Awesome! That's going to Mona.

And, Shonta, it does.

classy_cat18
11th July 2007, 06:25 PM
I thought Mona already had Sketch. Maybe I'm missing something; I've never trained a Smeargle before.

MP: Burmy, Manaphy
Question #4/Guess: Is the Mystery Pokemon Manaphy?

The Blue Avenger
16th July 2007, 02:22 PM
Hi, I'm back. Whoo!

To answer your questions, when Sketch is used, it copies the last move used by the foe over itself - so Smeargle learns the other move and Sketch is deleted. This way, provided you keep using it every time you get it, Smeargle could theoretically get Sketch an infinite amount of times.

Also, it's not Manaphy. Sorry.

Er, I don't think I was ever acquainted with that particular rule? It's not in the rules on the front page, so I'd say keep it if you want.

Lady Vulpix
24th July 2007, 05:25 PM
Ok, thanks. No, I didn't find it in the rules either, but I think someone said something like that in the past. Or maybe it was an alternate reality. *Steals her brother's argument and gives him a Water Spout TM in return because he has a Wailmer and she doesn't.*

The Blue Avenger

I'd say so; the compatibility is not limited to those who learn sleep moves by level up.

In that case, Hero gets it. ^.^ One more tricky move for his arsenal.

(2/38 ) Do you typically use a laptop or a desktop where you live?

Since I'm in college, I typically use my laptop, since we have free wireless internet here. However, if I'm at the library or in another building, I may use a desktop if I find it more convenient.

I'll take two mystery gifts, please. ^_^

Lady Vulpix

Sheik: Gold Berry, Hollow Stone.

(28/2) Do you typically use a laptop or a desktop where you live?
Since when does February have 38 days? I use a Desktop computer. I don't even have a laptop, although my mum has one so I sometimes use it in order to help her with something.

MG, please! ^_^ I missed this topic. And many others, especially the Battle Range.

classy_cat18

MG, please.

The Blue Avenger

Shonta: Hollow Stone

(28/2) Do you typically use a laptop or a desktop where you live?
I use a laptop. It's convenient to take between home and the dorm - like next week, for example (spring break). Though I use a desktop at home if I need to use, say, the scanner.

(29/2) What do you typically use to write with in classes/at work/etc.?

I typically use mechanical pencils to write notes, take tests... mainly to write in general. On occasion, I do use pens.

2 MGs please. And if possible, could we play the EMT game?

classy_cat18
29th February 2008, 02:05 PM
Sheik: Lunar Gem, Red MGcoin. And as long as you have three MGCredits per EMT, you're more than welcome to.

(29/2) What do you typically use to write with in classes/at work/etc.?
When I need to, I always use pens. Even in math class. Pencils always break in my backpack.

MG please. And I would like to buy a Red MGCoin with a Stamp and use that coin to play MP with DP Pokemon.

Lady Vulpix
1st March 2008, 05:27 AM
Shonta: MG: Red MGcoin. MP: Octillery, Mr. Mime, Dratini, Togekiss, Dustox, Floatzel, Slowbro, Palkia, Cleffa, Slowking, Houndour, Rhydon, Dewgong, Aron.

(29/2) What do you typically use to write with in classes/at work/etc.?
To write, I use pens of different kinds. I only use pencils to draw.

(1/3) Other than this page, what other web pages do you have open in your browser right now? (No links, just description).

3. Sutek's Tomb main page on Neopets.

8. My Lunar album on Photobucket.

11. The management page for the website of the subject I'm teaching.

The Blue Avenger
1st March 2008, 09:42 AM
Gabi: Spark Gem, Solar Gem, Spark Gem

(29/2) What do you typically use to write with in classes/at work/etc.?

I use a pen for almost all of my classes to take notes, but I typically switch to a pencil for my math class - it doesn't work as well, doing math in pen.

(1/3) Other than this page, what other web pages do you have open in your browser right now? (No links, just description).

Right now? Just this site and the Goldenrod Tower randomizer.

Time for another poll.

(2/3) Do you live in a city or in a more rural area? What's the population size of the town/city/area that you live in? How long have you lived there?

Currently, I live in Manhattan, Kansas, which has a population size of roughly 50,000 when the college students there. Once the school year is over, that population is reduced roughly by half. I've lived there for about a year now.

I live in Hueytown, Alabama. It's just outside the Birmingham city limits but still part of the Greater Birmingham area. Not a city, more like a suburb. *checks Wikipedia* Population's just over 15,000. And I've lived here almost all my life.

(3/3)What' the hardest class you're taking this semester? What makes it so difficult? If you're not in school, what's the hardest thing you have to do at work?

