No, we don't. Dialects are of course spoken in each country, region, town etc. and each language, including German. But the High (or Standard) German used in Austria is the same as in Germany except for a few words. The dialect used mostly throughout Austria is called Mittel- or Niederbairisch, it's the same basic dialect the Germans use in Bavaria. Nevertheless, "Alles Gute zum Geburtstag" is correct (and is High German).

I do have a job. I'm head of practical works of Paradigms of Programming Languages at university. I used to work as a programmer too, but I quit that job in order to go for a PhD. I'm not sure what I will do once I get it, I may find another job in the industry or dedicate myself to research. I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

No, I don't have a boyfriend. I'm still looking for the right guy, a jerk like Andrew wouldn't do (even if he did like women).

As for living at home, no matter where I lived it would be home to me. But I don't like living alone. I like having someone to talk to at the end of the day. So I have decided I won't move out of the house until I find someone else with whom I want to live.
