I just wanted to let you all know that they're finally making a REAL THUNDERCATS MOVIE! FOR REAL THIS TIME! I'm so happy it's painful!

I heard about this last fall... but I'm not going to get too excited about it until I hear a cast list. There have been many hours of speculation among my friends, and I'm eager to hear more about how far along the pre-production has gotten.

Okay, before we all start getting *too* excited about a real Thundercats movie let's not forget what happened when He-Man was turned into a movie. Sorry, but in my experience 'cartoon to movie' is almost as bad, if not even worse than 'video game to movie'.

Myself I'll be avoiding it like the plague on the likely chance that it sucks and taints my precious childhood memories. :O
