I accept your challenge! is it 3 out at once? or 3 seperate Pokemon one after the other?

I'll lead off with Jynx!

Jynx - Mmm...well hello there Mikey-poo...*Jynxs attempts to kiss Mike*x_x JYNX!! Battle! THEN kiss!!

Girafarig

Go, Ginny, my Slugma!

Hmmm... Let's start out with a Rock Slide to get her pummeled. Then, use a Flamethrower to roast her. Finally, Body Slam your entire magma blazing hot body on her to add further heat pains!

The Muffin Man
11th April 2003, 10:43 PM
Hmm, Alright, Psygo! First, use Reflect and step back. The rocks shouldn't have the momentum to hit you after going through the shield. Next, use a Psychic to arc the flamethrower away, if it's not too hard, into the pool to create a steam-screen!! If the Steam blocks you out, just listen closely to Slugmas sizzling through the moisture and rocks...and set up a Substitute decoy for Slugma to Body Slam!(Sub - 20%)

If there is no steam-screen, brace your body for the heat and Counter it!

Sorry for the lack of length. I have to get off soon and I am technically "away". But I sneak on the comp whenever i find one...hehe.

Round One
Girafarig vs. The Muffin Man
Slugma vs. Jinx

Pre-Battle Status

Slugma - 100%, minty fresh
Jinx - 100%, minty fresh

Arena: Indigo Stadium, boulders scattered around, pool in middle, getting dark, light breeze

Both trainers pick their pokemon, and are ready to battle right away. They both have strategic commands, and are ready to fight to the death. TMM releases a deadly Jinx, Psygo! However, Girafarig, always going for the obvious type advantage, sends out a Slugma. Even though Slugma is quite unevolved and weak, it still has types on its side, and is ready to fight. Psygo, who is a little more advanced, is still hindered by the disability to use icy attacks, which are Jinx's specialty. Ouch. This will surely be a nice battle.

BATTLE

Both pokemon start out pumped, but Jinx decides to go for the defensive before going offensive. This is quite a smart move, and it surely should help in the future. Concentrating, a purple glow surrounds Psygo. Suddenly, a little barrier pops up in front of Psygo. Slugma, however, casts all defense to the side, and, using psychic energy, is able to lift the large boulders and throw them at Psygo. The boulders crash against the barrier, and the barrier starts to crack and shudder under the power of the attack. However, Psygo continues to feed it with his own energy, so, luckily, the boulders cannot get through. Slugma looks at the Jinx angrily, but cannot do a thing to stop it. It has won..for now. However, Slugma is mad as heck, and will make sure to sizzle the little kissing fiend.

Psygo is now ready to flex his psychic ability, and concentrates on that one core point where all energy is stored. Once there, Psygo can tap into an almost infinite supply of psionic energy for any use he wishes. However, Slugma, once again, casts defenses to the side, and laucnhes a beam of fire at Jinx. However, Jinx knows how to counter this and suddenly the flame is diverted. Something stopped it! Wait! No! Some one! Jinx has used its psychic powers to divert the beam. In a failing attempt, Jinx tries to redirect the flame to the pool, but to no avail. His psychic powers are not flexed enough to do that, but he will make do. At least he was not hit.

Now, Slugma is angry. Rearing back, and once again ditching a defensive startegy, he prepares to charge. Every ounce of capable energy that Slugma has is turned into rage. Slugma is just pissed. Pure pissed. Now its beating time. Jinx curls up into a karate position, and focuses. A psionic metrenome beats in Jinx's mind, creating some sort of perfect "counter-radar". For the moment, Slugma is just rearing up. Suddely, the fiery demon laucnhes itself into the air, and comes down upon Jinx. However, Jinx senses this, and suddenly uncurling, and using the enemy's strength against itself, Jinx counters the assault. For a moment Jinxo and Slugma meet face to face, but in a simple second, Slugma is sent flying. Slugma splat against the wall, and sinks down, a mere puddle of magma. Angrily getting up, Slugma takes account that it is very hurt. Not a good sign for Girafarig. Not at all. But in all the cheering, nobody has noticed the large burn on Jinx's hand, which is paining very much.

