1. firepokemon was my original chat name at #pokemasters and thus when the message board came along I chose it. I've chosen not to change my username because I like fp and while other people have better and more inventive usernames fp is my original name and I just like it.

2. This is clearly not my original account. Unfortunately that account was deleted, I believe it was at 2, 700 or something, I've used numerous accounts so there you go

3. I do use firepokemon at other pokemon websites (not that I post at any others these days), although I have had to use other names on occasion at pokemon forums. Pokemon Adobe (I think thats the name of the board, I get confused though) for instance already had a firepokemon registered, though I can't remember what it was, maybe firecraze, or crazefire or something.

At non-pokemon boards I use other names though I do try to keep a consistent name at non-pokemon boards. Something that isn't unique to that forum but can be used at various ones.

4. It would have to be an admin like Chris or LP or a supermod like Zak or Lady_Vulpix. Just so I could see banned lists etc and see what teammeeting is like these days. But if it had to be someone other than a mod or admin it would be Tamarely or DDP or someone like that cause they can actually write properly.

5. Obviously theres less people at tpm these days, but also most polls aren't that original and of course they can be tedious to reply to.

Well my username describes my passion on Pokemon, since I like to look for shiny pokemon (altough I must admit that I feel kinda disappointed, since their double stats were removed and they are easier to find in DP) and I chose it because I was playing Sapphire and I've had a little doubt about shiny legendary pokemon, so I decided to ask here.

This is my first, but I don't think I will make a new account, unless my account gets deleted by some reason, of course.

Nah! I like to have different usernames on different boards, since that would be the way I felt when I first entered the boards.

Well, I have to admit that I would like to be like Blademaster, since he has an arsenal of cool jokes while I have an arsenal of lame jokes. While he makes ears laugh, I make ears bleed.

I think that people have many things to create a poll. It's just that there are various reasons for not making polls. Some people think that the questios of the polls are to stupid to ask, while others are afraid of making polls, because of the fear of people rejecting the polls. Also, people answer the questions of the polls, but they just don't post the answers. And I think I am writing too much.

Toxicity was chosen out of a liking for the move Toxic as well as the CD by System of a Down. I had already been through a few various handles since registering, so I finally decided that Toxicity was one that'd be permanent and be both unique and part of the blend at the same time.

I think using one constant name again and again would grow old, so Toxicity is TPM-only.

I have no idea why i chose this username. I didn't put enough thought into my username, probably because at first I really didn't intend on staying here, I just needed help on my Pokemon Gold game, and I originally thought that after my question was answered, that would be it for me here. However after looking around, I was pretty impressed by what I saw and decided to become involved with the board. But, I don't like my username, I have thought about changing it, but I have been around so long, this is what people know me as.

No!! I don't like my username, so I wouldn't want to use it anywhere else!!

Meh, there really isn't anyone's identity that I would want.

TPM isn't as active as it once was, and it is hard to come up with original polls, a lot of polls have been done here over the years.

No sweat. As far as memory serves, there used to be a time when we could changed our nick freely. I cannot remember on what forum version or type was used but I did used quite a number of nicknames and changed in between them quite frequently.

Of them all, I only used Darkyouth and Dark- san the longest. If you asked me on whether if I considered on changing my name, I would but then nothing would come into my tiny brain at the moment.

Second one, I believe. The first one was abandon since I had forgotten about the password and the E-mail which was supposed along with it.

Unfortunately, yes. I am a lazy person and tend to use the same user ids and at times the same passwords on all the forums I regular back then. But these days, I more dedicated to TPM.

I would not go around stealing accounts since it would not be much of a use. But if I could assume or steal another person's account, I would guess it has to be Kevin. The big man himself has been inactive these days. So I would want to know the surprise replies that the members here would get when Kevin starts to post on a regular basis.

I am not sure of the reason myself. But I could start a poll weekly but then it would not be nice see my polls flooding PCG right?

I got it from "Nintendo Power's" "Pokemon Stadium" article in their March 2000 issue. The title of the paragraph about Starmie (a member of their recommended Rental team for the Pika Cup - I think) was titled "Starry Might" (which is, of course, a pun on "Starry Night"). When I first signed up here in November 2000, I decided to go with that as my User Name 'cause I thought it'd be cool-sounding (plus I have a special place in my heart for Starmie :121: :D).

I haven't ever changed it here, unless you count getting rid of the underscore in "Starry_Might" (my current account - more on that in the reply to your second question) as changing it.

This isn't the first name I've used online (I once went by "Hoppity-64" before I registered here), but I like this one and I don't plan on ever changing it.

