OK, everybody kinda leered away from my last open challenge, so how about just a normal one this time?
3 on 3, 1 Pokemon at a time.
You can send out first; I'll attack first.
DQ time is 5 days.
The arena is... eh, I dunno. Let someone else come up with one.
I don't care about banned moves - add whatever ones you want.
Any other conditions are OK with me.

Everyone did the same thing to me, Blade. How about a lil re-match? I want to use some Pokemon that haven't gotten a battle yet. Can you believe Fisticuffs has yet to pound some kid into a ground? Whatta disgrace.
First up...Go Liquid, my (M) Arbok!
EDIT: Got no idea for an arena either....Let's just go with the City Street- where we fought our first battle. The battle begins at dawn, along Main St. After five rounds, the city begins to wake up and fill with activity. Smash your foe into cars and through store windows for more fun!

OK, Viv, let's show Ace what we've got. Start off with a Calm Mind, and then use Will-O-Wisp to burn that snake. And with a Thunderbolt to cook him up even more.

Uh... Ace? I checked, and it seems that Arbok can't learn Taunt. But it could learn Swagger.
So, should I make the attack fail? Or do you want to edit? I don't see any wrong with that, as you are the second to attack...

Okay, maybe the part of the song doesn’t seem fitting, but let me tell you- it’s still early dawn! Can’t we just wait until sunrise?
*Yawn* Okay, welcome everyone to the…. umm, city street…
Okay, today’s a special match between these two battler, Blademaster and Ace64, as this is a rematch between both of them! (Dubbed as the rematch of the year!) What? How’d their last match go? I don’t know, check it out yourself…
Oh, yes! Ace64 has chose Liquid, his Arbok, and Blademaster has chose Vivian, his Banette! Stand back, people! It’s gonna start- right now!

Round One~ Begin!
Taking a deep breath in, Vivian slowly floated down and crossed her legs, appearing to be deep in thought. However, Liquid was having none of this, as he rushed towards Vivian, his teeth crackling with darkness energy.
CRUNCH! Went Liquid over Vivian’s head, twisting and jerking it (9% damage). Vivian’s head took a freaky 180 degrees turn, before she freakily adjusted it back to its original position (scared the heck out of the ref!).
Ignoring the fact that her head had just been temporarily dislocated, Vivian began to form ghostly blue fire around her, casting an eerie glow in the slight dark dawn. Instead of dodging or retaliating, Liquid just stood there, doing nothing… the action was not understandable, but it soon make sense as he began to glow bright, and the burn mark on his skin slowly begins to disappear, much to Vivian’s chagrin.
Liquid hissed, speaking in a rude tone to provoke her. Angered, Vivian gladly gave Liquid a Thunderbolt attack, shocking Liquid, and interestingly enough, caused Liquid to interestingly emit an odour same to those of a roasted meat (?) (9% damage). Vivian better realise that Liquid had already planted a curse on her, preventing continuous usage of attack in a row. She’d better be careful!

Okay Liquid...release a Haze to hide yourself, then use Screech to dull Banette's hearing. If he can't see you, and can't hear you, we should be able to attack using the fog. Use Pursuit if you're not aware of Vivian's position- if she reveal herself, strike with Crunch.

Vivian, show 'em why using fog and noise against a Ghost doesn't work.
Use Foresight to ID Liquid in the Haze, and then use Icy Wind to seal his mouth shut. End by using a Shadow Ball when he comes at you to use Pursuit.

Round Two~ Begin!
Liquid reared his head, spouting out a strange, almost smog-like, only that it was white in colour. Soon, the street was covered in a thick layer of fog, obstructing the building from the sight.
A red beam was then shot out from beneath the fog; from Vivian’s location; momentarily covering Liquid in red. Thinking that the red light was nothing, and that Vivian still couldn’t locate him, Liquid let out a horrible screech, downing out all the sound around him. During his action of screeching, he barely realised that a gust was coming straight at him. He then let out a muffled scream; his mouth encased by thin layer of ice (6% damage). The fog is cold, brrrr…
Liquid then sensed that somehow Vivian had found him. And so he waited… but there was no movement from Vivian’s side. He began to phase out, and then striking out towards Vivian (how’d he know where Vivian is?). He then caught Vivian in sight… but it appears that she was forming a ball of darkness energy in her mouth… Liquid still continued on, managing to hit Vivian on her stomach (5% damage)… but not for long, as he was struck by the Shadow Ball, sending him blasting off with a bang! (8% damage). As he slowly got up, he realised… that Vivian knew where he was.

OK, Vivian, we've gone pretty light so far... Now, let's up the ante a bit.
Start off with a Night Shade to knock that cobra for a loop, and then send a Thunder after him. End the round by placing a Curse on Liquid; let's see what that does.

