Check this out:

I can't read Japanese, but from the looks of the pictures, it looks like the card game is also to to introduce 2-on-2 battles. Can anyone who can read Japanese tell me what it says?

There's already two-on-two play outside of Japan. Wizard's established the Team Multiplayer format nearly a year ago.

I believe Wizards has introduced 2 vs. 2 games before already.

Yes, and its called teamplay, and its been played by god knows how many times in tournaments already. The japanese TCG adopted teamplay later on, but not becuz WotC did it, but because the gameboy RS has 2-vs-2 battles in it (which btw kinda sux, since u can easily kill of one of the pkmn and u have a big advantage already).

Bout the txt, its nothing much. Basically, translated roughly and in simple terms, "Like in RS, the cards also have a double battle. From now on, u can play with 2 more players for a whole new battle experience." or smthng along that line.

Oh, and juz so u know, this is rather old news. Very old. Heh ;)