It's my second. My first one was lost to the glitch that occurred when the boards were moved to a new location in December 2000. :notfunny: I re-registered as "Starry_Might".

I joined this site at the height of my Yu-Gi-Oh! obsession. My favorite card at the time was and still is the 'Buster Blader,' known in Japan as the 'Bastard Blade(r).' I based my name off that, though during a rebellious period of mine, I very nearly changed my name to CuleX... The rebellious period ended before my name was changed. :sweat: Thanks, Chris.

1.) I'm from Austria, my first name is Alex and at the Pokémon Championship 2000 in Vienna I placed second out of 256, thus I was the vice-master there. Combine all that and you got my name. I never considered changing it, I usually never change a username cause I think for hours before finally chosing one in the first place.

2.) This is still my first account.

3.) I use a short version as my AIM handle and hotmail username.

4.) Bjarni, cause that was a classic. You don't see such an amount of b/s posts without forgetting them.

5.) Cause the rules for posting polls got way too restricted at one point. That scared people off from posting them.

I'll make it short this time. I wanted something Pokemon-related, chose the pokemon that I found most suitable and added Lady at the beginning so that everyone whould know I was female.

I wouldn't. I don't like impersonating others, and besides that person could take offense.

Mostly because TPM members are not as active here as they used to. They have busier lives, and there's also the snowball effect. Posts attract more posts. Inactivity causes more inactivity.

This is not my first account and I will explain why. As for my username, I choose it from one of the Duel Monsters that appeared in a chapter of Dark Sage's Yu-Gi-Oh Junior: The Mandate of Heaven. I loved dragons and that fit.

Second ... third if you count the other TPM. My first account I had my used name Tyranitar Master because at the time I loved Tyranitars. I soon got tired of them. (I don't hate Tyranitars, it was just I didn't feel the name fit at the time.) So I had my name changed to Snakes N' Legends. When TPM got a new update, I couldn't access my old account. I tried and tried. But finally gave up. Maybe I should have but I am more comfortable with this acocunt. As for my old account, I don't think I will ever use it. It is a part of history and it will remain that way.

No, because I always want a different user name. My username at IGN was Alexenti (Don't ask. If you do, PM me. It isn't a funny story but it was the name of one of the Pokemon I created couple years ago.)

I wouldn't want to. Sure, it would be fun. But I wanted to be original. Anyways, just because you can steal someone's TPM Identity doesn't matter, you are imitating someone and aren't showing off the real you (so to speak.)

I think it depends on how they manage their time on TPM. More people are used to playing in the games, or writing/replying to fanfics or enjoying an RPG or two or three or how many they are in. Polls aren't bad but I don't think it is their main objective when coming here (This is my opinion so I might be wrong.)

Nope, it is a good poll. The main problem with people posting polls is that they don't put the effort into it. There are really good polls here at TPM and there are not so good polls at TPM.

Mikachu comes from my real name Mikael combined with Pikachu from Pokémon. Yukitatsu I took from one of the creators of Pokémon, Tatsuyuki Ishimori. I thought 'yuki' is 'snow' and 'tatsu' 'dragon', although someone has disagreed.

Yet another thing, my second name is Juhana, and if you wrote it in Japanese, it would become Yuhana to maintain the Finnish pronunciation. My surname is Tanska, so it becomes MIKAel YUhana TAnska and MIKAchu YUki TAtsu.

I have considered changing it funnily to Muikachu Yuikitatsu or something, but it wouldn't work well becuase it would be even longer. And Kevin did that once already! I might make it shorter, but the length is a part of its effect. And this name is dear to me.

Yes, everywhere except in the one I was referring to. My first name there was Mikachu TsukiYukiTatsu (it can be even longer, huh?) but then I became simply 'mikayuta' to use a shorter username for a change. Anyways, it's cool to have the Japanese username Mikachu Yukitatsu in my former school's forum!!

My original TPM username was "pokemastershazza2000", which screams of originality. I was clearly a pokemaster, shazza was a nickname for my name 'Shannon' which I recently developed and at the time it was 2000.

I changed it to shazza when UBB6 came out as my name was far too long. The name feature ruled. It's sad to think back when UBB6 first came about in 2001, reminiscing about 2000 wasn't uncommon.

I've made a few gimmick accounts over my time, some successful, some not so (sometimes purposely done to make it very obvious). Might be the reason why my current account, 'Vejodi', is not my first account.

The account 'shazza' was planned in mid 2005 for something I forget, I got unbanned by Chris early 2006 and then banned again by Suzie.
