Well, I've got my team approved and I'm itching to try out a battle. Any takers for either ref or challenger? You guys can set the rules and arena and all that jazz for this if you would like.

Ah, sorry about that. I'll send out Mule, my male Mr. Mime.

"Alright, Mule, start this fight off by constructing a Barrier in front of you to create a bit of distance between you and her. Make sure to keep the Barrier between you guys! Then, use Future Sight to set up for later. Can't be too safe! Finish up with Shock Wave to shake things up just a bit."

So basically...

Cruz Brick Break through the barrier and Swagger to break his concentration on future events. Finish with Shadow Ball.

Elekidkid vs Vermillion

We are here, at the old gym. Please follow me, the tour monitor, so that we can continue the tour in this piece of pokémon history. As we enter, you will see the arena. That place is forbidden to enter and we will have a simple overview of it at the ending of the tour.

2 teens give each other a wink while the person behind them lets out a loud sigh. As soon as the tour group entered the old gym the 3 teenagers shoot in another direction, that of the arena. As soon as they found the arena, 2 of them shoot out to the sides where the trainers stand. The third one remains in the middle and is forced to play ref. He lost at the rock-paper-scissor game they had before.

On the one side, elekidkid, sends out his miming buddy Mr. Mime. The humanoid pokémon with the strange outfit and peculiar hair gives an eternal smile to the other 2 teenagers.

On the other side, Vermillion, sends out ?his? (god I miss the gender signs under peoples names) own pokémon. Also having the color red on his body, the meditite is somewhat hovering above the ground, sending out a little humming noise.

Round One

The fight starts off with Mule doing what he does best. Setting up an invisible wall between himself and his opponent. But sadly, Cruz has a very superior brain compared to other fighting pokémon and smashes through the wall and hits Mule in the process.

Not to fazed, Mule puts his hands to his temples and starts to focus. He looks into the future and imagines a Cruz being in pain. A mystical voice responds So be it and Mule’s grin grows even wider. Suddenly Cruz starts to call out to her opponent. He wants to see Mule’s true power. A confused Mr. Mime does as he is told and he increases his muscular strength.

Mule starts to rub his hands together faster and faster until sparks begin to fly and he thrusts his palms forward. The sparks fly forward and zap Cruz in several places. The smaller fighter doesn’t give up and creates a ball out of pure negative energy and sends it flying to Mule. The ball explodes on contact and sends Mule flying.

From a man to a man, I must start this by saying... dude. wtf.

Don't worry about the Barrier being busted, buddy, just keep it going. Start by using Calm Mind to clear your head of the confusion. Then Teleport behind her to avoid the nad-shot (bastard) and when you're firmly behind her, place your hands on her back and launch a Thunderbolt directly through her system.

Calm Mind ~ Teleport ~ Confusion

EDIT: And the name... Marcel in RB when you trade to get Mr. Mime. Marcel Mule is a famous classical saxophone player and, well, I'm majoring in Music Ed with my primary instrument as saxophone.

Round Two

We are here again in the dusty arena. Good news, we aren’t caught yet. Bad news, we are running out of time. If you didn’t figure it out yet, this is just some random filling seeing as not much will happen in the first turn. Cruz flexes her muscles while Mule goes into deep meditation to get rid of the cloudiness in his mind

And now we can really get round two underway. Cruz runs forward with a slight glimmer over his foot. Seeing how Mule doesn’t want to get kicked in the eeeeeum… between the legs, he sets his clear mind to work and teleports behind Cruz at the instant he would have been hit, badly. Grunting, Cruz turns around as the energy that once surrounded her foot has been shot into empty air. But her surprise rises to a peak when suddenly a golden beam out of nowhere shoots down and hits Cruz in the stomach.

Taking his chance, Mule starts to rub his hands against each other again until sparks start to fly. He places his hand on the still downed fighter and sends a current throughout of her body. Wanting to stop the shocking experience, icy crystals are formed around Cruz her fist and when she’s ready, she slams the mime in the kidneys. Mule jumps back and grasps his side. Although the nad-shot has been avoided, Cruz can still fight dirty on her own.

Round Three

Round three, my favorite round. Why? Because if you translate three to my language and add an ‘s’, you’ll have my name. Cool huh? Right? Need some confirmation here. Anyway, Mule the mime claps his hands together soundless and starts rubbing and rubbing. This time blue sparks are flying from his palms. But a light is shining upon Cruz, the ever so calm meditite. Mule thrust his palms forward and a net of electrical energy is shot forward. Cruz just lays back as the sparks are harmlessly flying over her.

A grunting Mule is infuriated now, he once again puts two of his fingers on his temples and manipulates anything he wants, this time aiming for his foes stomach. Cruz reacts fast and places a screen of light between them. Although somewhat effective, the psychic powers of Mule still come through and rumble around in Cruz’ her stomach

Cruz again takes a defensive stand but apparently lets an opening. Mule walks up to him and SMACK! BACKSMACK! slaps Cruz twice. He winds up for a third time but Cruz stops his hand. This time Cruz reacts and SMACK! BACKSMACK! sending Mule back with a power greater then what the Mime had produced. Both pokémon do grab their mouths, since they do tingle from the slaps.

