I'm bored and I have two open slots, so time for an open challenge.

2 vs. 2, both out at the same time.
The following moves are banned: OHKOs, Explosion, Self-Destruct, Toxic, Non-damaging recovery moves (Synthesis, Rest, et cetera)
DQ time is three days.
I send first, you attack first.

Arena:
The Destiny Islands main island from Kingdom Hearts. A picture is here (http://www.kh2.co.uk/assets/kh/artwork/130.jpg).

I'll send out Pendragon, male Squirtle, and Xemnas, genderless Solrock.

I've got one last slot so i'll take you on. I do have a job so please bear with me. I choose my male mudkip Delko (eric delko) and my female absol angel.

Btw would refresh be considered a banned move? just wondering.

All right Delko I want you to start with secret power on solrock. then I want you to use Rain Dance and finally finish wtih water pulse to solrock.

Angel start with Future sight on squirtle. Next, I want you to Torment on the solrock and finish with shadow ball to solrock. However, if solrock tries to use solarbeam on Delko, mimic it and then use it on whoever is least expecting it instead.

Delko: Secret Power (Xemnas) ~ Rain Dance ~ Water Pulse (Xemnas)
Angel: Future Sight (Pendragon) ~ Torment (Xemnas) ~Shadow Ball (Xemnas)

Nah, Refresh isn't banned. Oh, and I forgot, the battle starts on the main beach.

Okay, Pendragon, I want you to Focus Punch, so make sure you get as focused as you can, then hit Angel as soon as you can. End with a Dynamicpunch, also aimed at Angel.

Xemmy, start with Solarbeam at Delko before the Rain Dance decreases the power too much. Right after you fire off the beam, levitate right in front of Angel's Mimicked Solarbeam if it is aimed at Pendragon; if it is aimed at you, levitate out of the way.

PENDRAGON - Focus (for Focus Punch) ~ Focus Punch (ANGEL) ~ Dynamicpunch (ANGEL)
XEMNAS - Charge (for Solarbeam) ~ Solarbeam (DELKO) ~ Levitate (in front of Angel's Solarbeam/out of the way)

*Battle*
At the Destiny Island main area, a pair of trainers have just arrived to stage a battle. They walk opposite one another on the beach and nod, then each pulls out two pokeballs. Kevvaelli is the first to release his pokemon, throwing both balls at once and revealing a small Squirtle, who stretches. Beside him, a meteorite pokemon named Xemnas floats still in midair. Wolfsong smiles as she throws each of her pokeballs. The first to show up out of the ball's flash is another Water type, a Mudkip named Eric. He and Pendragon stare one another down as Amy's second pokeball reveals the disaster pokemon, Absol. She opens her eyes and raises her scythe menacingly into the air, and as though signalling the battle to begin both trainers quickly shout their orders, while the pokemon nod carefully.

True to her species' nature, Angel's eyes turn a ghostly white as she gazes into the future. She forsee's a rather unpleasent future for Squirtle, and she sets a delayed psionic force that will go off when the little turtle least expects it. Even as her eyes return to normal, it seems that both Xemnas and Pendragon are in preparation. The floating sunshape rock starts to draw forth energy from the real thing high in the sky, his body pulsing a light green. Meanwhile Pendragon holds a fist up in front of himself, eyes showing a complete focus as an immense amount of chi energy starts to build across his fingers. With both his opponents busy, Eric has little trouble with his attack. His eyes shimmer with energy, and then a squigly beam is fired from them. The wavelike energy hits the ground under Solrock, and then a glowing eruption of sand blasts upward. The sand knocks him around a bit, though his rocky armor does a sufficient job of resisting the attack. The meteor pokemon is able to hold his energy charge through the attack, to his relief.

