View Full Version : What-er Battle! Silencer VS TBA (Ref: Chris 2.Zero) NEW ROUND FINALLY UP

Silencer
4th February 2007, 09:25 AM
Alright, a 1 on 1.
Banned moves: toxic, substitute and direct healing (including rest)

Arena: flooded basement.

A flooded basement where the water is around knee high, some cardboard boxes are wet and floating around. Also several items that are lying on racks that can be used if wanted.

Pokémon limitations: only water pokémon that can fit in a basement. No chinchou/lotad line. They have an unfair advantage with their electric or grass subtype.

First attacker will be decided at random because of the limited selection in pokémon.

I'll send out Kaiza, my male shellder.

The Blue Avenger

Ooh, lucky me, I have an open battle slot. :) I'll send out Manly Fish's Brother, my male shiny Totodile.

So what do we need to do to get a ref around here?

My offers:
lap dance
booze
booze
lemonade
more booze
a "clean your car for free" card
a hobo
knife and fork

Multiple offers possible if you can make a reasonable connection between them :p

Manly Fish's Brother, counter with your own Blizzard. Continue with Ancientpower, and when he comes in to Rapid Spin, I want you to hit him with Dragon Claw.

BEGIN!

Both the small Pokemon readied themselves. Kaiza the Shellder was floating on the waters surface as Manly stood on a soggy box. Both combatents fired off a blizzard attack; Kaiza opened his lid to blast the biting wind of thick ice crystals and diamond chunks. Manly's jaws stretched wide as he did a similar action; the attacks met and warred against each other; most of the chunky debris from the attacks found their targets and both Kaiza and Manly recieved some damage from the attacks. The majority of the ice, however, had frozen some of the water in the middle of the arena. Thick bergs of ice bobbed in the water.

Not holding back, Kaiza's squsihy withins fired off a barrage of thick icy javelins. They struck at Manly, hitting him in the chest and all over his body. The little alligator naturally shielded his face and was jabbed numerous times.

He retalliated fittingly; as the little V-shaped stripe on his tummy glowed an eerie white, his arms were raised high. From beneath the earths core, blunted boulders and crags of rock lifted up and through the arena floor, moulding together and striking Kaiza. The little shell took heavy damage as he struggled to keep his visual on Manly. Now the ancientpower rocks also sat in the shallow water, their purpose fulfilled.

Spinning slightly, Kaiza closed his shell to help his defences, and propelled himself up and out the water. Spinning rather like a demented boomerang he struck Manly, who toppled back into the water in shock. Kaiza landed on the soggy cardboard box. Frowning, Manly summoned draconian glow and charged through the water, leaping and tearing at the foe.

Good show, Manly Fish's Brother. Start by using those rocks for a Rock Slide. Then give the Shellder a terrifying Scary Face. Finish with Razor Wind.

If Shellder gets too close for comfort, smack him around with a Slash.

Alright Kaiza, your doing fine. So let's keep it up.

I want you to gather some water to make a surf that can support you, but use it to skid around the area fast to dodge the rocks. Get behind your foe, to make our next action a little easier namely clamping onto his back or tail, whichever is the easiest. It'll be hard to scare a shell. Just continue with your clamp

Rock Slide -- Scary Face -- Razor Wind

Arena: There are chunks of ice and rock bobbing in the water. The center is lightly frozen but cannot support much weight.

BEGIN!

Manly slapped his hands together gleefully and rose them in the air. The large rocks from the previous attack slowly lifted up before being flung towards Kaiza. The little clam gave a cry as he was bombarded by the attack, leaving a little crack on his top. He retalliated by shutting his shell completely and causing a gentle swirl in the water. Soon, a wave of the sloshy water rose up and carried Kaiza amongst it; the water, with chunks of melting ice, slabs of cardboard and some loose rocks crashed down and smashed into Manly, ploughing him right into the wall. Kaiza dissapeared into the water.

