Here are the rules for Questions Only

1.- QUESTIONS ONLY - The title says it. Never say anything out of a question.
2.- Every post must be related to the previous post.
3.- Do not post more than 5 times within 24 hours.
4.- Everyone must abide by the rules of the PCG forum and TPM in general, as in all other topics.

Ok here is the first question

What did people think of the Incredible Hulk movie?

Crazy Elf Boy
22nd June 2008, 12:01 AM
Isn't it just a remake of the one made a couple of years ago?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
22nd June 2008, 02:11 AM
Why did they have to remake it? Did you know I liked it much more than the Spiderman movies?

Fett One
22nd June 2008, 08:34 PM
Why do you like it? Don't you know that most people hated it, myself included? Does anyone agree with me that the new one is good?

MToolen
23rd June 2008, 10:21 PM
Why would anyone say otherwise? By the way, what does everyone think about the franchise building up around Marvel character movies?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
24th June 2008, 03:46 AM
Could it be that I liked it because I am very unfamiliar with the original Marvel comics? Could it be that I should compare them more to see if the movie really is good?

MToolen
24th June 2008, 08:35 AM
Do you need to read comics to enjoy Marvel movies? Could you not go read about them at, say, Wikipedia?

Fett One
24th June 2008, 08:39 PM
Wikipedia isn't 100% accurate so why would you go there for comic information?

firepokemon
25th June 2008, 04:19 AM
But surely wikipedia is a quick and easy way to get information?

MToolen
25th June 2008, 08:40 AM
Besides, with an uncertainty in trust, isn't anything not 100% accurate?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
3rd July 2008, 11:59 PM
Am I right if I say for example mathematics is an exact science, but not 100% accurate either?

firepokemon
4th July 2008, 03:31 AM
If its an exact science surely everything must be accurate?

Fett One
4th July 2008, 08:09 PM
Have you ever known math to be wrong?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
4th July 2008, 11:58 PM
Isn't it that for example

1+1=3

when

1=1.5

?

MToolen
5th July 2008, 12:11 AM
Does this game always get off topic so quickly?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
5th July 2008, 12:16 AM
Would it be boring if it didn't? But have you noticed I sometimes try to return to the former discussion?

firepokemon
5th July 2008, 03:00 AM
Why do you have to return to former discussions?

MToolen
5th July 2008, 09:37 AM
Could it be a pathology brought on by the constant asking of questions?

Fett One
5th July 2008, 07:39 PM
How does constantly asking questions lead to him going back to a previous topic?

firepokemon
5th July 2008, 11:40 PM
Perhaps one asks too many questions and thus gets confused and hence therefore why they return to former discussions?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
6th July 2008, 12:28 AM
Didn't you know I kept returning to earlier discussions because I felt I had something to say about them and also because I ignored the rule 2?

Fett One
6th July 2008, 08:10 PM
Why did it take you so long to come up with things to say about those previous topics?

firepokemon
6th July 2008, 09:26 PM
Can't we go and talk about something else please? Like how is the weather?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
6th July 2008, 11:06 PM
Fett One, you didn't know it was rather because I always logged out and left computer, did you? And why is that it was quite hot here on Thursday but now it's freezing compared to that?

Fett One
7th July 2008, 06:50 PM
Do you know a weather wo/man that we can ask?

firepokemon
7th July 2008, 10:13 PM
Lol, you could always try ringing up the tv weatherman/weatherwoman could you could?

Crazy Elf Boy
8th July 2008, 03:11 AM
Does anyone know the phone numbers of weathermen/women?

MToolen
8th July 2008, 10:59 AM
Do you think they skip over the numbers of newscasters/weathermen in the phone book like they do teachers and policemen?

Fett One
8th July 2008, 08:20 PM
Does anyone want to take a look to find out?

firepokemon
8th July 2008, 10:55 PM
Well couldn't you Fett One? And does anyone else here find themselves reading old posts and realising what you said made no sense at all?

