Hello, I want to welcome everybody to the first version of TPM "Deal or No Deal." The game will be played just like the television gameshow!! If you are interested in playing, please signup!!

Rules:

When a new version of "Deal or No Deal" is posted, signups will take place for the first 72 hours. (or longer, depending on how long it takes to get at least two participants to sign up. You can register up until I post saying that registration for this version is closed.) After the sign up period, the games will begin!! People will play one at a time until everybody has had a turn. The order that you registered in will not necessarily be the order that you play in. Playing order will be determined using a randomizer, and the entire playing order will be posted upon the closing of registration. I would appreciate it if while you are playing, you make an effort to take no longer than 24-48 hours to respond, to keep the game moving along at a fast enough pace so that others do not become disinterested. After 48 hours have passed, and if no notice has been given for a reason of absence, you may be disqualified for this version, and the next person would then play their game. After everybody that registered for this version has played, the person who made the most money will be the winner, and a new version will be started.

How to Play:

If you have seen "Deal or No Deal" on TV, then you probably will have a pretty good idea of how to play!! Here is how we will play "Deal or No Deal"

There are 26 different "Cases" numbered from 1 through 26. Inside each case is a dollar amount, ranging from $.01 up to $1,000,000. Before each game, using my own "Deal or No Deal" board game, I will randomly place the money amounts in the different cases without looking. I, like you, will have no idea which dollar amount is in each case until you open it. At the start of the game, you will pick which case (number between 1-26) that you want to keep, try to pick the one that you think has the $1,000,000 inside!! This case will be your own personal case, you can either keep it, or sell it to the banker when an offer is made.

After choosing your case, you will have to start opening the other 25 cases. Every case will have a unique money amount inside, so whatever is in the cases that you open can not be inside your case. So, when you start opening cases, you will want to try to open the cases with the lowest amounts inside.

After a certain amount of cases have been open, you will receive an offer from the banker. The banker wants to buy your case from you for as little money as possible. The more high values you have left in the unopened cases, the higher the offer from the banker will be. Your goal is to leave with as much money as you can. Your game ends when you take the deal from the banker, or after you have opened all of the cases in the game, and you take whatever is inside your case. If you do not take any of the offers from the banker, when you get to the point in the game where there is only one unopened case besides your own case, you may switch your case with the other remaining case.

Here are the number of cases that you have to open in each round before the banker will make an offer to you.

Round 1: 6 Cases.
Round 2: 5 Cases.
Round 3: 4 Cases.
Round 4: 3 Cases.
Round 5: 2 Cases.
Round 6: 1 Case.
Round 7: 1 Case.
Round 8: 1 Case.
Round 9: 1 Case. (Final Round)

One last rule: To keep the game moving at a quick enough pace, when you are playing the early rounds (Rounds 1 through 5) and have to pick multiple cases, pick all of them in one post, because other people will be waiting their turn, and it could be a lengthy game since we are not playing in real-time. For the first round, with your first post after the game starts, you may pick the case that you want to keep, as well as the 6 cases that you want to open.

Winners will have their name added to the Deal or No Deal Hall of Fame, which will be posted starting with Version 2.

Finally, here are the boards that will be posted. I will post them after you finish each round. The dollar values and case numbers that are highlighted in yellow are the ones that are still in play. Also, I will post the previous offers that you have received from your earlier rounds.

Why not? I watched the local version of this gameshow every now and then. I will participate in this one.

How active would one need to be me?
Not very. Really, outside of registering, there isn't a whole lot to do until it is your turn to play. Even though the rules say about posting 24-48 hours, I am not going to be crazily enforcing the rule. As long as the game is moving along and you try to at least get a post in every few days, that is perfectly fine. I just don't want the gameplay to stop for very long times and have people become disinterested and all that good stuff. So yeah, if you are interested, I would like for you to sign up!! :)

Oh, and thank you for registering, Dark-San!!

Ok, after fp replies and confirms whether or not he wants to play, I will start the games up.

Number1ChanseyFan
13th January 2008, 04:35 PM
Ok, I guess I will go ahead and start the games up anyways. If fp wants to play, and he posts before the game is finished, then he can play, or if anyone else wants to play after the games start, I will still accept late signups since we only have 1 confirmed player.

So anyways... Dark-San, you are the first ever contestant on TPM Deal or No Deal!! Go ahead and pick one case to be your very own, to keep, or if you want, to sell. Then, you can start opening cases, in the first round, you need to open 6 cases to receive an offer.