I'm slightly torn between this question. It either goes to my biology course or my psych course. Biology is difficult simply because the concepts are so immense and highly detailed. With psychology, the concepts aren't necessarily complicated, we just have a lot of material that we are covering all at once for our tests.

Question 1: Is the MP from RBY?

Okay, since the MP isn't from RBY, my list is now:

Linoone, Forretress, Silcoon, Skuntank, Abomasnow, Purugly, Nincada, Celebi

Question 2: Is the MP from D/P?

Okay, since the MP is indeed from D/P, my list is now:

Skuntank, Abomasnow, Purugly

Question 3/Guess: Is the MP Skuntank?

Okay, so the MP isn't Skuntank, so...

Question 4/Guess: Is the MP Purugly?

(3/3)What' the hardest class you're taking this semester? What makes it so difficult? If you're not in school, what's the hardest thing you have to do at work?

Well, this is kinda a difficult question for a college student like myself to answer, but since I'm mostly concentrating on finishing the skills (basically assignments with a number of questions to do) left in my retail program, the hardest thing about it right now is the business plan, because not only is it really long, but the guy I'm working with and myself of course, have to make it look as close to professional as possible, it is absolutely no pushover.

(2/3) Do you live in a city or in a more rural area? What's the population size of the town/city/area that you live in? How long have you lived there?

I live in more of a rural area than a city, namely Stratford, PE, which is only minutes away from the capital (driving-wise), the population size is roughly 7,500 here, I've lived here since Feburary of 2003.

(3/4) How big is your bedroom? What does it look like? What sorts of things do you keep in it? Is there any part of it that you particularly like? Anything that you'd change if you could?

My room is... tiny. It could easily be compared with a walk-in closet. Probably eight feet across and fifteen feet from front to back. (It wouldn't be so bad except that it's my dorm room, which effectively makes it my entire home.) Off-white paint, four fluorescent lights (three of which work), and a multicolored carpet that desperately needs to be vacuumed. There's a sink right by the door, a window in the back where my bed is, and a 3x3 foot closet.

As for my possessions, it's mostly miscellaneous stuff, but I use my TV and computer quite a lot. Those, along with my Wii, are awesome. Oh, and I have schoolbooks too. I glance at them occasionally. Mostly the covers. When I put them in my backpack. Don't know why I still buy them. Also notable are my two alarm clocks - which I occasionally sleep through - and my refrigerator/microwave. It's a crowded room, so I'd make it larger if I could. As for what I like, it's mainly the stuff in it. Even if there's not enough room for me sometimes.

2 MGs, please. And sorry for the double post.

Small. About the size of Brian's dorm room. Shonta: MP: no, it doesn't. And I find it disturbing that anyone would give a Visual Basic class. There are far better programming language, like... Just about any programming language you care to name. That, and if taught well, you can learn it in about 2 hours if you've had some programming experience... I'd say up to 6 if you haven't. I hate bad teachers, they make students hate things they might otherwise find simple and interesting. I've heard the same thing about a lot of math teachers.

Gabi: 1 Stamp/CCP. And the story behind the class is weird. The video game curriculum included a Scripting class in which we would learn MAXScript (a programming language designed exclusively for 3D Studio Max). But we couldn't find anyone to teach a class. It was easier to find someone to teach us Visual Basic. Two other students had to take it as an online course during the previous quarter and they hadn't touched programming before. And I'm the only one in the class of four this quarter that has programming experience. My Java teacher was lousy too. (3/5) Do you usually sleep on your back, your stomach, or your side? How many pillows are there on your bed? Do you sleep with anything else, like a blanket or a stuffed animal? And do you snore or do anything else while in dreamland?

I usually lay on my side when I'm trying to get to sleep, although I seem to roll onto my stomach at some point during the night. There's only one pillow here (two on the bed at my parents' house). I've never really slept with anything besides that (aside from the standard sheets and blanket), at least not since I was little. And I don't snore - at least, I don't think so - but I have been told I talk in my sleep. A few times I've woken up still talking gibberish from a dream.

(3/5) Do you usually sleep on your back, your stomach, or your side? How many pillows are there on your bed? Do you sleep with anything else, like a blanket or a stuffed animal? And do you snore or do anything else while in dreamland?
It varies. I have trouble falling asleep, and I move a lot in my bed until I finally manage it, so I sleep on whatever position I was on last. I think it's most often on my side, then on my stomach, and least often on my back (but I slept on my back last night). Just one, very thin pillow, which I've had since I first slept on a bed. And a blanket, which covers my whole body when it's cold and just my feet otherwise. And sheets, of course. And a spring mattress. And no, I don't do anything that I know of.