MToolen
8th July 2008, 11:51 PM
:D In semi-relevance, does anyone want to know KMOV-4 weatherman Kent Ehrhardt's phone number?

Fett One
9th July 2008, 06:43 PM
Do you know it?

MToolen
9th July 2008, 10:43 PM
Why else would I ask? Is there anything you can't get on the internet these days?

Fett One
10th July 2008, 07:34 PM
Can you get a person to do your laundry on the internet?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
11th July 2008, 12:00 AM
Fett One, why won't you come to me to do my laundry?

firepokemon
11th July 2008, 04:28 AM
But Mikachu Yukitatsu would you do his ironing?

Fett One
11th July 2008, 08:23 PM
Why would I do the laundry of a person I have never met face-to-face? For that matter why would I let someone I have never met face-to-face do my ironing?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
11th July 2008, 10:53 PM
Did you realize it was just a joke and an example showing I disagree with you in that you couldn't get someone to do your laundry from internet?

MToolen
11th July 2008, 11:43 PM
Does anyone else think some of these questions get a little too heated?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
12th July 2008, 04:38 AM
Did you know I've been wondering the same thing?

Fett One
12th July 2008, 08:10 PM
Should we all cool off by getting some ice-cream?

MToolen
12th July 2008, 10:32 PM
What kind of ice cream is available? Can we have pineapple sherbet?

firepokemon
13th July 2008, 12:23 AM
What if someone doesn't like Pineapple?

Fett One
13th July 2008, 04:18 PM
Why can't people just get whatever flavor they like?

MToolen
13th July 2008, 10:32 PM
Logistically speaking, how is the ice cream getting to us? Is it beamed through the Internets? Wouldn't that get the series of tubes all sticky?

Fett One
14th July 2008, 07:05 PM
Wouldn't we be leaving our houses to go buy the ice-cream?

Knight of Time
17th July 2008, 07:02 PM
What if an ice cream truck pulled up to your house, Fett One? Would you go for the ice cream if it was being sold so close to you?

mr_pikachu
17th July 2008, 07:37 PM
What if he's lactose intolerant? Would it be worth it for him to leave his house, cope with brain freeze and get very sick in order to savor a few artificial flavors and several pounds of sugar?

Fett One
17th July 2008, 10:15 PM
I'm not lactose-intolerant but is anyone here lactose-intolerant?

firepokemon
18th July 2008, 07:55 AM
Wouldn't it suck to be lactose intolerant?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
18th July 2008, 10:26 PM
You didn't know people, including myself, thought I was a lactose-intolerant when I was younger, did you? But isn't it good that they were wrong?

mr_pikachu
18th July 2008, 11:46 PM
Why did they think you were lactose intolerant?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
19th July 2008, 02:18 AM
Didn't you guess I had a really bad diarrhea back there?

mr_pikachu
19th July 2008, 02:54 AM
Is anyone else sickened by that last post?

MToolen
19th July 2008, 07:12 AM
Couldn't you have tried reading through it quickly before you had a mental picture in your head?

Fett One
19th July 2008, 08:42 PM
How would reading it quickly prevent the mental picture?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
19th July 2008, 11:39 PM
Should I be sorry? But wouldn't it be hard to prevent the mental picture, especially now that we have a small discussion on me having diarrhea?

mr_pikachu
19th July 2008, 11:57 PM
Why are you reminding us of the painful imagery, Mikachu?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
20th July 2008, 02:33 AM
Couldn't we all just give up talking about it?

firepokemon
20th July 2008, 02:47 AM
What can possibly top the current questions?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
20th July 2008, 03:18 AM
What about the meaning of life?

MToolen
20th July 2008, 07:09 AM
Could we ever know that? Why even ask?

firepokemon
20th July 2008, 07:30 AM
Do we actually want to know the meaning of life? Surely you must agree with me that its something we shouldn't know?

