei’s body, making her muscles tense painfully – but even so, the Kangaskhan manages to harness the electric power, and toss a handful of tiny, yellow sparks at her opponent. Still shaking off the unpleasant pain with the Toxic, Rika tries vainly to dodge, but is hit as a few sparks travel up her feet and into her body, riddling it with unpleasant shocks.

Rika, don't let Feizhi get away with making clones of herself, destroy her clones with a cold Icy Wind, then, use a Swords Dance to try and block her Thunderbolt, finally, use that increased attack power as effectively as possible by giving the Kangaskhan a fierce Dynamicpunch to her head while doing your best to go around her Ice Beam. [u] ~Round 5 Start~

Rika waits, keen slitted eyes watching her opponent, enjoying a few moments of brief respite while the Kangaskhan gathers her energy, concentrates, and begins to glow white. It takes only moments for her real body to phase, and conjures two identical clones. Immediately, the Zangoose raises up her paw, calling forth a gust of chilling, artic wind. Feizhi can’t help but shiver as the knife-sharp cold penetrates her bones to their very marrow while her clones wither away, falling victim to the wind.

The Zangoose doesn’t waste any time, going into fast spinning motions, concentrating her energy and focusing it. Round and round she goes, a spinning whir of pink and white. Being some distance away, the Kangaskhan grunts, and summons a Thunderbolt attack. Her muscles protest at the use of the electric move, but relent, sending the yellow energy at the spinning cat. The attack hits, splitting into all directions as the vortex wards most of the energy away, only taking a light amount of damage herself.

With the attack gone, the cat-ferret Pokémon slows down in her spin, feeling greatly focused and, though her energy is getting to be dangerously low, energized. The Zangoose begins to run on two feet rather than four, focusing all the energy she has into her paw. It begins to glow, and Feizhi, knowing exactly what that attack is and what it can do, knows she has to stop it.

Growling at the approaching target, getting closer and closer, she decides to go with the close range move: Ice Punch. Slowly, she begins to chill her fist, watching the cat through deadly, narrowed eyes. She pulls the fist back, ready to hit once the Zangoose is in range ---

The Zangoose leaps forward, her battle-worn body ready to strike. Feizhi, too knows it’s time to strike, and even as she tries to muster the force to launch the attack, her muscles tighten, and she finds herself unable to move… she can’t defend against it!

The punch hits the kangaroo on the side of the chin – Rika, still a bit short compared to the hulking behemoth, was unable to get as high as she needed to for the blow to the head. Nevertheless, the punch, powerful as it was, sends the poor Kangaskhan reeling in pain and confusion, having been damaged heavily from the powered-up punch. Rika, meanwhile, lands on all fours, breathing hard, feeling a bit exhausted from the attacks of which she had just preformed. She shudders, gasping as the poison once again takes its hold, this time, a bit more painful… and a bit more powerful.

And it’s not going to get any better.

Hang on Steve, I first have to post in another battle that I'm only hours away from being DQed in, so there's still time in this one. I'll edit this post later.

Eit: Okay, Rika, this may be the last round for you if your energy runs out, but we gotta make sure we can at least make an attempt to have Feizhi knocked out in the same round as well.

Do your best to chill out and regain necessary energy (enduring or dodging anything that might come your way from the Kangaskhan) on your first action, then give Feizhi a Dynamicpunch. Finally, if the kangaroo is unable to attack on her third action or is chilling out, give her a massive (and I mean MASSIVE, as wide as possible) Hyper Beam, if not, go back to being ready to dodge or endure what comes at you third. It may be a bit cheap, and a bit suicidal as well, but we gotta make sure that if you fall, that she falls too.

Chill/dodge/endure ~ Dynamicpunch ~ Hyper Beam (if Feizhi's paralysis kicks in, or if she tries to chill out) OR Chill/dodge/endure (if Feizhi uses an attack w/o her muscles locking up on her)

Just so you know, i don't Ref Pokémon being KOed via energy loss. I follow Hyperness' (and a few other people's) examples, by merely having a Pokémon mandatorily taking a turn to gain back energy. She'd be "incapacitated" by fatigue, but not knocked out, she'd just have to rest to gain back energy.

What? What do you mean you don't ref a Pokemon being KOed when it loses all its energy?

Saffire Persian, I don't mean to be pushy, but in ASB, I was sure a Pokemon always faints when it's too exhausted to battle. I'm surprised a Pokemon can sometimes keep going even when it's too exhausted, but I'm afraid this doesn't make enough sense to me.

