Heh...Brota...So we meet again. As most of my battles lately tend to not get refs, I think I'll take up your challenge. Because you almost always get a ref. :P

I'll send out my shiny female Numel, Schleichgang! I didn't want to do this, but Numel is the only currently evolvable Pokemon I have that A. Isn't in battle and B. Doesn't have experience. I'm sure your next Pokemon will clear things up, anyway.

PRE ROUND








The popular indigo plateau is the arena for this battle, and two challengers step up. Glaring each other down as the sun shines brightly over head.

Chris, a moderator of the TPML, watches Mega Horny, who has murdered a young contest competitor in cold blood, carefully. He had though the boy had disappeared forever, wallowing in his guilt for the crime. But no, Mega was back. And ready to rumble.

Four pokemon appear on the field. Chris has a small grass type on his side. She has a beautiful leaf on her head and smiles as her quiet ally closes her shell, shielding out the sun. A Chikorita named Brota, and Tabula, the Clampearl.
Mega's team is basically the same type: a female Numel with a very, very long name, and a Magby, who the ref is lacking information for.

Both trainers' get ready as their ref flips a silver coin.

ROUND ONE






Let’s start off with those not seeking to blow each other’s heads off. Brota concentrates, and a faint blue hued shield made of tiny hexagons surrounds her and her companion Tabula. Schleichgang looks rather uninteresting with helping her own ally and instead seeks only to help herself. She glows a faint white and splits into three, one of them being her. No doubt frustrating, Tabula the Clamperl fires a water pulse at one of the Camel Copies. It vanishes, along with the other fake and Numel is left on the field smiling. Her defense worked. Lacking luck, Tabula feels an odd, sickly feeling swirling in her head as a black aura surrounds her for one moment. Magby has successfully used Confuse Ray.

Everyone is seeking to hurt one another now. Brota calls out her name and stomps on the ground. The ground in front of her erupts in a line directed at Magby. The fire type cringes as the horrid attack slams into him. But then he recovers some of his confidence as his ally Schleichgang torches the grass type. Tabula will have none of this! She fires off a water pulse that shoots straight up into the air and then falls back down, becoming nothing more then a light spray that splatters around her. Magby takes advantage of her confused state and lets his sparking, crackling fist slam into the water’s type small body. With a yelp Tabula is jolted and then quickly slams her shell shut in fear. Sparks still shooting from the hard covering.

Brota growls, that was her friend that that fire type just torched. But her anger has to wait. She repeats the same move as before on the same opponent! Magby cries out again as the rocks crush his body. He flips back up onto his feet, though one of his arms seems to be bleeding slightly. He heaves, at the same time as his ally, and flames stream from two directions at once! Brota attempts to get away, but one stream hits her full on throwing her into the other. All the while, Clamperl glows silver, letting a coating of steel shield her from damage.

Schleichgang, begin with an Earthquake, and then hit Chika with two more flamethrowers.

???, jump on top of Tabula with a body slam, to avoid much damage, and then thunderpunch down into him twice. If he tries to rapid spin you off, body slam Chika instead.

Ok Brota grab Magby with a vine whip and hurl him off Clamperl and to the ground. Next use ancientpower x2 on him.

Tabula, I want you to use a rain dance, next use surf x2 if enough water has come down. If not, use water pulse x2, on Numel both times.

ROUND TWO

Round two shows heavy signs of brutality to the arena was Tabula concentrates, even as she's inside her shell, her watery prayers are still heard by the gods of rain, and clouds start to loom over the arena. Magby pays little attention as he launches himself at the water type just as Numel lets loose her fury. She stomps the ground and suddenly the arena is being torn up. Giant boulders and rocks shoot up from the ground and long, narrow cracks spread across the rocky ground and deal substantial damage to everyone! Even ??? the Magby!
But that move doesn't stop the sudden downpour that's so heavy and concentrated over the arena; everyone seems to suffer partial blindness due to the rain. Brota's vines wrap around Magby just as he slams onto the slippery shell of Tabula, who smiles as she hears the fire type being hurled away.



??? grudgingly gets up, his eyes narrowing as the rain pours down. Clamperl is small, and he was tossed a reasonable distance away from her. The unearthed rocks don't help him any, and instead, he cautiously wanders through the seemingly empty field. He stops dead though as weak flamethrower shoots across in front of him. But as far as ??? can tell, it vanished before it could hit anything. The silence returns, before again is broken by the sudden rumbling of the ground. Magby covers his eyes as a deadly ancient power streaks a couple of feet behind him, obliterating any rock in its path.

But suddenly the rain seems to lighten, he watches the water that had poured into the cracks and formed deep puddles move away. All of it crawling across the ground before it fades from his sight again.
What the hell?



He hears Numel cry out in horror, and soon he's faced with what is causing the uproar. A giant wave of water engulfs the rocks and is upon him. He attempts to scream, but his sorrows are drowned in a rage of deep blue water mixed with dirt and some rather large rocks. He gurgles and catches sight of Brota, also sort of caught up in the madness, she clings to a rock with a single vine, and rides out the waves until the arena returns to its quiet, pouring normal.



