Ive noticed a lot of people have joined in Sept of 2002 (myself included) and I think its pretty cool, its almost like sharing the same birthday with someone! So Im calling anyone whos joined Sep 2002 to post in this topic! Ill edit this first post to make a list of all the people who share my TPM birthday lol

And on second thought so everyone else can post here Ill go ahead and list everyone elses join dates, that way everyone can see who (if anyone) shares their same join date.

So I joined the 25th of September 2001. One of the reasons was that my E-mail exchange with an English girl ended after the 11th of Sept terrorist attacks. Maybe my response was too strange. I needed something to compensate that. I didn't even know what a message board was though, but still I joined. Back there I could use the internet only at school or library, I remember my classmates complaining that I was too old for a 'Pokemon forum'. They just didn't get TPM is a lot more than a Pokemon forum.

Unfortunately for me I joined sort of late in the life of TPM in 23rd of May in 2006. The only person of not who also signed up on that day is Negrek who mainly lurks the forums now and again.

Alot of people also share my birthday but the only active person is Crystal Tears.

As I recall, September 2002 is when this forum came back to life and we rushed back here from the ezboard - I think that could explain the join date being so frequent. Having said that, people who were members before the forum went down initially (like myself) have retained their original join dates despite the move; so I'm guessing, in Sep 2002, we had a lot of people who had joined the forum while it was in its ezboard phase convert over to this forum.

That's the best explanation I can come up with, anyway.

As for me, I joined on April Fool's Day in 2001. I had been lurking on and off for a couple of months, but got totally fooled by the Digimasters prank, I believe. Don't judge me - I was only twelve!

I tried to go to the main site back in '02, but all I got was a message that the forums were back up, so I decided to check the place out. At first, I only checked RS, then I started checking out Misc. and I clearly remember the first thread that I read there was a complaint about porn in TPM's popup adds. I started lurking for the last time in late 2004 and then I finally joined.

November 15, 2000, a Wednesday as it were. I had been browsing the forums for a while then and, at only 11, I think I decided to lie about my age to get on. It's funny the things you remember: I tried my first post out in Pig Latin. But we were all young once.

It's also funny how little I've done in my tenure here. By comparison, other members who joined in 11/00 include Bear, shazza, and Little_Pikachu.

I remember the prank too although I wasn't a forum member yet. I remember I came to visit the main site on the 2nd of April or was it even 3rd of April (know the time zones?) and there was the text something like 'Did you get fooled yesterday?' I told that to some of my friends and they were like 'What the heck is he talking about?'

Another joke was in 2002 or was it 2003 and I missed that too. It was something that messed up the forums. Probably it wasn't a schoolday, which meant no internet for me.

In the beginning of the post, I said I remember but then I noticed I didn't really.

I lurked the forums and the site since about August-September 2000 at the tender age of 11. I'd also frequent the chat room and I vaguely recall being unaware I was able to register (I presumed you had to pay) until firepokemon informed me I didn't have to.

Initially inputting my details, I would never have predicted the amount of memories, people I've known and history that TPM has brought towards me. I only wish we thought more about arching back in 2000-2001 (and even 2002); imagine if we didn't need to resort to shitty web archive and have little chance of finding something cool, instead EVERYTHING was archived.

It would be amazing. But now, they are only memories.

I was almost a June 2002 because Sarah encouraged me to join TPM when she was in Dragonball VG but when I tried the site was down and I didnt feel like joining the ezboard (plus I couldnt find it). I gave up on it til Sarah told me it was back up again ^-^() I remember seeing Mr Pikachu and Mystic Clown were also sept 2002 but I dont know who else is one.

I started lurking in March 2000, and originally joined in November that same year (can't remember the exact day...I think it was early in the month).

When the board glitched due to the move that year, I had to re-register on December 6th, 2000, and I've had that account ever since.

First account or second account? My first account started back at 2000 but lost the password. My current account is my second account so it states 2001. So either way looking from that, I still join before September 2002.

But hey at least there is some similarities! At least, my birthday is on a September too.
