Just a nice quick 1 v 1 to blast the boredom ;)
Ill pick first, CT attacks first.

Arena: UC's Quarry
An Old favourite of mine its just your basic deep walled abandoned Quarry. A Gentle slope runs down towards the south side where a small lake has formed from natural rainwater. The walls are hard rock so no digging through them though normal ground attacks such as Dig in the floor is fine.

Ok for this battle.....lets get some battle Experience. Ill go with Dratini (f).

Now for banned moves, since you said I could choose some. <_<
Cheap moves: Perish Song, Destiny Bond, Pain Split are banned, as well as direct recovery moves, Substitute, Baton Pass and Thunder Wave.

Alrighty, I choose…

Seifer

Seifer start off with a Haze and Dig combo to disrupt it’s vision while you burrow underground to safety, make sure your not digging on the wall (is that possible?). If Dratini comes near the entrance of your den, use Glare to make it back off and leave you alone, if it stays away, use Swift.

I did say the walls were too hard to Dig through. I had complaints last time i used Onix to burror through the arena ;). Can i just ask why Thunderwave is banned? I never saw it as being cheap, especially if you can use Glare which does pretty much the same thing.

Right then Dratini start off with an Extremespeed before Seviper can even get Haze out and then set up a Safeguard.
End the round using a Surf attack to flood its Burrow.

Extremespeed - Safeguard - Surf

Two well known battlers come together in this new ASB match. Ultimate Charizard, already waiting at his self owned Quarry, has rolled out the mottled with dirt and ore red carpet awaiting his opponent Crystal Tears. When she steps out of the truck, she's already released her pokemon, a shiny Seviper by the name of Seifer. Seeing this, UC releases his own serpentine pokemon, a young female Dratini. The dragon works it's way around his shoulder, as he escorts his opponent to the place of battle. Though owned by UC enterprises, the quarry has been fully inspected by ASB officials, to make sure there is no reason to suspect foul play. Both pokemon are let down into the quarry itself, while their trainers wait up above it. They call out their first commands, and once everyone is in place, the battle begins.

ROUND ONE
BEGIN!

The walls of the canyon are far to dense and strong for a pokemon to dig through, at least, not without time, forcing Seifer to aim down. He opens his mouth and starts to breath a relatively light, but not easy to see through Haze into the Quarry. Before he can cover enough ground to become obscured, his opponent, the lithe Dratini is upon him, swinging her tail around and slapping him harshly in the face. Like an angry married couple in the middle of an argument, Seifer growls back but continues digging, as Dratini is lost in the expanding haze. Down under the ground and out of sight, Seifer nurses a painful to the touch face, and assures himself of why he never went off with that shiny Dragonair that one time. Ouch.

Dratini on the other hand is in no mood to concern herself with past relationships, and is interested only in the battle ahead. In preparation for anything the Seviper can throw at her, she pours a little energy into a shield. Her body ripples, as though water were flowing over the surface. For a moment, it appears to solidify like ice, before fading away. A safeguard against future attacks in place, she is ready to take on whatever her opponent can throw at her.

That whatever shoots out of the ground with deadly accuracy. Five golden stars, slicing through the air, each one landing an impacting blow on Dratini's body and leaving tiny little cuts. Hissing slightly, Dratini focuses on the serene surface of the small lake gently lapping at the bottom of the quarry. A pool of collected rainwater, it is little effort to pull that water back up the minimal incline. The water washes past Dratini, easing the pain of the scars, and begins to tip into the little hole that Seifer has dug himself into. Dratini releases the wave, and it floods back down into the pool, and watches as Seifer pokes his head out of the hole, panting for water and looking incredibly annoyed.

Good round Dratini. Now lets keep them on the back foot.
Its time to get sneaky so start off with an Attract then move on to a Water Pulse. End things with a Thunderbolt.

Attract - Water Pulse - Thunderbolt.

Seifer we don’t have time for romance, turn around and ignore her, she’s not that pretty… Then turn back around and use Wrap, even if you do can attracted, give her a real tight hug to show her how much you love her (Wrap). Keep strangling her and use Crunch to increase the pain. Remember don’t let go, that thunderbolt will hurt her to if you keep a hold, then if you want, let go, either way, finish off with an Iron Tail.

Wrap ~ Crunch ~ Iron Tail

So about the delay with the reffing, my shifts have been somewhat unkind of late, and i've been working 10 days straight, making me too tired to do much in the evenings. It took me five days to write a paragrph for my fic. Fortunatly, I have Friday and Saturday off, so I'll update then. Sorry about keeping you in the lurch.