Round Three~ Begin!
There was very little movement from either side, as the two Pokemon contemplated on their next move. Vivian form began to glow with a dark blow, and a beam of the same hue was then blasted towards Liquid. Vivian then scanned his opponent after the aftermath of the attack. Hold on… since when there was four Liquid instead of one?
Thinking that her next attack could easily take out all of the Liquid (his image, actually), Vivian moved for a Thunder attack. No sooner than she began to charge up the electricity that one of the Liquids began to charge towards her. In just a few second, she found Liquid’s fangs stuck jabbed through her ghostly body, and his dark eyes locking into hers. She then found out that she couldn’t move her body properly, and that she can’t really feel the sensation of pain from Liquid’s fangs (4% damage).
When Vivian was finally freed from Liquid’s grip, she still felt that she couldn’t move her body properly. Catching the sight of the real Liquid that had just attacked her, she slowly began to place a curse on him- with the cost of her health. The Curse slowly begins to eat the life out of him, without him realising it.
However, it was then that she realised that Liquid’s Poison Fang had poisoned her, and now the poison began to take its effect on her.

Actually, at least in my reffings and the reffings I've had done for me, a Pokemon loses all of its clones, if it's successfully hit with an attack. However, they keep all their clones on the offensive- what would be the point of Double Team if they lost some clones in the middle of a strike? Curse isn't technically an attack, so I'm not sure how that would affect the clones, though...Also, how do you ref Curse?

Hm, I ref it as a kinda slow, moving invisble ghostly force... so I guess it doesn't affect the clones directly.
Since a Pokemon need to maintain its energy on its clones, then I guess it would needs to spend some energy at each phase the clones still survives, am I right?

Round Four~ Begin!
Liquid was about to go for a devastating Crunch attack when Vivian’s form began to shimmer. Seeing this as a threat, he immediately placed a curse on her, hoping to snatch whatever benefit from her attack. Sadly, his attempt failed, as Vivian managed to create five perfect image of her.
As Liquid was left to choose a one out of six chance of perfect hit, Vivian began to mutter a reversal to her curse- the uncursing. Vivian got her health back, even after the curse had only done some trivial damage to Liquid (2% damage). Liquid then fired a Sludgebomb attack towards Vivian(s), and fortunately for him, the attack hit the right one- causing the other image to crumble away (5% damage).
Liquid slithered closer towards Vivian, ready to give her another Crunch attack. He was met with a blast of dark energy, which actually hurts more than it looks, really (7% damage). Thus, his clones were destroyed…but still, Liquid resumed his attack, crunching Vivian’s arm this time (8% damage).

If that rotten sidewinder tries to Crunch you again, then here's what you do: Use Psychic to pull his tongue out of his mouth and then clamp his jaws down on it - see how Liquid likes getting Crunched...

There's plenty of concrete about- use Rock Slide to see if you can hurt Vivian and block that Shadow Ball- it explodes on contact, right? Next, spit a Sludge Bomb in her eyes to blind her, and slam her with an Iron Tail from behind.

Round Five~ Begin!
Vivian began to charge a ball of darkness energy in her hands, just as Liquid’s tail began to feel for any concrete that happened to lie on the road. Finding one, Liquid threw it towards Vivian just as Vivian launched her Shadow Ball. The result of the collision sends a small explosion that sends shrapnel of rocks raining on both Pokemon. Both Pokemon seems to be all right, receiving no injuries at all.
Vivian then began to charge her hands with electricity, but Liquid decided to strike first by delivering a nasty Sludge Bomb- right on her eyes! (6% damage) Vivian howled and let loose the not-fully charged Thunderbolt attack towards Liquid, which still managed to find its way even when the aimer was having some sight problem (6% damage).
Vivian found that it was hard to focus on her target, but she attacks anyway. However, being a sly creature, Liquid sneakily slithered behind Vivian- watching her stumble in her attack- and gave her a slam of his tail- which had now glowed with an almost metallic glow (8% damage). Oh, Liquid is so sneaky!

Oh, so that's how it's gonna be?
Vivian, use your Psychic powers to grab Liquid and drive him head-first into the ground - Screeching with a face full of gravel should cut down the noise. Then, after he uses Sludge Bomb, cut through it with Foresight. Then, Slam... well, Slam's a Normal attack, so it should do nothing...
Take advantage of that, and hit him with a Psychic blast. It's time we got serious.

Well, this is Anime Style Battling; in the anime, a red laser shoots from the user's eyes. It'd have to cut throught the sludge to work, right? Well, if those lasers can wipe out holograms and mirages and, moreso, they can lock ghosts in the mortal plane, than I'd say they can cut through a few millimeters of goo.
...
Well, if it can't be used that way, then can I replace it?