And the charge serves him well. After a few moments of further charging, the glowing solar energy is focused into the center of Xemnas' body, and then fired off in the form of a substancial beam. The bright laser beam speeds toward Delko, who's eyes are filled with fear as the blast overtakes him. A cry is heard as the solar energy bombards his body, causing extreme pain to his watery composition. As the beam shrinks down due to the exaustion of the gathered energy, Angel grins. She'd been watching carefully, and it seems she's figured out just how to pull off such an attack. She raises her head to the sun, and starts to draw in the light as she saw Solrock do earlier. The effort is rather difficult for a dark pokemon such as herself, and requires a huge amount of concentration. And that leaves her vulnerable as Pendragon runs over to her, fist at the ready and covered in a massive field of chi. The small tortoise jumps up without fear, and swings his fist powerfully into Angel's side. A loud crackling is heard as the energy flows into Angel and the force knocks her to the ground. Squirtle lands gracefully on the ground while Absol wimpers weakly, the wind knocked out of her. Eric shakes off the pain of the solar blast, and hoping to prevent future pain like that closes his eyes. A rumble of thunder overhead gives away his strategy, as a blue aura surrounds him. The clouds roll in quickly, and a nice rain starts to fall upon the beach. The two water types both smile, while Xemnas appears a bit uncomfortable (not that you can really tell seeing as he has no facial expression :p).

Getting slowly to her feet, wincing at the painful bruise on her side and having lost her energy charge to the force of the attack, Angel is really ready for some revenge. Tapping into the much more familiar realm of darkness, the disaster pokemon starts to build up an orb of null energy in her maw. The powerful ethereal energy pulsates, and she lets out a cry as the projectile is fired at Xemnas. With the threat of a solar attack gone, the clever Solrock instead puts his effort into avoiding the ghostly bomb. His natural levitation kicks in as he rises up at a rapid rate, moving out of the way of the null energy ball. The blast continues on and then explodes on a nearby dock, shattering a few of the planks and sending them into the ocean. Angel growls at the rock type, and then notices Pendragon. He again has his fist up, charging up another powerful fighting attack. Obviously having no wish to be slammed with another painful attack, she watches carefully. Squirtle steps forward, and then leaps at Angel, fist glowing. This particular energy is rather hard to control, and leads to a very slow and awkward punch. The dark type is able to rather easily avoid the leaping punch by ducking down and letting Squirtle fly overhead. As he lands and stumbles a bit in the wet sand, the energy releases into the air and dissipates. As Pendragon attacks the dark quadraped, Eric focuses his attentions on the floating rock. He creates a ball of water, amplified by the falling rain, and after adding a bit of a sonic charge to it lets it fly toward Xemnas. The aquatic blast takes the Solrock by suprise, and he is pushed back while the water splatters over his body.

With all 4 pokemon getting wet, and particularly Xemnas who is soaked thanks to Delko's attack, its shaping up to be an interesting battle. The trainers ignore the rain while they think up more strategies for the next round.

If he failed then just relax. Finally, finish up with icy wind on both if possible otherwise just focus on Xemnas.

Angel, start by creating a small substitute. Next, use torment on Pendragon. Finally, finish with Thunderbolt on Pendragon.

*Battle*
Its a regular party with the 4 pokemon all gathered on the beach. But the parties apparently gotten rained out, and a few of the battlers don't seem thrilled. As they listen to their trainers' commands, each nods.

Intent on guarding herself from painful attacks, Angel closes her eyes. Concentrating, she taps into the malletspace account. Drawing from the mystical account, she builds a lifesize doll of herself, while a trickle of life energy flows into it, giving it substance. For the finishing touch, a bit of psionic manipulation for her opponents, and suddenly all they see is that fake. Xemnas doesn't even notice as he raises his eyes up. He starts to gather the energy of the sun, but with all the clouds its a slow and ineffecient process, the building glow around his body much dimmer than previously. Meanwhile Pendragon dashes toward what he believes to be the one and only real Angel. His fist crackles, shimmering with pure fighting chi. With a cry, he leaps up and thrusts his hand into an oddly still Absol. A soft thump accompanies the impact, and that single powerful attack is all thats needed to smash the doll. The head pops right off, flying into the ocean as the body topples to the ground. Squirtle wears a look of complete suprise and horror... he didn't mean to kill her! How horrible... how evil... hey, wait? Why is she standing right over there? The reptile scratches his head in disarray, and then suddenly gets pummeled by bright purple psychic explosion. He is thrown to the ground by the delayed blast, landing hard in the muddy sand while Delko takes a deep breath. Tapping into his resevoir, he builds up water in his jaws and then fires a powerful stream of water toward the alien rock. The sheer force pushes Solrock back through the air while he's drenched with the liquid, and his pained cry echoes across the beach.