Fett One
20th July 2008, 08:35 PM
What about people who want to know? Wouldn't they disagree with you?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
20th July 2008, 11:47 PM
Should I tell you I have thought for a long time that the meaning of life is to find your own meaning of life?

firepokemon
21st July 2008, 05:59 AM
Isn't that the whole reason why so many don't want to know the meaning of life? Could it be that it is such a complex argument involving complex analytical thought, that maybe it is essentially too complex? Ugh why did my second question have the word 'complex' three times?

Fett One
21st July 2008, 07:19 PM
Isn't the only person that can answer your third question you?

MToolen
22nd July 2008, 11:29 PM
Even though it might not be correct, couldn't I answer the question?

firepokemon
22nd July 2008, 11:58 PM
Would you like to ask the question? Why do we manage to always disturb the line of questioning, so everything becomes strange questions?

Fett One
23rd July 2008, 08:34 PM
Wouldn't things get boring if we didn't?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
23rd July 2008, 11:10 PM
Aren't unanswered questions the essence of this topic?

MToolen
24th July 2008, 12:27 AM
Could we answer our unanswered questions with other questions? Do rhetorical questions count?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
24th July 2008, 05:07 AM
Have you noticed some questions are unanswered becuase we stick to grammar too much? Like do you remember when I asked "Did you know that I HAVE send a game to Australia before?" and all you did was commented on my grammar?

mr_pikachu
24th July 2008, 05:15 AM
Would a criticism of your grammar in that sentence be a proper response given its subject matter?

firepokemon
24th July 2008, 05:34 AM
Is anyone else tired of the questioning of grammar?

MToolen
24th July 2008, 10:33 AM
Why? Don't you enjoy nitpicking at grammar?

Fett One
24th July 2008, 07:32 PM
Doesn't mr_pikachu love nitpicking at people's grammer, so why should we stop him?

Knight of Time
25th July 2008, 08:00 AM
Fett One, don't you mean grammar? Wouldn't this be considered nitpicking if someone here spelled a word wrong by accident, only to have another person correct them?

MToolen
25th July 2008, 04:15 PM
Knight of Time, would you like to join mr_pikachu and myself in a grammar crusade?

Fett One
25th July 2008, 10:15 PM
When did you and mr_pikachu start a grammar crusade?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
25th July 2008, 10:55 PM
What kind of religion is grammar?

MToolen
25th July 2008, 11:48 PM
Well, if we have the same goals, why not team up? And wouldn't grammar be all New-Age-y and say it was above religion?

Fett One
26th July 2008, 11:00 PM
Why would it be New-Age-y?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
26th July 2008, 11:50 PM
Since when has grammar been religion? Anyways, could we say that for example Confucianism affects the usage of certain constructions in Japanese?

MToolen
27th July 2008, 12:15 AM
Would that be like the historical pushes the Bible has made in German with the Gutenburg Bible and in English with the King James Version?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
27th July 2008, 12:53 AM
So isn't it that religion and grammar have some connections so the idea of having grammar as a religion isn't so stupid after all?

MToolen
27th July 2008, 07:40 AM
Wouldn't that be like saying that, since singing "God Bless America" during the seventh-inning stretch in baseball has become popular, baseball could be a religion?

Lady Vulpix
27th July 2008, 02:56 PM
What definition of 'religion' are you going by?

Fett One
27th July 2008, 08:17 PM
How many definitions of "religion" are there?

Lady Vulpix
28th July 2008, 09:21 AM
How can we even find that out?

MToolen
28th July 2008, 10:08 AM
If it's impossible, can we switch to another topic?

Lady Vulpix
28th July 2008, 10:15 AM
What would you like to talk about?

Knight of Time
28th July 2008, 01:43 PM
What are some examples of things we can talk about right now, Gabi?

Lady Vulpix
28th July 2008, 04:21 PM
Haven't you just rephrased my question? Why can't you think of something to discuss?

Fett One
28th July 2008, 08:01 PM
Can we talk about food like in the old days of this game?

firepokemon
28th July 2008, 08:44 PM
Well there had better be other people here who love plain butter and milk mashed potatos, so are there? And can you believe one can get instant mashed potatos? It's rather creepy don't you think?