I'll have a look at the game and play another time.

Dark-San

In this case, I will take case 18. 18 has always been some sort of a lucky number. 18 was the date of my birthday and I always get stuck in the 18th stage for all games, do not know which but it seems kind of funny. >.<;

As for the next 6 boxes, do I opened them up in one shot? Or do I have an option of opening them on at a time like the ones in reality?

If I have a choice of opening them one at a time, I would go for 6.

I guess I'll join the game of greed. It's the least I can do to support a fellow Hangman worker.

Thanks for signing up, mr_pika!!

Dark-San: You can open up the cases however you like, if you wanted to open all 6 of them at once, that would be fine, but if you want to open them up one at a time, then that is ok too!!

Anyways, ok, you have chosen case #18, so that will be your case to keep, or to sell.

Inside case #6... is a kinda big number, not too bad though... $100,000.

You have 5 cases left to open before receiving an offer from the banker. Good luck, and try to open the small numbers!!

I also want to sign-up. Games of Luck and Chance aren't really my thing (I prefer games of wit and knowledge ... if I ever wanted to be on a game show, I would go for Millionaire.) But what the hey, I might as well try this one.

Magmar & Inferno_Dragon: glad that you guys are signing up!! Thanks!!

Dark-San, here is what's inside the cases that you opened!!

#5: $100
#7: $.01!!
#13: $200
#22: $10
#25: $75,000

Good job, that was an excellent round, the highest number that you knocked out was $100,000, you kept the top 6 amounts in play, and you opened the case with the penny inside.

The first offer is $65,000. If you take the Deal, the $65,000 is yours to keep. If you say "No Deal," you will have to open 5 more cases before you receive another offer.

So, Dark-San, Deal, or No Deal?

No deal. So early in the game and I got myself a cool $65, 000. I am playing for big numbers here.

I would picked up the next five cases. I will be a little bit superstitious here. Chinese do not like the number 4 as well as 10. Since those numbers are read as 'si', which practically means death.

I am not going to start my first lunar new year on a bad start so I am clearing up whatever numbers that have to do with it. In that case, I would be opening cases 4, 10, 14, 24 and 2.

Number1ChanseyFan
16th January 2008, 11:30 PM
Ok, here are the results from your latest cases!!

#4: $5
#10: $500
#14: $10,000
#24: $300
#2: $1,000,000.

Unfortunately, you have opened the million dollar case... You had another excellent round going until case #2. Still, you have 5 of the top 6 amounts left in play, including $750,000

The Deal did not change much, opening the million hurt, but keeping the other large numbers in play helped a lot, so the deal will go up a little as a result.

The next offer is for $67,000. If you say No Deal, you will have to open 4 more cases before another offer is made.

No deal. Unless of course if it hits six figure then it might be worth considering. I am quite unlucky to think that number 2 is the million dollar case. >.<;

If case 2 is a big sum, the next two cases besides it would be a small one then. In that case, I will open both 1 and 3. For the next two, it would just plainly be the case of a wild guess. The next two would be 15 and 26.

#1: $50

#26: $750

Another excellent round... everything you opened was on the left side of the board, 5 of the top 6 amounts are still in play, including the $750,000!! As a result, the next offer is going to be huge.

Your third offer is... $155,000. If you don't take the deal, you will need to open 3 more cases before another offer is made.

No deal. Another obvious case! The six figure sum barely cuts the minimum. The range of cases from 16 to 21 are all unopened. This makes the choice of my numbers a little bit more interesting.

Case 15 is a small value, which would make case 16 a bit dangerous. Besides the odd on me opening up small values on the left side are like 19%. Not even close to the ideal percentage that is needed to determine.

As such for this round, I have to take a risk. For if I do not take one, there is nothing for me to gain either. A small step from Dark-san, a giant step for gain at fortune! I going for Case 19, 20 and a lucky guess at 12!

Number1ChanseyFan
17th January 2008, 12:58 PM
You have done very well in eliminating the numbers on the left side of the board... getting rid of those certainly won't be easy, with only 2 left on the left side.

Here are the results!!

#19: $1
#20: $400
#12: $300,000

One of the big numbers have been eliminated, but you also cleared the entire left side of the board!! From now on, everything that you open is going to be on the right side... but to have the chance at the $750,000, you are going to have to open them all.

The next offer is for $232,000. If you say No Deal, you must open 2 more cases.

Number1ChanseyFan

Ok... here are the next cases!! This game is starting to get down towards the later rounds, every case is very important now.