Tabula is at home now; she is nestled between a couple of large rocks, and hidden by a couple of small ones. She has the same disadvantage as Brota, Schleichgang, and ??? have. She cannot see, not that she has too. Unbeknownst to her though, ??? has remembered the direction the water had flowed. And the fire type is creeping up on her, his fist crackling with electricity. He watches another pathetic flamethrower shoot in another direction, and then an ancient power meant for him stream off into the distance.
Tabula waits no longer, she watery powers reach out, and she can feel the immense attack gathering again. The water is crawling towards her, and the rain if as well. She prepares to strike, but a crackling energy shoots through her body. She lets out a yelp and her hold on the water vanishes. It gushes out in an explosive fashion. With a yelp ??? is thrown back, but the half-hearted surf attack fails to hit anyone else.

The arena falls silent again, and the trainer's prepare new strategies.

Brota, use nature power and take advantage of the water. Next use ancientpower on Magby and end with a mud slap to Magby's face.

Numel, shake things up with an earthquake to try and stop Brota's assault. Magby, leap on numel's back and relax as he does this.

Then, Numel, use eruption, but not too powerful a one, as you're merely using it to propell your fellow fire pokemon (giving him good resistance to the assault) through the air, into Brota. meanwhile, Magby, encase yourself in a fire spin so you send a flaming drill propeller cannon into Brota. Afterwards, Magby, send the two opponents flying into each other with psychic, and Numel, try and cover the two up with a rock slide.

I don't mean to be a dick, but I'm gonna surrender. I need my numel for other purposes, and this battle is a bit too slow for my liking.

Thats an illegal forfeit in ASB so I'm not accepting it. I want a battle with you, Crystal is doing a good job and she's going as fast as everyone else here. You committed to a match and I hope we'll see it through. If she does end up having too many priorities outside TPM we may end the match but we'll make that decision together.

You can't just jump into things, make decisions on your own and go off on a whim. Overnight (or since I was last online) you've forfeited this match, used EXP to evolve Magby twice and traded Numel away for a Nidorina before battling with said Nidorina in another battle. What's the rush?

I know this isn't what you want to hear but I'm putting my foot down.

The third round kicks off with a lot of commotion. The rain that has been pouring down like mad at let up a bit, making visibility for the fighters much better. Tubula takes into account what happened last round and begins to ‘move’ around. She spins, wobbles and others violent swishes around, making mud spurt up all around her. It lands on her shell and the surrounding rocks, effectively creating a semi-shield. ??? has jumped onto Numel’s back, and is quite happily relaxing on it while both Schleichgang and Brota begin to power up their moves. Schleichgang stomps her foot to the ground just as Brota’s eyes light up with a pink energy. The ground begins to shutter and quake, the rocks that stood proudly on the battle field topple while new cracks open up, letting air hiss from them. Brota is in the worst spot, but he tries his best as his attack activates. A pulsating orb of water, rock and mud shoots across the field, it tags Numel, who nears up because of the blast.
As both attacks subside, the Pokemon regain their bearings…

Numel begins to build up power again. Magby prepares himself for his explosive launch as he can feel the fire type shaking. But the attack is taking a strange amount of time, and both Tabula (who is currently even muddier then before…) and Brota use it to their advantage. Tabula shoots off a water pulse that is fuelled by the rain and snipes ??? right off Schleichgang. Who is dumbfounded when an ancientpower sends the poor fire type flying into a boulder. With the plan ruined, the camel still tries to use Eruption, but alas, the attack never comes.

Numel tries again, this time, she spots Brota, but can’t find the small water type due to the earthquake, rain, and fast amount of mud on Tabula’s shell. Still content on following her commands, the fire type sends numerous rocks towards Brota, who yelps as the rocks begin to pile up and slam into him.
The attack is halted however, when another hard water pulse slams into Schleichgang, who groans in pain.
??? has been watching though. Tapping into the little psychic power he has, he wraps his mind around Tabula, and flings him across the field. As the same time, he had wretched Brota from his rocky prison and sent him flying towards the water type. Both hit each other, but due to the stretched psychic power, neither sustain heavy damage.

Brota grits his teeth as he gets up, he flings some dirt as ??? who covers his eyes. Alas, some mud does get through, but not as much as originally intended.

Ok, Fire Spin didn't work because it depended on Eruption, which Numel cannot learn. So that is why those two attacks didn't activate. Oh, if there any gender mistakes for the pokemon, I apologize. I'm really busy and I kind of rushed this.

Numel, you've done terribly. When we get home, I will give you a sound series of good, swift kicks to the rump. I'll shove a good rod down inside your little spout thing. Dick. Use flamethrower on Brota three times.

Chris gets ready to take the win as Mega Horny expresses his annoyance with his two Pokemon, especially Numel. Magby, intent on doing better, gathers up his energy, and begins to boiling in a seething rage. The fiery energy begins to escape from his mouth, and the water falling around him evaporates before it even hits the baby Pokemon. He glares a Brota, intent on dealing major damage, he doesn’t bother looking for Tabula, and instead he charges forward, the energy in him reaching the critical point.
Brota sees the incoming danger, and braces himself. The fire that erupts from Magby is intense and seems undaunted by the considerable rain falling on the field. It rushes forward, its heat turning the mud on the ground to glass.
But alas, the flames slam hard into a shield. That shines as brightly as the sun as it absorbs and deflects the mighty fire attack. When its over, ?? lies on the ground, panting and utterly tired.

Tabula takes her chance; she sends a bubbling, rough wave of water towards Numel, who cries out as the attack knocks her over. Numel groans, but in the end, is utterly defeated by the rough wave.

Brota; seeing that Magby is tired and without orders, stomps his feet on the ground. A stream of rocks fly up as the powerful attack flies towards ???. The fire type cries out for just a moment, and then falls to the ground, defeated.
