According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bravo_%28television_channel%29) UK is to get Adult Swim nightly blocks. After investigating this, this is probably a crock of shit.

Anyway, can anyone shed light on why someone would make up lies like this? I got so excited when I read this 'news' that I had to go change my pants. Now i'm disappointed and have extra laundry. No, ANGERED.

Unsourced, I wouldn't take it as the truth.

Yeah, that's what I guessed, although someone must've had a reason for putting it on Wiki, otherwise it was some weird Bravo rep thinking I would watch their shitty channel. WRONG ASSHOLE.

No idea what 'Adult Swim' is because I don't follow American shows. But if it's about anime, then apart from 601 upwards (Sky owners only), that would be Cartoon Network, Toonami, etc, the other channel to air anime is Rapture Tv which airs Fullmetal Alchemist & Wolf's Rain and has been doing so since, late last year I believe..

All Bravo is currently airing late night is Football crap and porn, or Xena. Bravo airs UFC, so I watch it for that and I've not seen anything about "Adult Swim" on the adverts.

So one could only assume its happening in July onwards or it's a crock of shit.

If you remember CNX in the UK that aired shows that are considered 'Adult Swim' in the UK. They included Sealab 2021, Aqua Teen, Robot Chicken etc plus some anime.

Oh, you mean "Toonami" that aired only on Friday nights. That showed anime movies, Spawn, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star and more. Twas nice before it got axed and CNX became Toonami. Which started off decent enough but I might add is now somewhat shitty with shows such as "Backyard Science", "Life With Derek" and "Parkey Lewis Can't Lose".

So the old Uk 'Toonami' stuff was what America called "Adult Swim". Heh, you learn something new every day.

No Toonami is different, it's all anime. Adult Swim has shows like Aqua Teen, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, and Futurama and some anime.

Edit:
Never mind I found the source:

Ah, the Wikipedia thing says June but that says July. I'll check it out in July then.

It'd better be true or I might just burst a vein.

I miss CNX because even though I saw all the episodes outlaw star kicked unreal amounts of ass lol.

What channel is Rapture? I've been meaning to get into FMA even if it is dub.

193 on Sky Digital.

Tuesday 8:30pm = Fullmetal Alchemist
Thursday 8:30pm = Wolf's Rain

Sunday Catch Up - 8pm Fullmetal Alchemist followed by Wolf's Rain.

EDIT: July 7th at Midnight Adult Swim on Bravo starts. I saw it advertised while watching The Ultimate Fighter.

It's actually coming.

For UK viewers, this Friday night/Saturday morning at midnight, episodes of Robot Chicken, Sealab 2021, The Brak Show and many more will be shown for two hours on Bravo.

There is a God after all.

Yeah, God has a sense of humor too. I wonder if Bravo will show the episode of Robot Chicken that makes fun of Bravo, calling it gay (features preview of Ass Pirates of the Caribbean).

Well its better than what Sci Fi used to show.
Sure the anime's were ok. Nadesico, Blue Gender and Evangelion but they had about 5 Films.
Gunbuster
Appleseed (so sick of that film thanks to them)
Perfect Blue
Legend of the Overfiend (showed that WAY too much)
Rayearth

At least those are the ones i remember.

Akira, Spriggan, Ghost In The Shell, Cowboy Bebop - Knockin' On Heaven's Door (was aired about 2 weeks ago), there was an assload of others. They also aired Burn Up along with a few other nifty series.

As for Adult Swim: http://www.bravo.co.uk/adultswim/index.php

They aired Cowboy Bebop - Knockin' On Heaven's Door about 2 weeks ago on Sunday at 3pm. They show some anime when they feel like it. Most of the time they just air porn though.