#9: $750,000
#17: $5,000

I am very sorry... case 9 had the largest value remaining, $750,000. Case 17 was a good choice though. You still have a chance at the half million.

The offer is going to go down a little bit, now that the two top values are gone. However, you still have 3 of the top 6 remaining, so the offer is still going to be good. From now on, you will receive an offer after every case that you open. Open the smaller values, and the offers go up a lot.

This offer will be for $187,000

Number1ChanseyFan
19th January 2008, 11:13 AM
6 unopened cases, 3 large amounts remaining, a 50/50 chance of opening something good... or something not so good.

Inside Case 8 is... $400,000.

Fortunately, you kept the $500,000 in play, but this one does hurt a little.

The offer is now for $148,000.

You only need to open the cases one at a time, and the odds are now in your favor that you will open a small case next. Since you only have to open 1 case if you say No Deal, and you still have 2 large values, you still have a safety net.

Congrats, you certainly did very well, you have won $148,000 in the first ever game of TPM Deal or No Deal!!

But now, we have to find out if you made a good deal or not, so we are going to open up all of the cases to find out what's inside!!

Case 11: $1,000
Case 16: $200,000
Case 21: $25,000
Case 23: $50,000

That means that you had the $500,000 in your case, #18!! Still, you played the game very well, congrats!!

The next contestant is mr_pikachu!! Welcome!! First, you need to pick one case, this case will be yours to keep until the end of the game, or if you wish, you may sell it to the banker. One of these cases contain $1,000,000, try to choose that case.

After picking your personal case, you will need to open up 6 cases, and then we will hear from the banker. Good luck!!

Anyway, I want to join the queue for this game.

Number1ChanseyFan

I have no idea what method you used to pick those cases!!

Now, here are the results of your first round of case-opening!!

Case 1: $500
Case 3: $75
Case 5: $300,000
Case 8: $75,000
Case 13: $1,000,000
Case 21: $50,000

A little bit of a rough start, the million is gone now, as well as another large value. However, you still have 5 of the top 7 values remaining, including $750,000!!

The offer this round is for $38,000.

Hey, out of curiosity.. how is the order that we play determined?

Number1ChanseyFan
20th January 2008, 10:20 PM
Magmar: Originally, I had planned to use a randomizer to determine play order. The game was originally going to have a sign up period that closed once gameplay began. However, sign ups originally got off to a slow start, Dark-San was the only person who had signed up when the original sign up period ended and the games started. Since Dark-San was the only one registered, I went ahead and let people sign up afterwards throughout the games. So basically, people will be playing this round in the order that they registered. So you would play after mr_pika is finished, then Inferno_Dragon would play, and then Heald would play. But in the future versions, the randomizer will be used to determine playing order. :) Because hopefully all of you will be coming back for version 2, right? ^_~

Ok, now back to the game.

Interesting choice of cases mr_pika, hopefully you picked a cluster of low numbers!!

Case 16: $5,000
Case 17: $100
Case 18: $10,000
Case 19: $500,000
Case 20: $300

The strategy generally worked pretty well, only 1 large value was opened, and you kept the $750,000 in play. Leaving that $750,000 case closed is going to be extremely important now. 4 of the top 7 cases are still unopened. Even though the half million is gone, leaving the three quarters of a million is going to bump up the offer a little bit.

The offer is now for $49,000.

This time I'll take cases 9, 10, 11, and 12.

Number1ChanseyFan

Yeah, the winner will be whoever ends up with the most money, but I will also keep a top 10 and yes, a bottom 10 leaderboard too. So there will be prizes for extraordinary games. ^_^

Now, time to open some cases!!

Case 9: $5
Case 10: $200
Case 11: $1
Case 12: $750,000

It was going so great up until Case 12!! Unfortunately, the $750,000 is now gone. However, you still have 3 huge amounts remaining, including $400,000!! You have opened some very large amounts so far, but you still have some great prizes remaining. Luckily, you have also opened quite a few low numbers too. To get the offers higher, keeping the $400,000 in play is now extremely important.

The offer is now $45,000. If you don't take the deal, you will have to open 3 more cases.

Ouch!! I am really sorry, that was a very tough round, the top two remaining prizes are now gone. The $100,000 case is still in play.

The deal has now dropped to $18,000. If you say no to this deal, you will have to open 2 more cases, and you must keep the the $100,000 in play to build the offers back up.

Ergh. That offer makes it really hard to keep going.