Dripping as though he just took a shower, Solrock continues to struggle with drawing in the sunlight. Angel, on the other hand, takes advantage of Pendragon's apparent shock at her "death" to place a curse upon him. Her eyes darken as a black cloud surrounds the Squirtle, and is then drawn into his body. Unnoticed, the darkness surrounds his mind. While the curse is laid, Xemnas gets fed up with drawing energy. Its just not going to work, and in frustration he gathers what energy he did draw in and fires a small energy beam toward Eric. It may not be strong, but as the beam speeds toward him Delko summons up a reflective coat across his body. His skin shimmers, and as the blast hits it reflects and flies back toward the annoyed Solrock. He shudders as his own white energy beam hits him right back, causing a deal of pain and discomfort, but suddenly he's not so mad that he couldn't get a full charge. While the sun and the water type duke it out, Pendragon decides he needs to keep up the attack despite the strange happening last time. But as he raises his fist, another strange occurance happens. He can't seem to gather his chi on his fist. Something deep in his mind seems to be blocking the energy flow. Mumbling something, he keeps trying in vain as Angel grins, feeling good.

But she still hasn't gotten revenge for that painful punch he delivered last round. And she intends to now, as electricity starts to build across her fur. The bright yellow sparks dance across her body, and she lets loose a powerful electrical bolt through her scythe and toward the struggling turtle. Pendragon cringes and cries out as the voltage surges through his body, with particular ease through his water based anatomy. While Squirtle gets blasted by electricity, Xemnas rushes toward the smug Mudkip. Assisted by powerful psychic abilities, he levitates over Delko and then drops himself. The heavy, jagged rock pokemon comes crashing down on top of the small water type, crushing him under its weight as he wimpers out in pain. Eric struggles to free himself, while the current hitting Pendragon is cut as Angel's charge is lost. Still determined to deliver a powerful punch, Squirtle lifts his fist and hopes that the energy will work this time. Thankfully, it does, and the streaks of chi surround his small fist and crackle audibly. Smiling, Pendragon makes a jump toward Absol again. She tries to evade, but this time she isn't quite as prepared and gets caught by the follow through. Letting out a howl, the distaster pokemon feels her thoughts scramble as the disrupting chi enters her body. While she stumbles around and Pendragon lands with a splash in the wet sand, Delko finally manages to get into a bit of a favorable position. He manages to turn his head toward Solrock, and takes a moment to build up an icy energy. He blows a strong, cold wind at the heavy rock, which manages to roll him a bit and frees Mudkip. The chilly blast freezes some of the water is it whips across Xemnas' rocky hide, leaving patches of white ice on his body. He floats back into the air as the frigid wind dies down, still bearing the same expression as always.

Delko glances toward his partner, who still seems disoriented, and then toward his trainer. Wolfsong ponders her next move as the Mudkip glances toward her, while the two members of Kevvaelli's team look back toward him. The frost-covered Xemnas squints his eyes at him, as if scolding him for asking to gather sunlight while its raining, and the trainer knows he has to consider more carefully.

Nice work. Angel, start with calm mind. Next, I want you to use shadow ball on Xemnas. Finally finish with thunderbolt on Pendragon. However, if at any time Pendragon tries to attack you with a fighting move, counter it.

Delko, start with another icy wind on Xemnas. Next, I want you to use swagger on Pendragon and finally finish with water pulse on solrock. If the weather is changed to sunny use rain dance then go back to the attack plan.

*Battle*
The damage is racking up quickly in this 4 pokemon battle, and the trainers do all they can to gain the upper hand. The group of pokemon nod upon hearing their orders, remaining eager.