Lady Vulpix
28th July 2008, 09:15 PM
Instant? How instant?

firepokemon
28th July 2008, 09:24 PM
How about water, powdermix, microwave, stir then serve?

Knight of Time
29th July 2008, 09:13 AM
Would that technically be the fastest way of making mashed potatoes? Then again, what good would mashed potatoes be without other vegetables, or meat?

MToolen
29th July 2008, 09:48 AM
Wouldn't it be just as good with corn? Does anyone else eat their mashed potatoes like that?

Lady Vulpix
29th July 2008, 10:49 AM
Didn't we have that 25 years ago (and possibly earlier), except that you had to boil it since there were no microwaves?

And am I the only one who eats mashed potatoes with lemon?

Fett One
29th July 2008, 08:18 PM
Why do you eat it with lemons? Does anyone eat mashed potatoes plan like I do?

mr_pikachu
29th July 2008, 08:23 PM
Does salt count as a condiment for mashed potatoes?

firepokemon
29th July 2008, 09:24 PM
Would you like it to count?

mr_pikachu
29th July 2008, 09:53 PM
Doesn't that depend on whether or not I want to be like Fett and avoid mashed potato condiments?

MToolen
29th July 2008, 11:33 PM
Could you not check Wikipedia, which says, "...it is commonly used as a condiment?"

Fett One
30th July 2008, 06:52 PM
How reliable is Wikipedia?

firepokemon
30th July 2008, 08:21 PM
Haven't we already deduced earlier in one of these questions that Wikipedia can only be used as quick summaries and quick information as the reliability can not be validated?

Lady Vulpix
30th July 2008, 08:45 PM
Can you believe I've had a discussion about the reliability of Wikipedia earlier today?

mr_pikachu
30th July 2008, 08:47 PM
Isn't it a common topic in academia?

MToolen
31st July 2008, 12:11 AM
Why do we only question Wikipedia? Why not also question something off the wall like Encyclopedia Britannica?

Fett One
31st July 2008, 07:23 PM
Isn't that because anybody can change Wikipedia but only people working for Encyclopedia Britannica can make changes?

MToolen
31st July 2008, 09:27 PM
Could you not question the authority of EB article writers, though?

firepokemon
31st July 2008, 10:03 PM
Surely one just hopes that they get proper people in and therefore, one already assumes they're good?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
1st August 2008, 01:54 AM
Isn't that because anybody can change Wikipedia but only people working for Encyclopedia Britannica can make changes?

Can't this be interprepted in two opposite ways?

Fett One
1st August 2008, 07:56 PM
In what ways are you referring to?

firepokemon
1st August 2008, 09:21 PM
Are there certain ways you wish for him to refer them to as? Also aren't questions meant to follow each other?

MToolen
1st August 2008, 11:46 PM
Isn't the premise of questions following questions the premise of this game?

Fett One
2nd August 2008, 03:08 PM
What would this game be like if it didn't follow that premise?

Lady Vulpix
2nd August 2008, 08:12 PM
Wouldn't it turn into a spam-fest?

MToolen
2nd August 2008, 11:24 PM
Wouldn't any game devoid of its premise become a spam-fest?

Fett One
3rd August 2008, 10:15 PM
What about a game, whose premise is to be a spam-fest? What happens to it if you remove it's premise?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
3rd August 2008, 11:35 PM
Would that kind of game become mod approved? Anyway, would it be a spammy spammy thread or spammy unspammy thread or perhaps unspammy spammy thread?

MToolen
3rd August 2008, 11:38 PM
How would you differentiate between those types of threads?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
3rd August 2008, 11:43 PM
Why would I ask if I knew? But in this topic, don't we all agree in that we just have to ask questions even if we know the answer?

mr_pikachu
3rd August 2008, 11:49 PM
Why would you ask a question to which you already knew the answer? Why not simply ask a different question?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
3rd August 2008, 11:55 PM
What if someone wants to tell a fact in this thread?

firepokemon
4th August 2008, 01:50 AM
Would the fact be interesting or would it rather uninteresting?