If I open another case, there's a 2/3 chance that I'll eliminate something below the current offer and therefore make it rise. If I trash the $750, I'm in really good shape with an average of $62,500 between the two remaining cases. If I lose the $25K, my average is instead $50,375... more than the current offer, but not by very much.

If the big one is the next case, though, suddenly my average plummets to $12,875, and the offer will likely be in that area. Mathematically speaking, the average of those three averages (which should be relatively close to the average of the offers to come next round) is equivalent to the average value of the remaining three cases, which is approximately $41,916.67 (rounded to the nearest penny). That's significantly lower than my current offer.

Considering the somewhat high probability of screwing up here (1 in 3), the minimal benefits for opening a low case, the catastrophic losses for revealing the $100K, and the fact that this is my best offer since round two... I'll take the deal.

*hits giant red button*

Out of curiosity, what was in the last two cases? And what was in my own? I'm just wondering what would have happened if I'd opened #25 and #26 in succession.

Congrats!! You played a very good game. Despite opening some huge values in the early rounds, you were able to avoid the disaster of opening the last big prize, and you were able to build your offer back up!! Congrats on winning the $48,000!!

Now it is time to see if you made a good deal. Ladies, open up your cases!!

#25: $100,000
#26: $25,000

So yes, that means that your case, case #2, only had the $750 inside, so you made a good decision to take the deal when you did!! Good job. ^_^

Now it is time to meet our next contestant, Magmar!!

Magmar, there are 26 cases to choose from, numbered from 1-26. Inside each case is a randomly placed dollar amount, ranging from a penny to one million dollars!! Now, you need to choose one of these cases, you can keep this case and whatever is inside of it, or if you want, you can sell it to the banker. So, good luck to you, and try to choose the million dollar case!!

EDIT: Magmar, you posted while I was writing this!! XD So yeah, you can start now!!

Also, its kinda strange, the only people online right now are me and the 3 people that are waiting to play this game.

I sense karma coming 'round with a baseball bat... ;)

You know, I'm curious about the formula you use for the banker offers, Christen. To be perfectly honest, I was expecting a straight average of the remaining values (I've played that way before, and it's really lame), but that clearly isn't how you're making it work. It seems to be guided somewhat by the space between values on either end of the spectrum, so I'm thinking there's some sort of standard deviation formula being factored in. Very interesting... haven't worked it all out myself yet, though. And I suppose you can't just tell us, as that would damage the integrity of the game.

Anyway, just thought I'd mention that. You've intrigued me beyond my expectations.

Number1ChanseyFan
28th January 2008, 09:39 PM
Mr_pikachu: It really isn't going to hurt the integrity of the game if I tell all of you what I do. I thought about averaging everything out, but that didn't seem like much fun, not to mention it really deviates from how the real game is run. In the earlier rounds, the offers do tend to start out below the true average, and then grow closer to it as the game progresses. Basically, there is no math formula used at all. I just try to keep the offers as close to what they would be on the TV show, (I am almost always within $10,000 when I am guessing what the offers will be on TV) so basically, I try to keep it somewhere in the middle, and the fewer cases that are remaining, the closer it will get to being at the true average. I also take into account how the game has been going, such as what the odds are of a high case being opened soon, and how far the player has progressed in the game. The later the game gets, the more the offers will change dramatically if an extremely high or low prize is opened. Basically, I am playing as two different people. As the host of the game, I really want the player to pick that million dollar case and go all of the way. However, when I make the banker's offer, I try to come up with an offer that will make the player seriously consider taking it, but still be fair in respect to the remaining values, and fair to the other players. Like you will notice that both you and Magmar had similar first offers, because both of you opened the million dollar cases in the first round. However Magmar also opened the $500,000 and you opened $300,000, so your offer for the first round was slightly higher. (Like $500. XD)

As for the cases, as soon as one player finished their game, I immediately redistribute the values in a completely random manner, I don't use any patterns or favorite numbers to decide the values, and I make sure that the values are set before the next player chooses their cases.

Ok, now back to the game. Magmar, here are the cases that you chose.

Case 25: $100,000
Case 21: $50

You have opened one pretty big case. However, your top two remaining cases are still in play. You have now reached the point in the game where you only have to open cases 1 at a time. There is now a 1 in 3 chance that you have at least $200,000 in your case, but there is also a 50% chance of having $75 or less. Keep those last two values in play, and the offers will grow.