You're free to post. If you want me to Ref the energy loss as a KO, that's fine with me. I just thought it was a nicer way to Ref things, and a couple of other Refs do it and I quite liked their way of thinking, as I've heard that there are a ton of battles that end in energy loss where the battlers still have quite a bit of HP.

Sorry if I offended you or something. ^^' I just thought it would be something that people who I reffed for would like, as energy often goes faster than HP.

Well, Since Rika will be so busy deciding whether to dodge or endure your attack, let's use the arena to our advantage with a Mud-slap. Hopefully, Rika's aim will be off, but you can use the force against her with a Counter if she's about to hit you, if she is nowhere near you, or not going to connect with her punch, use an ice beam, hopefully aimed at her mouth/head. Now, if she is somehow able to fire at you, Endure it, hopefully, she goes down...if she isn't able to attack you, Focus Punch.

[u] ~Round 5 Start~

Round six starts with an obvious lull. Both players in this game of battle are tired and hurt. Each one bears their own battle scars, and know it’s only a matter of time before both of them hit the dirt.

Rika chooses to chill, turning around so that her back faces the opponent – as she knows she’s about to get decked by mud. She doesn’t bother to try and dodge, lowering herself down to all fours and taking a much needed rest to store energy for her next attack. Feizhi, in somewhat better shape than the cat, scoops up a wad of mud off the ground before tossing it at the resting animal. It hits, splattering all over Rika’s fur and doing a small amount of damage.

With her time of rest over Rika stands up, shaking as much of the mud off her fur as she can, before springing forward on all fours, rushing at high speed. Her paw’s raised, and Feizhi waits, eyes narrowed, to counter the blow. As soon as Rika’s paw touches her chest, the Kangaskhan reacts, smashing her own fists into Rika’s unprepared body. The feline hits the ground like a broken doll, her breathing ragged.

Rika slowly raises herself onto her feet again. The cat Pokémon can tell that Feizhi has full control of her muscles. Too exhausted to do much more, she chills out once more. Feizhi roars in feral triumph as her fists inflict a Focus Punch down on the tired feline. The feline hits the ground like a broken doll...

...but this time she doesn’t get back up.

Venus, immediately put up a Safeguard to block off the Toxic and Sing before they can reach you (this is crucial for when your next opponent comes out, if you're poisoned, we're in a lot of trouble!), then simply use as little energy as possible to dodge the Secret Powers. Make sure they never hit you, Venus, and let's hope Feizhi KOs herself from exhaustion.

Newly arrived on the battle field, Knight of Time’s Blissey, Venus, surveys the muddy arena through narrowed eyes. She focuses slowly on the Kangaskhan. So this was the Pokémon who took down her courageous Zangoose comrade.

Readying herself, the Blissey stands at attention. Her body expands a bit like a balloon, a wispy veil of holy white surrounding her body, making it come alight with an unearthly glow. Feizhi, meanwhile, is nearing the end of her endurance, panting as she hurls a glob of sticky, purple poison at the determined Blissey. It splatters off the Safeguard harmlessly, and Feizhi mutters in dissapointment.

With Safeguard up, singing is no longer an option. Eyes growing determined, she summons up a beam of white colored energy in her mouth, laced with a purple hue. The Blissey is watching, and when it’s fired, the Blissey uses her rotund body to roll to the side, and the attack only clips her pink flesh for a minimal amount of damage.

When Blissey pulls herself up again, ready to try and dodge, she notices her giant opponent wobbling. Breathing in gasps, the Kangaskhan collapses out of exhaustion.

Finish by giving him a Toxic if he's asleep, or a Shadow Ball if he isn't asleep.

Puffing herself up in an to an unimaginable degree, she refuses to be startled by Sora’s sudden, scary entrance. Even though she took damage, that didn’t stop her from singing, and her vindictive lullaby successfully sends Sora off to Neverland… ermm… dreamland.

Even and Sora begins to mutter in his sleep, the Blissy’s body begins to crackle with electricity. A second later, the Sableye lunges in his slumber and scratches the Blissey with his sharp claws. The electricity around her body quickly surges into Sora’s from the contact, and he is immediately paralyzed, and is forced to cut off the attack with Venus bearing a few claw marks across her pink face from the assault.

The strong Blissy isn’t deterred, and summons up a wad of Poison in her mouth while Sora begins to talk nonsense again. The poison exits the Blissy’s body, but it never hits Sora as he suddenly dodges out of the way, paralyzed muscles and all, before he continues sleeping.

Venus, as long as Sora's asleep, you have an edge, especially if he remains solid (SP, if a Ghost type was solid, they shouldn't be immune to Normal and Fighting attacks, am I right?).