Fett One
4th August 2008, 07:05 PM
Does it really matter which one?

MToolen
5th August 2008, 10:44 PM
In any case, wouldn't it be ironically deleted for being truthful?

Fett One
6th August 2008, 07:36 PM
Why would it be deleted for being truthful?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
6th August 2008, 11:00 PM
Would it be deleted if it was a question and didn't break any other rules?

firepokemon
6th August 2008, 11:47 PM
Surely that would depend on how the question is made don't you think?

Fett One
7th August 2008, 07:18 PM
What kind of question would fall under that?

MToolen
21st August 2008, 12:34 AM
Can we successfully revive this topic? Is everybody going to school soon?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
21st August 2008, 04:34 AM
Is it that we are somewhat tired of this? But did you know I'll start teaching Japanese next month if there are enough students?

MToolen
21st August 2008, 08:09 AM
How many students are enough?

Fett One
21st August 2008, 09:31 PM
Do you teach Japanese professionally or this just a part time job?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
21st August 2008, 11:40 PM
Can you imagine I don't know how many students are enough because I have some contradictory information? How would I know if they give me different numbers like 5, 8 or 10?

And Fett One, have I told before I don't have teacher education, it's just a part-time job so far?

Fett One
30th August 2008, 09:50 PM
Have you found out yet if there are enough students?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
30th August 2008, 11:45 PM
When do you think they'll tell me? You didn't know I expected a call the day before yesterday, did you? Anyway, don't you think there will be enough students because I checked my hometown's web page already on Monday, the first application day, and it said there were already 6 people?

Fett One
1st September 2008, 01:03 AM
Since Mikachu Yukitatsu opened a topic about his class in Misc, what should we talk about now? Is everyone ok talking about Digimon? What does everyone think of Digimon Savers? Does anyone agree with me that it is a good season?

mr_pikachu
1st September 2008, 01:08 AM
Why can't we talk about his class in two separate topics? Is there a rule against redundancy?

Fett One
1st September 2008, 01:18 AM
Couldn't Mikachu Yukitatsu find redundancy annoying, since he will be posting about his activities in two different places? Shouldn't the decision be his to make concerning redundancy? Also, what's wrong with me trying to avoid redundacy? Is there any good reason to have redundancy in this particular case?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
1st September 2008, 01:34 AM
Haven't you guessed I'm fine with both solutions? Wouldn't everyone who is interested in my course have the same problem of reading two different topics? Anyways, you knew I like Digimon, too, didn't you?

firepokemon
1st September 2008, 05:55 AM
Surely most like Digimon? Wasn't it different with its less episodic strategy and the keeping of Japanese names?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
1st September 2008, 11:37 PM
Did you know that Finland had the first season and the first half of the second season in Finnish but the rest of the second season was in Japanese?

Fett One
2nd September 2008, 07:33 PM
Why did they air the second half in japanese?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
2nd September 2008, 11:36 PM
Can you believe I really don't know? Could it have been because they stopped showing Digimon for a while here and Finnish Digimon fans wrote an address to get them to continue the series? Perhaps the Finnish voice actors had quit or something, does that make sense?

Knight of Time
6th September 2008, 02:39 PM
Aren't TV shows usually supposed to end for a reason? Does anyone believe Pokemon may end someday?

classy_cat18
6th September 2008, 02:41 PM
Do you believe that hell will freeze over? Do you believe that pigs will fly?

Fett One
6th September 2008, 07:44 PM
classy_cat18, should we take that as a "no"? Wouldn't it come to an end when enough people get tired of watching pokemon? As long as they keep making games, will people even get tired of watching the show?

classy_cat18
6th September 2008, 07:46 PM
Don't you think that people stopped caring about the show two years ago?

