My Dad found this on Digg recently. Apparently, if you bring a Nintendo DS to a Disney Park, you'll be able to use a special application that acts as a guide to the park:

Sounds neat! :D

I don't see myself going to any Disney parks anytime soon, though. :(

Oh wow, that's fantastic! Such a wild little idea, having a little electronic map instead of the traditional one (are we living in the future or something??) I never would've imagined this back when I visited Disneyland in '95... (resists urge to post photos of self in Disneyland)

Yes. We are living in SOMEBODY'S future...

But, at the same time, we're living in somebody else's PAST.

Figure THAT shit out.

That reminds me, if you want to see a hilarious interpretation of the future, you should check out the Disney short the 'Nifty Nineties' (from the 40s I think). My favourite part is how fashion didn't appear to have changed.

Apparently the style of the '30s will be around in 2540. Silly Aldous Huxley.

But on topic, as interesting as the concept sounds, I think Disney is just trying to find clever ways to get more money with the application.

Of course, this is coming from somebody who has lived in Florida for a few years.