MG, please. And, since we're at it, I'll do something very unusual for me and request 2 EMTs. *Hands over 2 Blue MGCoins and 2 Red MGCoins.*

(3/5) Do you usually sleep on your back, your stomach, or your side? How many pillows are there on your bed? Do you sleep with anything else, like a blanket or a stuffed animal? And do you snore or do anything else while in dreamland?

I usually sleep on my side, and I've only got one pillow on my bed at my dorm, with sheets, a comforter, and then a 9 foot blanket to top it all off. It's pretty comfy. According to others, I do snore, as well as talk in my sleep. I'm not so sure though.

I usually sleep on my back, although I start on the side. Every morning I wake up looking like I'm lying in a coffin. I have three flat pillows, two comforters and a sheet to sleep under (during the winter). And I sometimes talk in my sleep. Nothing embarrassing, just a word or two.

MG please.

[3/06] Besides lunch, is there something you like to do between classes or during breaks? Why do you do it? Do you do it alone or with others?
I take "DS" breaks. I simply turn on my DS and play to loosen up. I usually don't do homework or study because I have had done it earlier. I play alone, since my classmates don't have a DS.

During breaks, I mostly talk to other people, and have tea. If it's a long break (i.e. the person I had to meet tells me that he'll arrive an hour late) I may go to the lab and use the Internet.

MG, please.

[3/06] Besides lunch, is there something you like to do between classes or during breaks? Why do you do it? Do you do it alone or with others?

Aside from TPM? Well, it depends. Sometimes I'll just play Super Smash Bros. Brawl for a little bit or watch a couple of TV shows. If it's a longer break, I'll usually grab something to eat and do a bit of homework. While goofing off. Although on Wednesdays in particular I almost always work during my breaks; I'll usually finish my work for each class in the hour or two before it begins. (Not that it hasn't been started before, but I plan to complete it just in the nick of time. Procrastination, yay!) Oh, and I almost always do all of these things alone. The only exception is SSBM, which I play with one of my Smash-obsessed friends every few days.

I mainly eat or try to get some much needed sleep. If none of that is possible I just usually surf TPM for a bit then maybe play some online games or type up an ASB reffing. Otherwise I will watch some anime or play Super smash bros melee with a friend.

MG please

K since I cant remember what I had I will sell my Hollow stone for one stamp. Then I will trade that stamp for a Red MG coin since I have none. The I will use the coin to play a game of mystery pokemon please.

Sleep! Or play the Wii. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is out and my roommates have it. Amazing game.....

[3/11] Do you have a job while you're in school? If so, what do you do? If not, do you plan to get one?

Yeah, I have a job, but I hardly work. School is my top priority. When I do work, I work in record keeping for the state climatologist. It's a pretty boring job.

[3/15] Have you heard of the video game Super Smash Bros. Brawl? Have you bought and/or played it? Are you planning to do so? What do you think about the game if you've tried it? What are your thoughts on fighting video games, and of video games as a whole?

Yeah, I bought Brawl at 12:01 a.m. on the day it was released. First in line, woo! It's pretty much awesome. In some ways it's not that much different from its predecessor, Melee, but it really feels like a major step up. It's just so complete now. There's all kinds of stuff to do, and brawling can't get old with online multiplayer. Although the lag can be a tad harsh depending on the distance between players. I also love the new "Challenges" system; rather than blindly stumbling about trying to uncover secrets, every time you unlock something you get clues about more!

As for fighting games overall, I'm not such a big fan. It always seems like the same formula: button-mash until your opponent dies. Brawl's my one exception, as it's done tastefully; the whole goal is simply to knock the opponent off the screen. It's like a blend of Nintendo craziness and sumo wrestling. Video games in general are an excellent diversion from the stresses of life. You just have to make sure they don't become your life. Because that's why we have TPM.

2 MGs and that Mystery Pokemon game, please. :sweat2:

[3/11] Do you have a job while you're in school? If so, what do you do? If not, do you plan to get one?
I don't get the "while you're in school" part, but I used to have a job as a programmer, which I quit, and now I'm dedicating myself to university, trying to get a PhD. But I'm also teaching, which means I do have a job while I'm in school.

I hadn't heard of that game, so of course I haven't bought it, nor played it. I'm not planning to do so. I don't like fighting games. I do like other kinds of videogames, but they take up a lot of time, so I rarely play any.

Yeah, I do have an external hard drive, one of roughly 500 GB from LaCie, I generally use when I'm playing games that save records, but not individual process. Apart from games, it contains various programs, and some videos of various kinds.