Make another attempt to poison Sora with a Toxic, then surround him with a Double Team. Finish with a crushing Rock Tomb on his head.

But, if at any time the Sableye starts to wake up, put him back to sleep with another Sing!

Venus puffs herself up, beginning to cough up a wad of deadly poison, spewing it at the Sableye as he mumbles to himself. The goo hits his body, slathering him from head to foot and seeping into his bloodstream.. Sora’s mumbles immediately turn into a cacophony of hurtful jabs and insults of the worst nature. Venus’ eyes darken, and she lunges forward, Double Team all but forgotten.

Sora, of course, doesn’t really realize that the Blissey is coming towards him. He continues to talk to himself in a bizarre fashion. This time, he jumps into the air, his body glowing as he shoots towards Venus, hitting her quick and fast despite his paralysis, nearly knocking her over as she counters with a pink paw…but her fist goes right through him, and he lands on his feet, unharmed.

This of course, makes the Blissey even angrier than she already is. In her anger, she summons up a Rock Tomb from below ground, the rocks breaking through the surface like teeth, injuring and surrounding Sora in a very earthy prison. Sora himself isn’t mumbling anymore, and he can be seen twitching from behind the barrier of rocks. He opens one jeweled eye, grinning sadistically. His fist begins to glow with focused chi, and he starts to lunge forward towards the Blissey but he stops, muscles seizing up on him as both paralysis and poison take their deadly hold.

Okay Venus, despite the fact your opponent Taunted you in his sleep, we'll make him pay.

Despite his immunity to Psychic moves, there is a way we can bypass it, so send one of the largest rocks (or rock fragments, if none of the rocks from your Rock Tomb from the last round didn't break) towards his head with a Psychic, then blast him with a Shadow Ball. Finally, if the Taunt on you has worn off, Sing the ghost back to sleep if he's awake, or if he's still asleep, simply chill.

Angry, with his corperal face hurting, Sora raises his fist, glowing with focused chi energy. A Shadowball comes through Blissey’s direction, hitting Sora straight on, sending him rolling backwards as his muscles throb from the movement.

It’s Venus’ turn to grin, and begins to Sing despite the Swagger, but Sora will have none of that, and quite aptly “wallops” her with a ghostly fist, knocking the Blissey right over with ridiculous ease – powered on ironically by the status effects the Blissey bestowed upon him.

Venus, you've got a move that is pretty much impossible to use Counter or Psychic against...so shake Sora up with a couple ofEarthquakes, then relax to try and regain some energy for as long as you can in your last action in this round.

Earthquake ~ Earthquake ~ relax for as long as possible (not to regain the maximum amount of energy she first came out with here)

Don't worry about me Kyle  , If Psychic can't somehow turn EQ against Blissey, he won't be using too much energy, meanwhile 2 EQs won't be undone energy wise by 1 relax, if I can't bring Blissey down with HP, I'll settle for an energy KO, then I'll still have my Chansey as my third if I so wish...

[u] ~Round 12 Start~

Sora starts off the round with a move his kind are notorious for: Taunt. Grinning widely, Sora shows no restraint from insulting the fat pink lard in front of him everyway the ghost-type knows how. Blissey snaps, her body filling up like a balloon. Yelling, she jumps, landing on the ground and triggering a might Earthquake that cracks up the ground severely and heavily damages the Sableye, wiping the demonic grin off its face.

The second round starts off with yet another Earthquake that tears up the ground even further, making it look like a disaster zone. The Sableye has surrounded himself in an orange aura, trying to counter the physical blow. But the damange is rather indirect, and all he can find to counter as even the debris that are flung – due to the flat turf – are few and far between, and mostly harmless.

Angry at the Blissey, Sora looks ready to attack again, when he notices the Blissey seems to have calmed down from the Taunt (which have less of an effect on her compared to the first time it was used) and appears to be resting, so Sora rests – albeit grudgingly – relaxes as well, shivering as the poison continues to eat away his health, slowly but surely. He thinks he can even feel his joints beginning to act up from paralysis again.

Um, I'm the one who attacks first this round, Saffire Persian.

Venus, continue to chill out, but if you ever feel the need comes to attack, use a single Earthquake on Sora. If he tries to use a super effective move like Focus Punch or Brick Break on you, use as little energy as possible to Teleport away the moment he tries to use a Fighting type move.

Chill/Earthquake (just one)/Teleport (if a Fighting type move is used) ~ chill/Earthquake (again, just one)/Teleport (if a Fighting type move is used) ~ chill/Earthquake (once again, just one)/Teleport (if a Fighting type move is used)

Just to make things as clear as possible, I don't want Venus to use Earthquake this round more than once.