Round Four

The marvelous round three has passed. We all new it had to come, but it’s still hard. Why do the good rounds pass so fast? It isn’t fair I tell you, not fair at all. Leaving the ref to sulk, the battlers continue. Mule starts of by ticking his fingers back and forth, back and forth and back again. Cruz, believes that this isn’t the time to read her foes confusing mind, prepares herself. Mules ticking fingers come to an halt and his right hand becomes a fist. Mule rushes forward and slams hard into Cruz’ chest. The fighting/psychic doesn’t give up and puts her hands to her temples. She makes a clear path between both battlers brains and looks at Mule’s intentions.

Mule starts to make gestures again with his hands. He slams them forward over and over, apparently, there is an invisible wall in front of him. Mule draws a circle on the wall and stars can be seen, indicating where the protective barrier is. Mule raises his hands forward, ready to strengthen the barrier. Cruz didn’t waste any time during all off this. Negative energy is flowing into her and a orb off black mass was formed. With a flick of her eyes, the ball is send forward. It slams hard into the protective barrier the pure psychic has formed. Cracks start to appear and a surprised Mule starts to the enforce the barrier with his psychic powers. Eventually the ball of negativity fades into nothingness but leaves a very tired mime.

Cruz winds up a punch and places one of her hands behind her. She rushes forward, making her little legs work quite quickly. She let’s out a scream and trusts her fist forward but before the punch can connect, a bright light forms around Mule and it implodes. The same kind of light suddenly explodes behinds Cruz’ back and the mime stands there, unharmed. Both pokémon look rather tired and it seems they are loosing momentum.

Okay, Mule, we're going to play a bit of rope-a-dope here. Start out by calling for an Encore of the Dynamic Punch from last turn. Then use Double Team to disorient Cruz and finish off by Taunting her. Just remember to keep your distance. If you're ever at risk of being hit by a Dynamic Punch, abandon your move and Teleport away.

Round Five

As the ref hurries back in he gets evil glares from the battlers.
“What took you so long?” Elekidkid screams
“Was it that hard to find a vending machine?” Vermillion asks
It actually wasn’t that hard to find a vending machine, the problem was that none of them were powered.

Anyway, Cruz does what she does best and stays in her lotus position. She enters a trance and completely wipes her mind. She blocks out everything, including the clapping and cheering Mule.

Saddened that his last move failed, Mule comes to a realization. Maybe him alone isn’t enough. So he claps his hand together and yet again and 6 identical lights, 3 on the right side of mule and 3 on the left side (yeah that’s the crib side), appear. They take shape and a total of seven mimes appear on the field. Feeling that this is just to much, Cruz send out yellow stars that rip through the clones and hurt the real Mule. The sad mime thinks this out thoroughly. Cruz doesn’t seem to like it when he applauds her when he’s alone, but she doesn’t like a crowd either. Mule learns an important lesson: Girls are hard to please.

Letting his frustration build, Mule starts to say naughty words and accompanies them with naughty gestures as well. The fighting psychic gets steaming. She makes those little legs work again and this time jumps up high and comes crashing down on Mule with both her legs stretched.

Ok, Mule, this should be easy. Start out by spitting some Toxic on her when she's trying to calm her mind. Free attacks don't come often, and she's going to regret that free time. Then vent some of your Frustration on her; women tend to like the assholes anyway. You may get some leway on the situation. Finally, just take a nap. You're pretty beaten up and your energy is low, so just go into a nice Rest.

Round Six

It’s the season to be jolly, phalalalala lalalala. So for the occasion the ref is dressed in an overly large santa suit.

Beginning this round, Cruz’ trainer wants him to assumes the lotus position once again clear his mind of all obstacles, but his frustration is to large. He rushes forward and delivers powerful blows all over the mime’s body. Mule retaliates and gathers saliva in his mouth. He spits out a purple glob of toxins and they hit Cruz. The substance flows into Cruz’ bloodstream, who shivers as it happens.

Now satisfied with his trainers orders, the little monkey pokémon rushes forward. Icicle particles start to gather around his fist and Cruz delivers a freezing blow to the mimes cheek. A small part of it gets frosted over. This time the Mime starts to vent his frustration and starts smacking the little pokémon as a pay back. Cruz jumps back, happy to have escaped with her life.

Cruz wants to continue her savage attacks and places her hands in front of her, the opening creating a triangle. Negative energy gathers in front of it and she blasts it away. The formed orb hits the mime in the stomach. Mule falls over, everyone thinks it’s finally over but a snore can be heard from the lying body. Cruz cringes as the poison shows clear signs of infesting her body.

I'm sending this automated message out to all the battles I'm reffing (AKA I'm going over all the battles I'm reffing and posting the same message).

For those that haven't noticed yet, I'm taking a break from reffing for personal reason. As said in the reffing tower, I took a break from reffing to study for my finals.

It is suggested to find a subref but if you haven't found one until the end of january I will still continue this if both battlers want to keep going.

Thank you for understanding
