Ok thanks

Ok Cat dog first use attract to fall in love with you

Next use flash to temporarily blind him, hopefully making you able to escape

the rock tomb.

Finish up with a take down from behind and land on top of him right when the

earthquake hits.

Arena Status: Flat, level feind (which I'm guessing is spanish for field) with scattered rocks and shrubs.

MATCH

The two opponents, Mars, an energetic Trapinch and Cat Dog, a determined Mareep, study each other carefully on the grassy meadow. As they cautiously eye each other, Mareep, while admiring herself in a pocket mirror, bumps Trapinch’s house blend, spilling it all over the leather upholstered chair she had carried out onto the field. Mars angrily challenges Cat Dog to fierce combat over spilled coffee.

-- BEGIN –

The hotheaded Mars instantly charges at its equally sized opponent. Cat dog, relying on a sheep’s natural tactics, began to show off its slender, worm-like tail, its mottled and unkempt fur sopping across the now moist earth. Trapinch, having extremely low standards falls in love with its opponent, but not before kicking two of its stubby legs into the ground below, and scattering an array of rocks and debris onto and around the opponent, lowering the electric Pokemon’s speed.

Following up with the onslaught, Mars’ trainer, Charles Legend commands it to send a rock slide into the opponent, but Trapinch ignores his trainer’s order, instead admiring the fluffy tufts of hair crudely sticking out of Mareep’s buttocks. Cat dog, who was not prepared for such an event, continued on to use flash, the round tip of its tail lighting up like a lightbulb. Mars narrowed its beady eyes, blinded. Its accuracy may have been lowered, but at least gazing upon his ‘beautiful’ opponent will not restrain him at the same time.

Luckily for Trapinch, his last command won’t require much accuracy. The small Pokemon leaps into the air and does a somersault, coming down on all four feet with a resounding thud. As the ground begins to shake, Mareep leaps into Trapinch’s back, sending the two Pokemon into the path of the tremor. Mareep fails to cling on, and both Pokemon are tossed around for a little bit, Mareep especially.. Finally, the quake subsides, and the two stare down, awaiting the next round.

(short on time, guys, sorry)

Mareep sends a cloud of white spores which cling onto the opponent, slowing it down. Trapinch just jumps up and down, creating Earthquakes repeatedly. However, it is immobilized by love on the third one. Mareep meanwhile smacks away at it with a Body Slam, and then a Boring Iron Tail, which lowers Trapinch’s defense.

Ok use rain dance to counteract the sandstorm and then two thunders that

will hopefully work now that trapinch is wet. If not, use body slam when

needed instead of thunder.

ROUND 3 “Aftergeometry”

-- BEGIN –

Trapinch begins, whipping up a powerful sandstorm in the blink of an eye. Struggling against the fierce gale, Mareep prances about like an idiot, summoning a heavy downpour to replace the once vicious sandstorm.

Ignoring his opponents feat, Big T-bone’s sight begins to clear up, as the rain soothes his miniscule eyesockets. (it also washes the remaining cotton from the Pokemon, at least, what had been blown away by the sandstorm) -- And as soon as this occurs, he is distracted by Cat Dog’s gorgeous form, and forgets to use Energy Punch, or Focus Focus or whatever his trainer had told him to…Ahh…Cat Dog…And as for the Thunder strategy Matt… Yeah, it worked in my fic, but fic stands for fiction. And this is a real live online conversation.

Anyhoo, Cat Dog slams into Trapinch with a body slam, knocking the equally sized Pokemon back. Not being the heaviest Pokemon, Mareep didn’t inflict too much damage. However, on the second time, Paralysis is acquired.

And finally, Mars creates another Earthquake, hitting Giant Enemy Mareep in it’s weakpoint for massive damage.

NOTE: Matt, why would you use Light Screen? Just curious, as most of Trapinch’s attacks, including super effective ones and façade, are physical. Of course, I’d think you were setting it up for your next Pokemon cleverly, thinking Mareep was finished, but this is a One on One battle…

Matt. I'm aware you're in Costa Rica right now, so, you won't hear this, but if anyone's reading this, I have a dilemma. First of All, Doc, you have to have your actions adjacent to his. You can't use two after his third. Just one. Also, how should I ref the light screen? he already has one up, and it wouldn't be allowed ingame. Also, in none of my battles or in any of the rules was such a thing stated, to my memory. This is Anime Style Battling anyway, and you could easily create another, you just wouldn't usually want to, right?

Charles Legend
16th February 2007, 09:02 PM
Light Screen: The user sets up a flat, translucent screen that filters out light and energy that tries to pass through it. The screen is very durable, and it absorbs significant amounts of energy that hit it, leaving much less to continue through to wherever it’s going. The screen fades after a short time after the user stops concentrating on it, taking absorbed energy with it, but even if the screen is maintained it is immobile and an attacker can simply move around it after the initial surprise of the defense. Excellent accuracy.

basicly Cat Dog would take down the Frrst light screen and set up a new one, btw Doc O try using reflectnext time since it wekens phiscal attacks such as eathquake, Light sreen weekens Spec. Attacks such as Solarbeam and thunderbolt.... my advice is to study Serbii's attackdex...;)

and for why I am helping you lets just say is my way of saying sorry I used a gound type aginst your Mareep... :P

Mareep, thinking quickly recreates a light screen below it and jumps onto it, hovering safely above the shaking grounds. However, the shining plate can’t go high under Mareep’s weight, and is eventually punctured and shattered by a ridge of earth that creaked up as two other plates were pressed against it, like pus coming out of some fat jewish kid’s pimple. *Shudder* Mareep falls to the ground, and is finished by the remaining earthquakes.