Post-Battle Status

Jinx - 92%, slightly fatigued, large burn on hand (ouchX_X)

Slugma - 72%, tired, bashed up, extremely angry, rage building up

Arena: Rocks are all in a pile, and Slugma doesn't seem happy...steam is evaporation from its eyesO_O...eek.

Sorry for the shortness, not much time ack.

The Muffin Man

Alright Jynx, take careful aim and use a Bubblebeam to counter any fire attacks he uses. If Slugma uses Rock-attacks, use Reflect to stop them. Otherwise, nurse that hand as you set up Barriers, and use a powerful Blizzard to slick up the arena. If he wants to move, he'll run the risk of water all around!!

Barrier x2 - Blizzard
SUBS - Fire attack - Use BubbleBeam; Rock attack - Use Reflect.

Girafarig
12th April 2003, 07:13 AM
Alright, let's just blow away the Barrier with a Flamethrower to get some steam up. Then, let her execute the Blizzards. Those ice and snow particles should create a steam shied around you. Then, use Acid Armor to furthur make yourself invisible in the steam.

Time for a reffy reffy. Hippy Time.

Round Two

Girafarig vs. The Muffin Man
Slugma vs. Jynx

Pre-Battle Status

Jinx - 92%, slightly fatigued, large burn on hand

Slugma - 72%, tired, bashed up, extremely angry, rage building up

Arena: Rocks are all in a pile, and Slugma doesn't seem happy...steam is evaporation from its eyes

Now we are here again in the most boring arena around. This is....exciting. Wow. Indigo Stadium! Surprise surprise. Yeah whatever. This battle is now exactly very heated up, but Slugma sure is. It is very angry at Jynx, who is an ice type, for beating up on the little sluggy. So, it appears that it wants to vent its rage. However, it seems that its trainer is not that worried.

For GIrafarig, this is just a normal battle. Even though he has a distinct disadvantage from the stats, he knows a few well-timed moves can win him this. He also knows that his high-power fire attacks can singe the little girl pokemon. This match should turn out quite interesting.

The trainers quicky issue their commands. It seems that they are both going on the defensive. Girafarig tells Slugma to add a little bit of invisibility to his life. However, will this dangerous strategy actually work? A steam shield seems very nice, but will it actually work? Nobody actually knows, but soon we wil surely find out.

The Muffin Man, however, is a little more cautious when using his commands. His Jynx is told to put up some nice barriers to protect itself. This is a smart idea, as most of Slugma's attacks are beam-like and can easily be stopped by a strong barrier. Jynx is even told to reinforce his first barrier with a second one. However, the next command that The Muffin Man gives could turn out to help Slugma is Girafarig's plan works out perfects. Even with this, the attack will not be very productive, but will consume more energy than it is worth. However, this round will turn out very strange, I bet.

Trainer Issued Commands

Slugma - Flamethrower ~ SteamShieldCreation ~ Acid Armor

Jynx - Barrier ~ Barrier ~ Blizzard
SUBS - Fire attack - Use BubbleBeam | Rock attack - Use Reflect

Battle

Jynx decides to start out fast this round, because she needs a quick defense. Concentrating, a little light erupts from her hands. Suddenly, the light intensifies, and becomes a wall. Jynx smiles, and closes her eyes. The wall gets bigger and a little thicker. Now she opens her eyes and sighs. Judging from the speed she created that wall, it took quite a bit of energy. This could surely result in problems later. However, for the moment, Jynx is still fresh and not tired at all. Now Slugma decides it is time to make a move. Suddenly, a burst of flame erupts from Slugma's body. Swirling around, the little burst of flame travels towards Jynx at insane speeds. Even with the substitutions her trainer gave her, she never was ready to react to such insane speeds. The blast of flame hits the barrier that Jynx made, and suddenly the barrier stutters and starts to flash on and off. Jynx could be in trouble now.

However, she is not. The flame subsides, and the barrier disappears. Quite a bit of energy was put into it, but not enough to handle such a powerful flamethrower. Seeing as Slugma is still angry, the flame must have been powered by a huge chunk of energy and an enormous amount of rage. However, Jynx is still fine, and she smiles. It is then that she remembers her hand. Looking down, she sees that a tiny bit of flame him it. Now suddenly a jolt of pain shoots through her little body. She looks at the sky, and suddenly feels a whole lot weaker.