Ol Sora, I wish you knew Pursuit right now, lol...Oh well, Let's start off by using a Swagger to get Blissey mad, now, if she rushes in to hit you, use Focus Punch, if she attacks from afar, Faint Attack to hit her from behind, then finish with a Facade being PSN and PAR, this move should really hurt!!

[u] ~Round 13 Start~

Once again, Sora tries to incur the Blissey’s wrath, making rude gestures with his hands – making very good use of his fingers as he tries to egg the Blissey into attacking. The aforementioned Pokémon stars, already having had her share of Swaggers and Taunts of late, she no longer feels insulted by it – annoyed, yes. Angry, not quite. Nevertheless, she feels quite justified in giving the Sableye what he wants in a form of a powerful Earthquake that damages the unfortunate stadium even further – no doubt it will be rather cumbersome for next round’s battlers.

Satisfied, the Blissey starts to rest once more, taking deep, meditative breaths as the Sableye Faint Attacks behind her, raising a claw to attack – but he stops in midstrike, paralysis taking hold, and rendering any movement on Sableye’s part useless. The ghost is not happy about this – oh no he isn’t. And though nothing else of him moves, his mouth does as he tries to regain mobility.

Moments later, he has it, and strikes the Blissey with a hard Façade, interrupting her relaxation and sending her tumbling down the rough and crumpled ground. Sora snickers from his place, as Venus picks herself up, glaring heatedly at the Sableye, promising a heavy retribution if she ever gets the chance. Sora of course, is feeling just the same towards the pink blob, and is rather eager to begin the next round – even more so as the poison reminds him once more of his predicament.

Venus, if we're lucky, we might knock out Sora this round.

Relax, then give the Sableye a couple more strong Earthquakes, using the first one to dodge the Toxic (hopefully by jumping over or away from it) if possible. Hopefully, if we play our cards right, either the poison in his body or the second Earthquake will put Sora out of commission, even if it means seeing you fall too, Venus.

Relax ~ Earthquake (jumping motion, as a means of also dodging the Toxic if possible) ~ Earthquake

[u] ~Round 14 Start~

Sora begins the round with a little dark thievery, or at least, he tries to. But as he stares at the Blissey, and waits for her to use a power up that he can steal, he is sadly disappointed. His foe is relaxing, breathing in and out deeply as she catches her breath and prepares for the next round of attacks.

It begins with an Earthquake. The Blissey jumps up, pounding the ground with her rotund body. The ground wobbles and writhes from the shaking. The Toxic that the Sora spewed flies through the air, and the sticky substance still manages to land on the Blissey, sinking deep into her skin. She shudders, grimacing as the poison enters her system, and jumps up once more, noticing the Sableye has been knocked over. The second attack doesn’t help the ghost much either as he’s tossed to the side, given very little room to regain balance before being knocked over.

Yowling as the quake stops, he rises painfully to his feet, feeling the poison doing its nasty work. Not wanting to go down as a jumbled, poison heap, Sora flies forward, striking the Blissey with a suddenly solid hand, knocking her completely sideways in once last act of vengeance before the poison takes hold, and Sora faints.

Venus looks on triumphantly, soured only by the dull throb of poison.

Excellent Venus, you did well in avenging Rika's defeat. I'm real proud of you.

This battle isn't over yet, but since our opponent may have suddenly vanished, I can't afford to forfeit this battle or end it in a draw for us both (after all, I waited for my chance to battle you, Steve, and despite your absence right now, I want this battle to end the way I like any of my battles end, by a knockout of all the Pokemon on one battler's side).

Saffire Persian, what should I do at this point? Would it be possible for me to put this battle on hiatus, so that if and when Steve returns, we can resume it once I have a free slot? Right now, I'm afraid answers here are really important to me...

I was afraid of that...

Well, I can wait for him, but if I find it takes too long for him to return (one or more months), I may have to drop this battle, which of course would bring to me heavy disappointment...

I'll be waiting, Steve.

Okay, I hate to double post, but more than that, I also hate to do the following, Steve, in which I'm afraid I don't have much choice.

I'm sorry to have to do this against your wishes, but I'm DQing you. With the fact I eventually lose patience if something keeps me waiting for longer than it should, I didn't want to do this.

I'll be glad to battle you again someday, but, if I ever was to get a Gastly (seeing as I think I recall you were going to let me buy him whenever I get the points and time), I'm probably going to get my own (not right away though).

Good battle though.

I guess this means you get 2 points Steve, and both me and Saffire Persian get 4 points each.