Struggling against the confusion plaguing her mind, Absol closes her eyes. She carefully clears her head, calming herself and ridding herself of the disorientation in the process. Even as she concentrates, Xemnas is planning a new assault. Gathering up his immediate reserves of energy into a brilliant orange sphere before him, an audible hum accompanying the growing ball, the powerful blast is prepared. In a brief moment, a substancial energy beam juts through the air toward the immobile Angel. The beam scores a direct hit, creating an outward ripple of excess energy as the dark type is flung back. Her cries of pain echo across the arena, reaching a satisfied Solrock as the energy is exausted and the laser disappears. Following up on his partner's attack, Pendragon steps foward and opens his mouth wide toward the opposition. Delko hesitates, expecting an attack, but instead just witnesses an exausted yawn. As is often the case, its contagious, and Eric finds himself yawning in reply. Angel, on the other hand, still lies on the ground in pain and thus isn't effected. Despite his drowsyness, the eager Mudkip builds up a bit of frigid energy in his jaw, and blows a cold breeze toward a drained Solrock. The psychic snaps his eyes shut and shudders as the frosty breath blows around him, further encasing his body in a layer of frost. He looks more like a floating (spiky) snowball than a sun at this point.

Frosted or not, Xemnas knows that he's in no position to be attacking. Rather, he lets himself float innertly in the sky, allowing his power reserves to replenish as the rain falls around him. Angel gets back to her feet, hurt and suprised, but not out. She starts to gather ethereal energy for a second time, creating a moderate orb of grey ghost matter. Swinging her scythed head around, the explosive spirit projectile is sent toward the floating rock. His agility proves lacking as a failed dodge attempt gets him hit by the ghostly ball. An explosion of null matter follows, flowing out in every direction and into Xemnas himself, creating havok with his internal cells. He very nearly falls from the air, but catches himself and floats back up slowly, eyes wincing. As his ally is blasted, starts dashing toward the other water type. With a good running start, he jumps up and pulls his appendages into his shell, coming back down with a splatter of wet sand and rolling forward. The damp ground makes it difficult, but he gradually picks up speed as he spins toward Mudkip. Hoping to somehow prevent the inevitable impact, Delko starts to verbally assault his rolling opposition. Unfortunately, the withdrawal into the shell coupled with all the noise from rolling in sloshy sand (and the rain) prevents the Squirtle from being effected. The rolling turtle smashes into Mudkip lightly, shoving him back a bit as he grunts, and Pendragon rolls off to the side.

Shifting her glance to the small rolling shell nearby, Angel grins. Sparks dance across her fur as she converts her innate darkness into electrical current, more efficiently thanks to her earlier preperation. The Absol howls as a streak of electricity flows through her scythe and speeds through the air at Squirtle. Not moving that fast yet, he gets hit by the yellow bolt. The high voltage attack surges through him, causing his rolling to stop as he lets out a hurt shout. Even the mud covering him can't prevent immense damage to his body, though it does help. The power surge lights up the arena, but not enough for Xemnas. No, he's had just about enough of this rain. Calling upon his solar ally, an orange glow surrounds him as the already waning rainfall abruptly stops. The clouds start to clear out, revealing the sun in all its... uh, sunny glory. Solrock bathes in the light, the warmth already starting to cut through the thin bits of ice encasing him. Pendragon, body still tingling from the shock, gets ready to restart his rolling assault. But once again, finds his mind unable to process it. He stands confused, struggling and annoyed. Mudkip has no such problem, however. He knows that he wants to start the rain falling again, and thus closes his eyes. The familiar blue aura envelops him as the clouds roll back in again (I'm sure mother nature just loves this roulette of weather :p). A clap of thunder rings as a light rain starts to fall once again. Xemnas glares at Eric with utter annoyance.

With rain once again falling, it looks like the arena won't be drying out any time soon. The pokemon don't seem to mind, save the sun-rock, who's getting quite angry by this point.

Few notes... Yawn will only cause sleep if you were to avoid attacking the pokemon for a bit, since I can't see them falling asleep while being hit. Drowsyness does slow them down (but Mudkip is already slowest...). Also, Calm Mind would usually last 3 full rounds, but since it was used to clear confusion its duration was lessened to 1 round and 2 turns.