Then she realizes that she must persist. She concentrates, while nursing her hand, and tries to put up another barrier. Finding it very hard, she pushes even further. Suddenly, an enormous amount of energy flows out of Jynx, and suddenly a quick barrier is made. Jynx smiles, and then lets out a long sigh. This barrier took a lot of work, but it is sturdy and very hard to break. This was a mission well done. Slugma, however, seems to be doing nothing. Almost like it was waiting for something.

Now Jynx looks to the air, and suddenly the sky becomes overcast. Then, as if out of nowhere, an enormous blizzard descends on the stadium. The hats are taken right off the fans! THe little pieces of icy shards strike the slug, and suddenly they evaporate due to the high temperatures. A large shield of steam is generated around Slugma, but the blizzard blows it away. However, this continues to happen over and over, and Slugma decides to protect itself. Suddenly, a veil of smoke surrounds Slugma. And then, the entire body melts down, and then refigures, stronger than ever. Even though the smoke is cleared away and the steam veil is useless, the acid around Slugma is helping resist the blizzard. Jynx seems quite tired, so she stops the blizzard. And that is the end of quite a boring round.

Post-Battle Status

Jinx - 89%, burn on hand feeling a little better, quite tired (30-40% fatigue)

Slugma - 72%, not that angry anymore, acid around body, slightly tired (20-30% fatigue)

Arena: Rocks are all in a pile, blizzard subsided, chips around the arena due to blizzard.

Girafarig
14th April 2003, 04:19 PM
Well, defensive didn't work too well... We have a disadvantage in HP, but advantage in fatigue. Let's get our odds a little better! First, use a Sunny Day to melt the ice and get the heat on Jynx. Second, barrage Jynx in a Rock Slide! Finally, turn that Acid poisonous and Toxic Jynx!

Sunny Day~Rock Slide~Toxic

The Muffin Man
14th April 2003, 08:34 PM
Alright, Jynx. First, let him use that Sunny Day. Just give it a Rain Dance. Next, use Reflect to stop the Rock Slide. Finally, use a Substitute to take that Toxic!(Sub - 10% should be good)

Rain Dance - Reflect - Sub(10%)

EDIT - Nothing major, Just accidently said "Sunny day" first, rather than Rain Dance.

Round Three
Girafarig vs TMM

Pre-Battle Status
Jinx - 89%, burn on hand feeling a little better, quite tired (30-40% fatigue)

Slugma - 72%, not that angry anymore, acid around body, slightly tired (20-30% fatigue)

Arena: Rocks are all in a pile, blizzard subsided, chips around the arena due to blizzard.

Okay this battle is really heating up. The blizzard scheme did not work very well, but this match can still turn out good for the little Sluggy Sluggy. Both trainers issue out their commands, and unfortunately the ref cannot go into detail for this, so he will just post the commands.

Trainer Issued Commands

Jinx - Rain Dance - Reflect - Sub(10%)
Slugma - Sunny Day - Rock Slide - Toxic

And with that, both pokemon look ready to fight and are being restrained only by time. So, without further adeu, here is the match you've all been waiting for!

BATTLE

Slugma decides to go first and his trainer has told him to quickly put the burn on Jinx. Concentrating, he summons up a powerful energy. The clouds obscuring the sky clear, and the sun is beating down on the arena now. Jinx is really feeling the heat, but tries to concentrate on something other than the pain. Focusing, Jinx tries to also summon up a spirit, but the energy required it just not available yet due to the pain. However, Jinx persists, and she knows that this entire battle lies on the fact that she can use the attacks her trainer wants.

Focusing even harder and tapping into her hidden energy source, suddenly the clouds obscure the sun. The clouds are dark and thick, and look like it might rain. And then, suddenly, just as this is said, lo and behold the clouds start letting loose a storm. Jinx smiles, as the water cools down the burning pain and feels much better.

Slugma, however, is not happy. However, the water hitting him generates steam and creates a thick smog that starts to cover the arena. Quite an unexpected change, but nonetheless, the arena is covered in a thick misty steam, along with the continual regeneration of this mist due to the steam from Slugma. How long can the little Sluggy generate steam and how long will it take for the rain to wear away at the rest of Slugma's life? Only time will tell.