Not dettered, but slightly sore Manly, who had clambered onto a wodden box twisted his face into an ugly contorted mess; this totodile was Champion Scary Face-Puller of 2001 and showed this in his grimace. Kaiza, however, had leapt up from behind the for and clamped down on his tail.

Something magical occured. Shellder and Totodile began to glow, and took an entirely different form as one single entity.

Totobro!

Clamdile!

Totellder!

Clambro!

Erm...

No. Anyway Manly gave a little sharp cry as the clam tightened around his tail. His claws glowed a brilliant white as he began to unleash a fantastic wind. However he was unable to execute the attack, struggling to get to grips with the technique. Kaiza clamped down harder on the foe's tail.

Notes
According to my sources, Totodile cannot learn Razor Wind. Not in Generation 3 anyway

Surf did more damage to Totodile since it was the force of surf that smashed him into the wall.

Shellder is still attached to Totodile's tail. Both are on a cardboard box floating amongst the water.

There are a few chunks of ice in the water. Most the rocks are shattered into a gravellery mess at the bottom of the water. The ice in the center of the arena has cracked.

BEGIN!

Unclamping from the tail of the foe, Kaiza glowed white and opened his shell, firing off a twisted beam of red, blue and yellow energy. The attack slammed into Manly's back, throwing him off their platform and into the water. Manly turned, raising his arms and unleashing more of the boulders. There were less, and they were damaged, but the rocks collapsed on top and around Kaiza, dealing good damage.

Kaiza hurled himself up and out, smashing into Manly and dealing good damage, taking some himself as he bobbed on the surface. Manly splashed, leaping up and doing a body slam. He smashed into Kaiza's shell and returned some damage to the bivale.

Kaiza retalliated in a suiting manner, firing off a barrage of sharp, crystalline spears. They hit Manly and he gave a groan. The spears were sharp, pointed and fast - and a lot of them were coming his way. He retalliated afterwards by grabbing Kaiza, holding on tight, leaping high and slamming the Pokemon down.

Use a rapid spin to zip around the room, dodging as main priority, attack if possible.

Then let him screech it out, afterwards send out another tri attack.

When he comes close for the kick, send him back with a powerfull, concentrated blizzard

MFB glowed as he rose his arms up into the air. Chunks of rock emerged and flew towards Shellder, who tucked into his shell and span furiously out of the way. Shellder dodged the onslaught by moving in a boomerang-esque manner, but did not have the accuracy to strike the Totodile.

Angered, Totodile opened his jaws and let out a deafening screech. Shellder gave a groan of pain as the sharp noise tore into his 'ears'. He retalliated by firing off a spinning beam of tricolour energy. The red, yellow and blue attack slammed into Manly and bowled him off his platform and into the water.

He clambered back out, leaping high as his foot glowed bright. He swung a kick but was stopped by a ferocious cannon of blistering cold ice; he was subsequently blasted into the ceiling, before falling into the water.

Kaiza gave a raspberry and summoned a large wave of water. It picked up, Kaiza riding it as it sloshed down. It was met, however, by a similar wave that Manly summoned up.

The two waves both rose and crashed into each other; this sudden amalgamation of force caused the arena to shake as the turbulent waters sloshed around. Neither Kaiza or Manly recieved any damage, but a sweeping Whirlpool was eating away the arena and pulling tightly.

Next Kaiza, firmly on his box, blasted a blizzard attack at Manly, who retalliated with his own. Similarly to before, the attacks clashed and formed a large mass of ice in the center of the arena. Snow spray flew in all directions as a jagged icy island swirled among the waters.

Finally the Shellder glowed and blasted a beam of red, blue and yellow energy. It swirled together and slammed into Manly, who almost toppled off his weak platform. He leapt across various items (such as a Wok, a paddle boat and a stretcher) to get to Kaiza, grabbing him tightly, leaping up high and hurling the shell into the cardboard platform that subsequently tore.

Whirlpool: The arena is caught up in a large swirling whirlpool that will last for two more turns unless provoked by more attacks. It is strong and can drag battlers around, causing them to use up a lot of energy firing attacks and trying to get out. They also recieve damage, 2% each round.