The offer is now $90,000

Oh, so that's how it's done! I suppose that doesn't damage the integrity of the game at all... I assumed there was some sort of strict formula (and spent all of Dark-san's game trying to decipher it). But in reality, you're playing the game just as much as we are, huh? Very interesting.

I do have an additional question about the rules... it says that once you're down to two cases, you can choose to keep your case or to trade with the one that's left. Do you also have the option of accepting a banker offer at that point, or do you have to take one of the cases?

Number1ChanseyFan
28th January 2008, 10:33 PM
XD yep, that's all there is to it, no complicated math or anything!! I am just playing like everybody else, and trying to keep this game as close as possible to the real game. ^_^

As for the rules, once you are down to two cases, you will receive the final offer from the banker. If you do not accept that deal, then you will have the choice of keeping your case or switching your case with the other remaining case, so yeah, there will still be an opportunity to take a deal. Sorry, I did write them a little confusingly. ^_^

Number1ChanseyFan

Good luck to you. It is now getting to the point in the game where every case is more important then the last one. Keep opening those small cases, and the banker's offers will be huge.

Case 19: $75.

This is the fourth consecutive round that you offer has grown. You are about to receive your first 6-figure offer of the game. To keep the offers growing, the $200,000 and the $300,000 cases must be left unopened.

The offer is now for $111,000. Remember, you only need to open the cases 1 at a time if you turn down this offer.

Number1ChanseyFan

Ok, time to open the case!!

Case 20 has... $200,000.

The $300,000 is still in play, but the $200,000 safety net is now gone. Still, you have a 25% chance of having the $300,000 case, but if you do, the only way to walk away with it is by opening every other case, and opening cases are now more dangerous then ever before.

The offer is now at $92,000. This is the first time since Round 2 that the offer has dropped. Three of the remaining values are smaller than the current offer. Open any one of them, and the deal goes up. Remember, cases only have to be opened one at a time.

Good luck to you, let's hope that 7 is your lucky number today!!

Case #7 has... $25 inside!!

You have opened one of the smallest amounts left on the board. $5 still remains, as well as $75,000 and $300,000. The odds are better now than ever before that you have $300,000 in your case. Of course, if you don't have it, it would be a disaster to open it. You are about to receive your best offer of this game. If you open another case, you will have gone farther than either of the first two contestants. Things are certainly getting interesting.

The offer now is $128,000. If you say no to this deal, you will have to open another case.

I am very sorry, the $300,000 case is now gone. You have played a very tough game though, you took some big risks and opened a lot of cases. I know this isn't the result that we had hoped for, but you showed a lot of effort, and should be congratulated for playing on!! There are now only two cases remaining, your case, case #5, and case #18. If you don't accept this next offer, you can choose to keep whatever is inside of your case, or you may switch cases and keep the contents of case 18.

So, your going all the way... you could be placing your $40,000 on the line for enough money to get a meal at McDonald's. I must say that your courage is admirable. Let's see what is inside of your case...

$75,000!!

You made a good choice to decline the last offer from the banker. You went the distance and opened every case, overcoming 2 rough rounds early on, and now you walk away with $75,000!! Congrats. ^_^

Inferno_Dragon, you are the next contestant on Deal or No Deal, you are the next-to-last person to play in version 1, after you play, it will be time for Heald to play, our final version 1 player.

The dollar amounts in the cases have been redistributed. Inferno_Dragon, there are 26 cases, each with a random dollar amount ranging from a penny to one million dollars. It is time for you to pick your case. This case will be yours to keep until the end of the game, or sell to the banker if you choose. Try to pick the case with the million dollars inside. After you pick your case, we will begin the process of finding out what is inside your case by opening the other cases... whatever is in those cases can not be inside your case. After choosing your case, you will need to open 6 cases, and then we will hear from the banker... Good Luck!!

Inferno_Dragon
30th January 2008, 09:32 PM

Number1ChanseyFan

Now, you must open 6 cases, and then you will receive your first offer from the banker!!

Let's hope that this pattern pays off!!

Case 2: $500,000
Case 3: $100
Case 5: $1,000,000
Case 7: $10,000
Case 11: $750
Case 13: $200,000

Wow... things have gotten off to a little bit of a rough start... the million dollar case as well as the half million dollar case has been opened, as well as the $200,000. We've been having trouble keeping the million dollar case in play. Only once has the million dollar case survived the first round, and it was opened in the second. However, you still have a chance at possibly having the case with $750,000 inside.

The first offer is for $30,000. If you don't take the deal you will have to open 5 more cases to receive another offer.