Slugma is now ready to go on the offensive, and starts focusing again. Burning up a portion of energy, Slugma taps into a psychic energy source that was never known to exist. Suddenly the rocks around the arena lift up, and come up above the little fire devil. Now, the plan is to throw the rocks upon Jinx, but where is Jinx. In the thick misty steam, it is impossible to see the enemy. Slugma tries to hold the rocks and move around and look for Jinx, but realizes that would be very fatiguing. Now, Slugma is getting very tired holding the rocks, so suddenly they crash to the ground around Slugma, creating almost a rock barrier in front of him. Jinx, now just waiting, decides not to create his shield as it would be pointless.

Jinx now takes the initiative to create a defense. Suddenly, there is a huge flash of light, and there are two Jinxs. At the same time, Slugma sees a little beam of energy darting towards him. Creeping into his mind, it locks up the thought of double Jinxes. Now Jinx's mental lock is ready. Slugma thinks a little, and then takes the acid around his body and sucks it up into his mouth. Poised to spit out the toxins on Jinx, he once again realizes that he cannot see Jinx. Realizing that he will become intoxicated if he keeps the acid in his mouth any longer, he spits the juice haphazardly into the air. The liquid crashes to the ground, wasted. Jinx smiles, knowing that she can now nurse her hand.

Post-Battle Status
Jinx - 79%, nursing wound, sub active, quite tired (33-43% fatigue)

Slugma - 70%, not that angry anymore, quite tired (35-45% fatigue)

Arena: Rocks in front of Slugma, blizzard subsided, chips around the arena due to blizzard, raining, misty steam around

The Muffin Man
19th April 2003, 09:47 AM
Alright Jynx, use a Psychic attack, and show Slugma you're more than good looks and an Ice-type! Next, Use a Double-Team! That Steam Shields gonna make it nearly impossible to tell who the rain drops pass through and who they don't! Finally, find Slugma and pelt it with a Bubblebeam attack! Full-force! From a distance, of course, so it doesn't find you!

Psychic - Double Team - Long-range Bubblebeam

Girafarig
19th April 2003, 09:50 AM
Okay, first, Protect against the Psychic! Then, Sunny Day to melt away the steam shield! Finally, counter the Bubblebeam with Flamethrower.

Round Four
Girafarig vs. TMM

Pre-Battle Status
Jinx - 79%, nursing wound, sub active, quite tired (33-43% fatigue)

Slugma - 70%, not that angry anymore, quite tired (35-45% fatigue)

Arena: Rocks in front of Slugma, blizzard subsided, chips around the arena due to blizzard, raining, misty steam around

Trainer Issued Commands

Jinx - Psychic - Double Team - Long-range Bubblebeam

Slugma - Protect ~ Sunny Day ~ Flamethrower

BATTLE

And this round starts without the crucial pre-battle, which really doesn't matter to the trainers. Oh well! Nobody cares! So, both trainers have issued commands and the fight is starting.

Jinx starts quickly by locating the enemy with a quick psychic. After a quick lock, Jinx smiles. Its time to hurt, little Sluggy. Jinx exerts herself and starts to attack Slugma's brain. However, she finds herself denied. Unable to see what has happened, Jinx pushes harder, but finds it all in vain. Now, if she was able to see, she would see a small barrier around Slugma, protecting from any incoming attack. However, this greatly fatigued both pokemon, and this could surely add to the pain they are feeling.

The steam shield continues to be created, and this arena is getting even more hazy. To add to this, Jinx suddenly focuses, and splits into 3 parts. What's this!?! Suddenly, Jinx's doubles start to disintegrate. The rain! The rain has disabled the clones, revealing the one and only Jinx. Now Slugma concentrates, burning up huge amounts of energy to call the sun out. The clouds start to clear up, and the rain stops in an abnormal fashion. Suddenly, the sun comes out, shining light on the arena. However, the haze still has not lifted completely.