I'm sorry to let you guys down, but I have to temporarily drop this battle- for a week or two. So, in the mean time, I'd suggest that you get a sub-ref.

Liquid opened his jaws, all ready to screech! But he soon found himself lifted up by an unseen force, where he was later plunged face-first towards the ground (7% damage). Now, his screeching sounds more like the cry of a beaten up snake than a ferocious cobra…
Pulling up himself- and spitting out gravels in the process- Liquid once again resorted to his cheap eye-smearing Sludge Bomb attack (6% damage). But if he thinks he thinks it’s going to work again this time, he’d better look again- a beam of red light was blasted out from Vivian’s eyes, and Voila! She could now see clearly again!
Liquid then raised his tail up, slamming it down upon Vivian. But as she is a ghost Pokemon, and Slam is a Normal attack… the attack was pretty much a failure. Vivian gave him a Psychic blast as a punishment for his foolishness (11% damage).

Using her now staple psychic power, Vivian goes for a different approach this time, namely maiming and twisting Liquid until he turned into a mess of tangle that could pass as bundle of colourful cables rather than an Arbok (8% damage). And even with the psychic power, Vivian wasn’t a seer to notice that Liquid had secretly placed a curse on her moments before he was knotted up.
Vivian focused deep, ready for another Psychic blast when she suddenly felt an excruciating headache. She ignored the pain at first, but it was apparent that the headache was too much for her to take. Liquid took advantage of the slack to untie himself from his knots. And upon free, he gave Vivian a good bite on her head (6% damage). Talk about helping…
Following her trainer’s command, Vivian began to settle down, and slowly the headache died down. She received a second bite on her head from Liquid (6% damage)- which is what Vivian would call as “uncool”.

Anywho, let's go Liquid. Shower her in Rock Slide. Next, try Glare and finish with Sludge Bomb.

OK, Vivian, the ball's in our court now! :D
Use Psychic to catch those rocks and huck them back at Liquid - aim for the head and face, if possible. Then, use Astonish - show him what being intimidating is all about. Finish the round with a Faint Attack to dodge and damage.

Round Eight~ Begin!
Using his tail, Liquid picked up a few medium-sized rocks that happened to be on the road. The rock was hurled towards Vivian, only to be stopped halfway, hold up by her psychic force. Vivian then let her psychic power loose, sending the rocks hurling back towards Liquid. Liquid let out a cry of pain as he was bombarded by the rain of rocks (7% damage).
Raising his head up quickly, Liquid’s eyes glowed with a strange, blue glow. Vivian knew better, and she quickly dealt a surprise tackle to Liquid (4% damage), causing him to abruptly stopped his psionic glare.
Liquid went for another Sludge Bomb attack, but Vivian quickly disappeared in a dark glow, re-appearing behind him just when the glob of sludge was spat out from his mouth. Liquid didn’t have the time to turn around as he was then shoved away by Vivian (6% damage), sending him sliding across the road.

Vivian, use Psychic to wrap Liquid around a signpost or something, and then freeze him in place with an Icy Wind. Then Relax for the rest of the round.
Use Double Team against any super-effective attacks.
Move: Psycho Wrap, Icy Wind, Relax
Sub: Double Team (as needed)

Liquid, take to earth with Dig. If it's a two turn attack, Dig(attack) and Relax.
If Dig is a one turn attack, then Glare to try and stop her from attacking. Then Relax

Vivian’s eyes glowed blue as she yet again going to perform another psychic manipulation on Liquid. The Arbok barely have time to dig his way to dodge the psychic blast due to the hard ground, but he did it anyway.
Vivian looked around, looking for any tell-tale sign of Liquid. After a while, she sensed some movement from the ground beneath her, and she immediately readied herself with an Icy Wind. The ground crumbled, and Liquid leapt… behind her, shocking Vivian that she dropped her attack in the process (5% damage).
Both Pokemon then complied with their trainers order by relaxing, all the while glaring at each other.

Both Pokemon started off by relaxing. Now isn’t that just anti-climatic?
And both of them (at the exact, same time) cast a hex on each other, successfully dealing a significant amount of fatigue. However, Liquid seems to be is more affected by the Spite than Vivian is.
Liquid prepared to use his Sludge Bomb for the umpteenth time, but Vivian was good at avoiding the attack in a Faint Attack. Oh wait… make that good at making a sneak attack too (6% damage).
“Busy, busy!” says the ref here.

Liquid knew that this might be his last round, but he wasn’t going to go down without a fight. His movement caused an immediate reaction from Vivian, who disappeared in a Faint Attack. Little did she realize that he was put under a curse from Liquid, slowly cutting down her energy…
The process repeated itself, and by the end of the turn, both Liquid and Vivian collapsed due to fatigue, leaving both battlers less one Pokemon