Yes, that was probably a stupid idea to do but I am having fun. And I might as well as see how far I can go no matter how it turns out.

So no deal and I will take case 21.

Number1ChanseyFan
7th February 2008, 09:58 PM
Well, I am glad that you are having fun!! I hope everything works out, it certainly is risky to continue playing on with the penny and the dollar still in play!!

Case 21 has... $1!!

Well, it is down to this... two cases left, one has a penny in it, the other has $100,000 in it.

The final offer is now for $55,000. If you turn down this offer, you will have the choice of keeping your case, or you can trade your case and keep the contents of Case 22. You have a 50/50 shot at $100,000, but there is nothing to fall back on if the case you choose doesn't have that $100,000 in it.

This is a tricky decision but I am going to have to go with my wits on this one. But I am not stupid. Sure, it is a fifty/fifty chance but I think the odds might be against (I might also be wrong but it is a just a game anyways.)

So Deal!

Number1ChanseyFan
8th February 2008, 02:47 PM
Congrats Inferno_Dragon, $55,000 is now yours to keep. Now, it is time you find out if you made a good deal, let's open those cases.

Case 22 has the penny inside, so you had the $100,000 in your case!! Still, it is hard to blame you for taking the deal when you were faced with a 50/50 shot of taking away a penny!! (On a side note, I was really hoping that your case had the million in it, as you picked my favorite number for your case!!)

Now, it is time to meet the last contestant, Heald!! There are 26 cases, each case has a random, unique amount in it, from a penny to one million dollars. You must now choose your own case. This case will be yours to keep, or if you choose, you may sell it to the banker. After choosing your own case, we will being the process of finding out what is in your case by opening the other cases, whatever is in those cases can't be in your case, in the first round, you will begin by opening 6 cases.

Heald

I'll pick 12, and then I'll go for 5, 8, 13, 26, 1 and 18.

Number1ChanseyFan

Ok, now, Case 12 is yours to keep, or yours to sell, whichever you decide. Now it is time to start opening the cases.

Case 5: $75
Case 8: $200
Case 13: $10
Case 26: $50
Case 1: $500,000
Case 18: $25

You have gotten off to a terrific start, 5 tiny amounts opened, while only 1 large amount was opened!!

The first offer is going to be for $65,000. If you do not take this deal, you will have to open 5 more cases before you will receive another offer...

Case 11: $75,000
Case 14: $1
Case 17: $100,000
Case 22: $1,000

Another excellent round. The two smallest amounts have been knocked out of play, so you are now guaranteed of winning at least $5!! Plus only one more of the 6-figure cases have been opened... so you now have a 1 in 3 chance of having at least $200,000 in your case!!

The offer is now for $92,000. If you do not take this deal, you will have to open 4 more cases.

Case 15: $50,000
Case 19: $200,000
Case 25: $300,000

Another great round... you have never managed to keep the million dollar case in play longer than any of the previous 4 contestants... plus you also have the $400,000 as well as the $750,000 in play as well, so you now have a 3 in 11 chance of having at least $400,000 in your case!!

The offer is now for $125,000... You will have to open 3 more cases if you do not take this deal.

Case 10: $500
Case 21: $25,000
Case 24: $750

You have had quite an amazing run so far this game... you still have 3 of the top 4 cases in play, and there is now a 3 in 8 chance that one of those top 3 cases is your case.

The offer has now increased to $188,000. If you say no to this deal, you must open up 2 more cases.

Number1ChanseyFan

You have played an excellent game up to this point, so let's see if this continues!!

Case 2: $400
Case 20: $750,000

One of the huge prizes is now gone... but luckily it wasn't the million dollar case. You still have a 1 in 3 chance of having at least $400,000 in your case. For the very first time this game, the offer didn't go up, but it isn't going to change a whole lot, and from here on out it will only go up as long as that million stays in play.

The offer is now $175,000. You have reached the point in this game where you only have to open cases one at a time.

Ok... good luck to you and try to keep that million dollar case in play....

Case 23 has $400,000 in it.

Another large case gone, but it could have been much worse. The million dollar case is still in play, and there is a 1 in 5 chance that you have it, but now there is nothing else to fall back on. Still, out of respect for that million dollar case, the offer will go up a little bit.

The offer is now for $190,000.

I am pretty busy right at this second, but I will try to get the next version up and start the signup period later tonight, and if not tonight, then definitely tomorrow, providing that this current snow/ice storm doesn't mess up my telephone lines and internet like the last one did. XD