Fett One
6th September 2008, 08:07 PM
If people stopped caring then why is it still on?

classy_cat18
6th September 2008, 08:11 PM
...Can you believe that I have no idea?

firepokemon
6th September 2008, 08:14 PM
Because surely people love the anime? I know I do and I am sure it is the same for others?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
6th September 2008, 11:54 PM
Can you believe I still like the Pokemon anime and watch it about every other week? Does anyone remember my translations I posted a lot when Hanada Tattsu was in the Pokemon Anime forum? But can you believe I lost the TV Tokyo Yokoku page where I used to get the material? Should I look for it more?

Fett One
7th September 2008, 03:39 PM
Wasn't Hanada Tattsu the mod for Pokemon Anime? Who is the current mod in that section?

Mikachu Yukitatsu, do you feel like looking for that site? If you do find it, do you even have time to do translations?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
8th September 2008, 01:08 AM
How does it seem that there is no mod at all? And should I say I'm not sure about translating, but wouldn't reading Pokemon episode previews help me to improve my Japanese anyway?

Knight of Time
8th September 2008, 12:27 PM
Would it be of help to find someone who could translate Pokemon episodes to your native language, Mikachu?

Fett One
8th September 2008, 07:47 PM
Knight of Time, do you know someone that can help Mikachu Yukitatsu?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
8th September 2008, 11:39 PM
Was my phrasing of the question bad because I ment I'd translate them from Japanese to English to post them at TPM?

Knight of Time
9th September 2008, 01:26 PM
What translator did you use, Mikachu?

Fett One
9th September 2008, 07:40 PM
Wouldn't any translator work?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
9th September 2008, 11:16 PM
Didn't you know I never use translators, only dictionaries because I want to figure it out by myself?

shazza
10th September 2008, 09:49 AM
Wouldn't the use of dictionaries not be classified as getting help by yourself, rather they are assisting you as much as translators?

MToolen
10th September 2008, 01:29 PM
Wouldn't it be better to say that dictionaries are less of an aid than translators?

Knight of Time
10th September 2008, 05:04 PM
Do you find dictionaries easy to read no matter what language they're in, Mikachu?

Fett One
10th September 2008, 07:41 PM
Aren't all dictionaries the same, with the exception of the language that they are written in?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
10th September 2008, 11:20 PM
Well wouldn't for instance a hieroglyph-Arabian dictionary be quite hard to read as I'm unfamiliar with both of them?

Fett One
11th September 2008, 08:35 PM
Why would you try to read that kind of dictionary? Does such a dictionary even exist?

MToolen
11th September 2008, 10:57 PM
Do dictionaries follow the same rule of things online, where if you think of it, it's probably online?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
11th September 2008, 11:14 PM
Didn't you take it as an example, Fett One? And did you know there are some really good online dictionaries I use, I don't know about hieroglyph-Arabian which I don't need though?

shazza
12th September 2008, 02:53 AM
Can you tell us about some of these online dictonaries? Did you know I'm genuinely intersted now?

Knight of Time
12th September 2008, 08:35 AM
How long have you been interested in online dictionaries for, shazza? Do you prefer them over the book versions?

Fett One
12th September 2008, 07:00 PM
Isn't it faster to use an online dictionary? V, have you ever been to www.dictionary.com (http://www.dictionary.com)?

Sandslash and Ninetails
12th September 2008, 11:08 PM
How much faster is it to use an online dictionary?

shazza
13th September 2008, 12:23 AM
Wouldn't it depend on how fast you can use a book dictionary?

Knight of Time
13th September 2008, 09:43 AM
What if someone wanting to use a dictionary didn't have any book dictionaries? Would they probably have to rely on Wikipedia to look up stuff?

Fett One
13th September 2008, 04:56 PM
Why would you use Wikipedia as a dictionary? Isn't it only used as an encyclopedia?

mr_pikachu
13th September 2008, 05:20 PM
Is Wikipedia even reliable as an encyclopedia?

Fett One
14th September 2008, 01:05 PM
Haven't we discussed the reliablity of Wikipedia several times? In fact haven't people commented on us constantly discussing the reliablity of Wikipedia, as well?

mr_pikachu
14th September 2008, 02:58 PM
Is that a problem?