Now both pokemon are getting ready for an attack. They can see the enemy, but not very clearly so they will have to fire haphazardly. Suddenly, both pokemon unleash their blasts. The blue from Jinx's side collides with the red from Slugma's side. Both pokemon try to let their beams feed off their energy, but find it quite hard to to so, but they sacrifice whatever they can to their beams. Slowly, however, the blue beam starts to overtake the red beam. Slowly working its way down towards Slugma. Slugma finally gives up and it hit by the blue beam, though not very hard. And so ends the round!

Post-Battle Status
Jinx - 79%, nursing wound, sub active, quite tired (42-52% fatigue)

Slugma - 64%, not that angry anymore, definitely tired (49-59% fatigue)

Arena: Clear Skies active, rocks around Slugma, slight haze covering arena (will clear in a matter of actions)

Girafarig
24th April 2003, 03:36 PM
Well, our energy is down, but not by much. Okay, first let's use a wide range Flamethrower erratically around the arena to keep Jynx waiting. Then, use Rock Slide, but use it around the arena erratically. Finally, go out for a Rollout, and pick up speed quickly to be able to defend against most attacks.

The Muffin Man
24th April 2003, 05:21 PM
hmm...Alright, he wants to Fire erratically? Jynx, hid behind a rock for the Flamethrowers and wrap a Psychic around him. Since he's glowing, we can lock onto that area and duck behind a rock. Next, when he starts firing Rock Slides, use a Double Team and hide underneith a sturdy rock-structure, one that can take a few smashes from Rocks. Finally, when he comes at ya with a Roll-out, stand out in front of the Pool and wait! Either Slugma's gonna lose momentum and turn*in which case, use a Counter to throw it off, it's gonna be surrounded by rock anyhow so it won't burn*, but if he choose to jump, use Ice Beam, strong enough to make it fall into the pool, but weak enough so it doesn't take much energy.

Sorry for procrastinating about this-____-. Me is stupid. Again, a quick no pre-battle reffing.

Round Five
TMM vs. Girafarig

Pre-Battle Status
Jinx - 79%, nursing wound, sub active, quite tired (42-52% fatigue)

Slugma - 64%, not that angry anymore, definitely tired (49-59% fatigue)

Arena: Clear Skies active, rocks around Slugma, slight haze covering arena (will clear in a matter of actions)

Trainer Issued Commands
Slugma - Flamethrower ~ Rock Slide ~ Rollout

Jynx - Psychic ~ Double Team ~ Counter/Ice Beam

And with that, the round begins, rather quickly. Jynx starts off fast, and runs towards the rocks, trying to take some shielding from the evil Slugma's attacks. Slugma, however, takes no note of this, and crazily starts whipping out his flame guns. The dark flame sweeps around the arena, but to no avail. Jynx senses Slugma's energy and grabs it with mental grip, tearing Slugma apart from the inside out.

Jynx smiles, but Slugma is not done. The haze lifts, and Slugma can see the pile of rock. Perfect. Slugma posseses some sort of psychic energy, and suddenly the rocks lift up into the air with great force. Jynx braces itself, and suddenly splits into 4 Jynxs. However, this effort to defend itself is in vain, and the rocks crash down upon the 4 helpless ladies and crush the clones along with the real Jynx. When the rubble clears, Jynx is hurt, but not done yet.

Jynx backs up to the pond, and braces itself. Slugma starts to spin, faster, faster, faster, and suddenly it is a whirr, and it comes launching at Jynx with great fury. However, seeing that Jynx is not backing down or even moving, Slugma is about to slow down. But then, something tells it to go the extra mile. Launching itself at even greater speeds, it catapults at Jynx, who is in a fighter's stance. Jynx smiles, and as Slugma comes withing inches of its body, it kicks up into a JuJitSu style counterassault. Slugma goes flying away from Jynx, and slams into the edge of the arena, and sinks down, hurt badly. Jynx grins, but then lets out a big sigh. The counterassault took up quite a bit of energy. But wait! Something has now emerged from the rubble! It seems that Jynx had a Substitute to take the blow from the RockSlide! What a great play.

Post-Battle Status
Jinx - 79%, sub blown up, definitely tired (56-66% fatigue)

Slugma - 39%, foaming at the mouth, definitely tired (55-65% fatigue)

Arena: Clear Skies fading away, Slugma slammed against edge, haze lifted