Lady Vulpix
14th September 2008, 03:05 PM
Don't the same discussions come up again and again? Does anyone reach any new conclusions or is it just like a wheel, turning over and over?

Knight of Time
15th September 2008, 05:04 PM
Are some of the discussions here in an older Questions Only topic, Gabi?

Fett One
15th September 2008, 06:16 PM
Have you tried looking?

mr_pikachu
15th September 2008, 08:01 PM
Would it really be worth the effort?

Knight of Time
15th September 2008, 08:10 PM
Is the oldest version of the game gone right now? How long do you guys suppose this topic will stick around for after it's closed due to the need of a new version?

mr_pikachu
15th September 2008, 08:21 PM
Don't we have about 200 posts to go before that happens?

Fett One
15th September 2008, 11:20 PM
About how long will it take to reach 200?

mr_pikachu
15th September 2008, 11:23 PM
Doesn't that depend entirely on how often people decide to post?

Fett One
16th September 2008, 07:32 PM
Care to make a guess anyway?

Knight of Time
16th September 2008, 08:15 PM
Would we probably finish around 300 posts, or would that be too many?

mr_pikachu
16th September 2008, 10:32 PM
Don't you know that most threads in PCG finish with around 375 posts?

Fett One
18th September 2008, 08:18 PM
Who picked that limit?

mr_pikachu
18th September 2008, 08:22 PM
Didn't it originate in the days of 25-post pages, when any more than 15 pages seemed like overkill?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
18th September 2008, 10:53 PM
By the way, are we obligated to read all that?

Fett One
19th September 2008, 08:28 PM
Read all of what?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
19th September 2008, 10:44 PM
Wasn't it clear that I meant if you want to post in a thread for the first time but it's really long?

Knight of Time
20th September 2008, 11:49 AM
What are you really trying to say here, Mikachu? Are you trying to confuse someone unintentionally?

Fett One
20th September 2008, 08:49 PM
Why would anyone want to intentionally confuse a person?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
21st September 2008, 12:13 AM
How could I find better words so that you weren't confused?

Fett One
21st September 2008, 01:13 PM
Would a thesaurus help?

firepokemon
23rd September 2008, 06:48 AM
Wouldn't one then be faced with too many choices?

Knight of Time
23rd September 2008, 07:17 AM
Is there usually one synonym for a word that is better than the others?

Fett One
23rd September 2008, 07:23 PM
Wouldn't using a thesaurus help us find out?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
24th September 2008, 08:40 AM
Would using a thesaurus help us to find out whether or not there was use using a thesaurus?

Fett One
24th September 2008, 07:25 PM
Why doesn't someone try it to find out?

firepokemon
25th September 2008, 07:00 AM
Would you like to try it out Fett One?

Fett One
25th September 2008, 08:45 PM
I don't feel like it but what about you?

Knight of Time
25th September 2008, 08:57 PM
Do you not like to read a thesaurus, Fett One? Or do you find them boring?

Fett One
26th September 2008, 09:17 PM
I have never read one so how would I know if I like it or not?

firepokemon
28th September 2008, 10:18 PM
Why don't you go out and read one?

Fett One
28th September 2008, 11:14 PM
How much does one cost? Since it's your idea for me to read one, will you pay for the thesaurus?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
28th September 2008, 11:54 PM
Couldn't you borrow it from a library?

Fett One
29th September 2008, 09:11 PM
Where's the fun in that?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
29th September 2008, 11:22 PM
Does it have to be fun? In fact, do you guys think this whole topic is still funny?

Fett One
30th September 2008, 08:26 PM
Do you think it isn't fun anymore?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
30th September 2008, 11:18 PM
Shall I say this topic is having a dull phase?

Fett One
1st October 2008, 07:37 PM
What do you suggest we do to fix that?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
2nd October 2008, 08:43 AM
May I suggest we should put some more thought on what we say? Or should I just shut up?

Fett One
2nd October 2008, 08:25 PM
Why would you shut up? Aren't we all free to say whatever we want?

mr_pikachu
2nd October 2008, 08:36 PM
What if he doesn't want to exercise his right to free speech?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
3rd October 2008, 04:10 AM
mr_pikachu, how did you know Finland is a democratic country?

firepokemon
3rd October 2008, 05:51 AM
Because Finland is a scandinavian country and they're all democratic?

Dark-San
3rd October 2008, 11:22 AM
Does it even make senses for us to call Finland democratic when we have no idea on its current political system, unless of course Mikachu enlightens us?

mr_pikachu
3rd October 2008, 01:15 PM
Instead of complaining that you know nothing about Finland, why don't you do a little research?

Knight of Time
3rd October 2008, 01:34 PM
Where would you go to research information on Finland? Would it possibly take awhile to gain some knowledge about a country you haven't been to?

Fett One
3rd October 2008, 08:52 PM
Wouldn't google be the best place to look for information?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
3rd October 2008, 11:19 PM
What about Wikipedia? But did you know we do have a parliament named 'eduskunta', and unlike in the US, a president elected in a direct election without delegates? And may I welcome Dark-San back to PCG? Was there too many different kinds of questions here?

Fett One
4th October 2008, 09:06 PM
Why would you use Wikipedia? How long was Dark-San gone for?

Dark-San
4th October 2008, 10:12 PM
Don't you know I was gone for around 4 months or so? Have anyone have any idea on what I went through during that period; undergoing three group assignments at one go, participating in interviews with the companies involved, sleeping for only 4 hours everyday, taking up a part time job to meet your ends? Would anyone like to undergo through this mental torture?

mr_pikachu
4th October 2008, 10:24 PM
Why would anyone want to be tortured?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
5th October 2008, 12:42 AM
What if you live in for example the Naruto world where if you become a prisoner, you will be tortured unless you reveal the secrets that are critical to your family, relatives, clan, even to your country?

Knight of Time
5th October 2008, 08:47 AM
Why would someone want to live in one of the worst countries in the world? Wouldn't it be better for someone to only be in one of those bad countries if they were in the armed forces?

Fett One
5th October 2008, 08:11 PM
How many people would actually want to join the armed forces?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
5th October 2008, 11:42 PM
How many people can choose their home country?

Fett One
6th October 2008, 06:42 PM
Shouldn't everyone be allowed to choose?

Knight of Time
6th October 2008, 07:12 PM
Shouldn't people try to consider looking for the armed forces base nearest them? Or what if they were too far away from a good base to get their training?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
6th October 2008, 11:17 PM
What do you mean, do you think military training helps you to survive in that kind of counrty?

Fett One
7th October 2008, 07:18 PM
Wouldn't it improve your chances?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
7th October 2008, 11:13 PM
Aren't soldiers often targets for terrorists and such? On the other hand, these days civilian death rate in conflicts is high, isn't it?

Dark-San
10th October 2008, 01:19 PM
Why are we discussing such gloomy topics on killings and death? Can't we discuss on a more interesting and fun topic?

mr_pikachu
10th October 2008, 01:24 PM
Wouldn't changing the subject violate the "stay on topic" rule?

Fett One
10th October 2008, 03:57 PM
Technically isn't Dark-San still on topic since he mentioned how gloomy the topic is?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
10th October 2008, 10:41 PM
Isn't Fett One just right? But how could we move to another subject?

Knight of Time
11th October 2008, 10:08 AM
Isn't asking how we can move to another subject considered to be a silly question? And, would asking a silly question always give you a silly answer?

Dark-San
11th October 2008, 10:40 AM
Then why wouldn't we attempt to provide an intelligent answer to that 'stupid' question? Wouldn't it make things a whole lot more interesting?

Fett One
11th October 2008, 10:16 PM
How can you give an answer when you are only allowed to ask questions?

Mikachu Yukitatsu
11th October 2008, 11:53 PM
Hasn't that question been asked before? Actually, hasn't even the first sentence in this post been said before?
